DO NOT go into a K-1 interview without the ability to prove you can support your fiance(e)
That sentence alone is VERY important. If you were to arrive unprepared to meet this burden, you WILL be delayed. Happy filing.

Sorry for the RFE! However, everything you've heard here is correct. It can be something bery simple that is missing. Dont drive yourself crazy trying to figure it out, and dont try and make preparations for response, because you don't know what you need to respond to. Just be patient and wait for the letter. Good luck.

I would not say that she should completely worry as yet. It may just be taking them a while to review the incoming mail. Did she keep a copy of the cashiers check? Or at least write down numeric identifier? Wherever the check was drafted should be able to tell if it was cashed, if she can provide the number. That's my best suggestion.

so Everyone Knows ForBrother_F2A is my Brother. He WILL be the applicant once the petition is submitted in a few weeks
Oh... okay cool. I knew you had another filing coming up. Great to have you ForBrother_F2A. Happy filing!

I have seen many people come on this site feeling helpless after a heartbreaking disappointment either from a denied petition, complications, or just trying to prepare for what’s ahead. In their quest for directions, I have observed people kick them while they were down. I have observed mockery. I have observed sarcasm with disrespectful intentions. I have observed bullies and I have observed disrespectful tones either in response to the OP or a participant’s comment.
Just before you make a comment, bear in mind this site is rich in diversity, and you can’t use your own cultural exposure to judge others’.
It is ok to introduce some humor but let it be to cheer up the OP/participant(s) and not to mock. If you have nothing respectfully constructively to say, please, don’t waste your time commenting. We are all adults already married or about to, so, please, show some class.
It is ok to disagree as there are always different perspectives to an issue. If you want to hide behind your computer and be rude …take that sh*t somewhere else where you can “freelance” as much as you want.
Adjust that Attitude! A bunch of words is more than enough for the wise!
Great topic OP. Unfortunately, individuals seem to forget that they were once in the same position as many who have questions. Then, because their process is completed and went smoothly, anyone else whose process doesnt mimick theirs, must have done something wrong. Anywho... I'm glad these words have been said. It wont change many, but hopefuly, it'll get through to a few cold souls. Ciao all. Happy filing.

Always, it reminded me of the night before our k1 interview, I was so nervous! You are a trooper because I hate discomfort, I would've been crying to the doctor by now! May God bless you.

No seriously though, praying happy and healthy thoughts for all my mommies to be, and my YARDIE fam! Bless up.

I printed our pictures on photo paper so that they were letter size. But all of the above are great recommendations. Happy filing!

I love this Idea.... And since the poster (just) want to know if the case was received then he/she can wake up at 3am or call just after 12am when they are closed if u dont want to life by the phone all day.
Funny. But true!

Great question. Note taken, thanks much!

Ricardo: You're such a team player! Love it. I'm not filing in December but seeing as I'm still waiting for my NOA1 I feel like I'll fit in just fine. Happy filing!

I've seen the number listed here a few times, but I dont know where to find it. Until someone can supply it, I don't see the harm in sending an email. Then you can followup with a physical phoe inquiry. Email addys are: consularkingst@state.gov; kingstonivinfo@state.gov
Hope that helps. Good luck!

I will do my research when I get closer to that point in the process.
You and me both. Please update as you go along. Be blessed.

What a blessing to have gotten your approval! Be blessed. Congrats.

Very sorry to hear that. The best thing you can do is appeal the decision and do your absolute best to provide evidence that you are not related. Also don't pay attention to any negative post here. Stay positive and try again.
You have received some useful responses (such as this one). Unfrotunately, you dont know what they are using as evidence so you can't combat that. However, appealing the decision and supplying ample evidence to negate what they consider fact is the only option at this point. Good luck.

Let us know what the turnout is. That sounds funky, but I'm sure they can tell you whats right! Good Luck.

THANK YOU ALL for your support! Times like this can be challenging! I cried for a while yesterday morning, but then I talked to my mother-in-law and she said, "It's only one more month! Think how fast the past 2 months went by as you waited for the first interview! You two love each other and will be together soon!" I had to agree and felt much better after our conversation! I sent an e-mail to the embassy yesterday, as well...and will let you all know as soon as they reply.
Did you ever get a response?

people do make mistake that how life his
i get married after that divoced and file for someone and we were togateher for a couple of year
so it was just a mistake
So, you married him before paperwork was completed he divorced you and married someone else. Think I got that from the first portion of your statement. But then, am I clear to understand you married someone else? Now you are married to someone else and filing for them?

Hello all:
Quick question. I'm preparing to send in my I-129F Petition and I'm trying to make sure I send it to the right address. I'm sending the Petition through USPS but with a flat rate envelope and certified. Would that mean I should send it to the P.O. Box or the actual street address?
Help Please.

You should be fine. Worry not so much about the electronic notification and look forward to the physical NOA1 in the mail. Happy filing.
