Ok...so we are going to try this again for the interview tomorrow...embassy emailed me and we are set up for tomorrow..

Not happy at all...interview cancelled due to Obama arrival in Chile...feel like I wasted $1,000+ to be here...said come on 23rd to see what we can do...I leave that night...who knows...

Vinko just picked up Packet 3 in Santiago yesterday...he's going to call for his medical today and go get his "tramites" taken care of...progress!

Acabo de verificar con la embajada que mandaron por Correos Chile nuestro Packet 3 en la 9/2/11...pero todavia no lo recibimos!!! Demora los Correos Chile tanto??? Por ejemplo, Vinko me mando una carta para el dia de San Valentin el dia 3/2...y lo recibi aqui en Ohio este sabado (19/2)...es normal esto???? Mencione la demora a la embajada pero no he recibido respuesta...Espero q...

Thank you for the information. In fact, I was just checking into the DHL tracking system late last night and saw that my packet was delivered on Friday. How do you know for sure if it is your packet though? It is too bad that the visa specialist is not available on the weekend, I want official confirmation of receipt! I am excited :-) !

Mierda! Como todo el mundo...el NVC esta cerrado y que va a demorar la informacion mia para Chile

creo q se van a demorar todos. Mi caso fue aprovado y aun mis documentos no han llegado al NVC. Espero q después de las mini vacaciones trabajen más rápido!!!
Pq ayer llamé y salieron diciendo q tenían hasta 90 días después q los documentos lleguen donde ellos para terminar de procesarlos y puede q más de no conseguir número de VISA. :/

Yes, Vinko is in Santiago. I have had contact by email with the embassy there on various things and they respond very quickly. Patty and Paul have had their NOA2 since early January and they already have an interview date...going to check to see if my stuff has moved after I get my hard copy in the mail...
