Yup, got a text and email today at 5:00pm! I was floored. I started crying and hugged the random stranger next to me. (He was shocked, but then hugged me back.)

I was dead set that we were going to get an RFE since I only sent in the form and fee at first. I did mail another packet of papers in early January, but got no confirmation it was ever matched up to my petition. It must have been though, because there is no way for an approval without an RFE if I were not matched up.

I am beyond speechless right now about it!

According to my completeness tool thingy (link), over 19% of VJ September CSC filers have been approved.

Congratulations!!! It's amazing how you describe the moment when you called your fiance' and no words are coming out your mouth. Wow I wish I could experience the same feeling I'm a semptember CSC filer and hoping that I received my NOA2 this February.

yea, i have all the stuff here in an envelope as i was expecting to get an RFE and have to send it in. but i got the NOA2 today. lucky!

It should be 5 months fom the date of your NOA1.

Hi guys! I'm just wondering when should I start counting the 5 month mark? Should I start from the day I mailed the application or from the moment they received the application.?

Has anyone looked at the igor's list today? I saw some people with NOA 1 dates of 8-17-10 who got approved on 1-10-11. It looks like they are beginning to work on the second half of august. I say at the end of the month we can see some September fillers getting approved.

I also did not know this thread existed until today as well. Good luck everybody hopefully the NOA2 will be here soon.

Well, it's now January 1. We are now down to 1-2 months (based on the 5 month timeline, which has been a bit tenuous lately).

Nothing will happen for two days, that's for sure, but now that the party is over at USCIS, let's see if they start getting busy on the work we are paying them $1,820.00 an hour to do ($455.00 a pop times 4 petitions per hour).

We all need to keep our timelines up and to report phone calls and other contact, not just for our own encouragement, but as tools to use when each of us needs to make our own phone calls. Knowledge is power, and the more we compare notes, the more we empower each other to get the one thing we are after.

2011 is the year that it all happens for us. Let each of us empower all of us to make it happen sooner instead of later.

Hi guys! I'm a September filler too and I have to ask, am I the only one in here that thinks that the NOA 2 is just a waste of time? I mean why can't they start going through the application once they got it? I don't know maybe spend 30 to 45 minutes to go through all the papers sent with the application then inform the applicant if their application have been approved or require further evidence. Think about it, they can save time by doing the work just once and save some money by sending us back one notice of action. Or maybe not, maybe I'm just one of the many VJ members who are getting frustrated because of the long wait. I'm such a whiner.

Today is exactly the 3rd month since I received my NOA1. Hopefully next month our luck will change. My fiance is getting frustrated right now. Anyway, happy holidays to all VJ members!

MIKE,, I INCLUDED THE PAGE WHEN I ENTERED THE RP, AND THE ONE WITH ME GOING OUT, INCLUDING THE MAIN PAGE WITH MY CONVICT LOOKING PICTURE. I BLEW THEM UP SO THEY COULD BE SEEN BETTER. ALSO I GUESS THEY COULD NOT SEE THE PAGE ON MY DIVORCE THAT SHOWED THE DAY OF FILING.

MIKE, I HAD TO SEND MUCH THE SAME THING TO THEM, BECAUSE I SENT THE WRONG PAGES OF MY PASSPORT. IT ONLY ADDS ABOUT 2 WEEKS IF YOU ARE RIGHT ON IT. THEY RECEIVED MY RFE THE 19TH OF NOVEMBER AND HER VISA WAS APPROVED TODAY,24 NOVEMBER.

SO, NO SWEAT. JUST DO EVERYTHING THEY ASK,

AND IT WILL MOVE RIGHT ALONG.
