you should think carefully before you marry any man - you should be doubly careful before you marry a man from a culture you do not understand.
your marriage fell apart, not because the man was Nigerian, but because you married a man that you did not know.
At the end of the day we are all responsible for our actions and the choices we make. I'm sorry that you are hurting but you shouldn't turn around and blame your failed choices on a whole nation of people.

But part of moving on is also taking responsibility for your part in decisions... It takes TWO people to get pregnant... It is not just a case of HE got you pregnant... Pregnancy takes two people, if YOU did not want to have a child, then precautions should have been taken, therefore, it is also your responsibility to take ownership of of your decision. Sorry, but this is a sensitive subject when I hear women blaming HiM for, getting THEM pregnant. Unless it was a forced sexual encounter, then you BOTH had a part in it... Just as your tolerance to his cheating and forgiving him time and time again has put you in an terrible position... When you take ownership of decisions, you can learn and progress.. And make better ones. I am not meaning to be harsh, but you see the man for who he is now, divorce and move forward... Be strong... Learn from the mistakes you made, not from the ones he made...

Congratulations on your approval.... My hubby came through Houston and got red lane his first time. However it was no big deal they saw the 10 pounds of shea butter he was bringing me. They checked his documents and his bags and he moved on to his connection. You're savy so you know how she should pack. He also said stay off the phone in the customs hall and baggage claim... The are very picky about that there. Enjoy your flight and again Congrats....

I was going to said the same thing. When your financee is feeling up to it, really probe her to figure out what questions they seem to be getting stuck on. Not that this has anything to do with anything, but I remember you were considering a translator for her did you end up going that route? Was your fiancee understanding the questions? Try to get her to tell you how the question was worded, not how she interpreted it. Dont let too many days pass though so that she does not forget. So that if you guys get married, and she faces the interview again she has a better strategy of how to answer ( such as repeating her understanding of the question before answering). Not saying this is the reason for her denial, but its better to cover all your ground. Interviewing, etc is in my field of study and there is something to be said of the power of interpretion. Good Luck Gowon.

Ebun12 reacted to del-2-5-2014 in Question for all Lagos I-129F
Allegedly, and I followed it, Lagos embassy is a tough embassy to get a visa from. So it requires a preponderance of evidence, useful evidence not just nonsensical volumes.. I personally have about 300 to 500 pages of evidence including the petition package and visa package. I don't expect any CO to go through it but as I read on a thread from a CO (see my sig) thus particular CO prefers to have too much evidence than not enough. So he can leaf though the evidence to find what he needs.
Another allegation is that most of the times the CO has made up his mind to either approve or deny the visa before the beneficiary steps up to his window. So for tough embassies what you do is send a lot of documentation in the petition stage so that the CO has a lot fo information to saunter through at his convenience. The evidence I submitted at the visa stage are just newer documentation such as post petition phone bills, emails, correspondences as well as the visa forms which of course now includes my I-134 and supporting documents such as bank, tax (I sent IRS tax account for four years so he can see a continued pattern of income, as an example instead off just the one they required), job letter, etc.
Did I send too much documents for say London Embassy or Toronto? Most likely, I think all they require there is for the beneficiary to have a pulse. But for Lagos Embassy I think I did quite well and went well beyond the requirement.
One more thing I did and recommend is to catalogue the information is useful project management style so that the CO can easily follow along. Also, do not get confused between the IR1/CR1 folks as they are quite different from K1 folks.
    Good luck.
PS: One more thing and I apologize in advance, at the end of the day, you will read a lo tof opinions and conjectures but the final act is for you to do what you feel is proper. Don't take any one persons word for it, not even mine. What I did was specifically search out posts from successful Lagos applicants. Once I identified them I then back tracked and started reading their posts from the beginning to see their path.

best of luck but just so you know some men are just jerks there are alot of guys in this country that are USC that walk out on their kids. Maybe being a dad freaked him out.. I dont know how long you have been seperated now but he may realize it was a mistake and come back. But either way it sounds like you have a good family behind you so love that baby and take care of yourself right now your hormones are all over the place after just having a baby this stress is not good for you or the baby. The best thing that ever happened to me were my kids. Regardless of his decission to stay or go you are the lucky one to have that baby. But he is not off the hook you need to make him pay child support. That you dont let him get away from. Let him have the American dream which is work hard everyday for every penny you get.. But also make him pay the american child support.... Good luck...

I am a USC and I am sorry you went thru this and my husband comes from a HIGH fraud country and it may or may not work out for us I pray it does but it is a gamble when you marry anyone. My ex husband was a USC and he was bipolar one minute sweet as can be next minute so cruel... relaltionships are a gamble regardless of who you marry... I think what happens the shock of the marriage ending after investing so much time for both parties not just the USC..for the USC they decide they have been used and now they are on the line because of the AOS.... so my advise is READ WHAT U SIGN you are agreeing to this regardless of what happens to your marriage. The best revenge anyone can have on a spouse that wronged them is to have a happy life without them... So I hope your future is bright and you find that right person not all USC cry scam.. but some do rightfully but some immagrants can say the same...
