  1. Hi, fiance mailed our I-129F last sun, Nov. 28 thru UPS. Upon checking with the website, it showed that the package was collected Nov. 29, and reached Lewisville on Nov. 30. Im worried since fiance has not received any email or text confirmation, when in fact the G-1145 is included in the package. However, he failed to ask for a return receipt, and he enclosed a personal cheque.

Is there a reason for me to be worried yet? Or could it be that even USCIS electronic notifications can be delayed too? I understand that the Dallas lockbox handles all I-129F, does this mean then that Lewisville perhaps forwarded our package to Dalls perhaps, and we should wait for the notification from Dallas instead?

You should be fine. Worry not so much about the electronic notification and look forward to the physical NOA1 in the mail. Happy filing.

  2. I have seen many people come on this site feeling helpless after a heartbreaking disappointment either from a denied petition, complications, or just trying to prepare for what’s ahead. In their quest for directions, I have observed people kick them while they were down. I have observed mockery. I have observed sarcasm with disrespectful intentions. I have observed bullies and I have observed disrespectful tones either in response to the OP or a participant’s comment.

Just before you make a comment, bear in mind this site is rich in diversity, and you can’t use your own cultural exposure to judge others’.

It is ok to introduce some humor but let it be to cheer up the OP/participant(s) and not to mock. If you have nothing respectfully constructively to say, please, don’t waste your time commenting. We are all adults already married or about to, so, please, show some class.

It is ok to disagree as there are always different perspectives to an issue. If you want to hide behind your computer and be rude …take that sh*t somewhere else where you can “freelance” as much as you want.

Adjust that Attitude! A bunch of words is more than enough for the wise!

Great topic OP. Unfortunately, individuals seem to forget that they were once in the same position as many who have questions. Then, because their process is completed and went smoothly, anyone else whose process doesnt mimick theirs, must have done something wrong. Anywho... I'm glad these words have been said. It wont change many, but hopefuly, it'll get through to a few cold souls. Ciao all. Happy filing.

  3. Always, it reminded me of the night before our k1 interview, I was so nervous! You are a trooper because I hate discomfort, I would've been crying to the doctor by now! May God bless you.

You an me both! I'm hurting just reading all this stuff! Baby kicking, needle poking, back pain! LAWD HAVE MERCY! lol.

No seriously though, praying happy and healthy thoughts for all my mommies to be, and my YARDIE fam! Bless up. :P

  4. Very sorry to hear that. The best thing you can do is appeal the decision and do your absolute best to provide evidence that you are not related. Also don't pay attention to any negative post here. Stay positive and try again.

You have received some useful responses (such as this one). Unfrotunately, you dont know what they are using as evidence so you can't combat that. However, appealing the decision and supplying ample evidence to negate what they consider fact is the only option at this point. Good luck.

  5. THANK YOU ALL for your support! Times like this can be challenging! I cried for a while yesterday morning, but then I talked to my mother-in-law and she said, "It's only one more month! Think how fast the past 2 months went by as you waited for the first interview! You two love each other and will be together soon!" :) I had to agree and felt much better after our conversation! I sent an e-mail to the embassy yesterday, as well...and will let you all know as soon as they reply.

Did you ever get a response?

people do make mistake that how life his

i get married after that divoced and file for someone and we were togateher for a couple of year

so it was just a mistake

So, you married him before paperwork was completed he divorced you and married someone else. Think I got that from the first portion of your statement. But then, am I clear to understand you married someone else? Now you are married to someone else and filing for them?
