  1. This past 6 or 7 weeks since we have been waiting for Pui's interview has been so SLOW. I was just talking to her and decided to see if the embassy updated the schedule for June and they did and just made sure her interview is still 06/08 and it is. This next 2 weeks should go pretty quick I think. For those of you with your loved ones I just want to say congratulations and good luck with your journeys and for those of you who are still waiting I just wanted to say good luck and you will be with your loved ones soon and good luck with your journeys. I'll keep you all updated how the interview goes.

June 8th is just around the corner. Goodluck on Pui's interview.

  2. Hi guys! I just want to share another good news. My fiancée received her visa today... We are so happy and very thankful to god and to all the people in VJ especially the September fillers. This was a very tiring and painful process but we are happy to experience it all with all of you. Good luck to the rest of the VJ members that are either in the middle of the petition process or just started this long process.

  3. Hi guys! Thank you for the replies. I just got the good news from my fiancée, she received her visa today. We did not even know that they deliver visas on weekends. Anyway we are so happy and very thankful to god and all VJ members. Thank you very much and good luck to all couples who are just started and who are in te middle of the petition process hang tight.

  4. Hi guys! My fiancée passed her interview two weeks ago but until now she has not received her visa yet. We are starting to worry because I tried to call the number for visa inquiry they are helpful but they can't give me a straight answer. Is there anyhting I should or can do about it except to wait? A couple of our friends here in VJ got theirs in just 3-5 days. Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you...

  5. Our interview is Monday morning Moscow time...so late tomorrow night here. I won't be there because petitioner is not allowed to attend interviews in Moscow. Instead I will be nervous as heck and trying to sleep. I'm glad she is the one being interviewed and not me. She is excited, happy, and not the slightest bit nervous about this life defining event. But really, we have nothing to be worried about; we have an amazing relationship, we have all of our documents in order, and she is a sharp cookie. Why am I still nervous?

I think that's normal. I was nervous myself when my fiacee was interviewed last week. We know we have all the required documents but still. I'm saying this because were done with the process but just relax and everything will be all right. Goodluck!

Mike_D, my sincere congratulations to both of you!!

Dogspot, I am too so nervous, while my fiance is not at all! =) You will be together veeeery soon!!

    Thank you and goodluck!

    INTERVIEW: APPROVED!!!!!

    The wait is finally over!

Hey my message was late... CONGRATULATIONS!!!

  6. You should call NVC and ask then when did they send your petition to Manila. Then after about a week try to call the embassy in Manila to see if they received the petition from NVC if they do have then they will tell you to pay your visa and then schedule an appointment. Here is the link for a detailed summary of steps after getting your case number. Goodluck!!!

  7. hi! if you are from Philipines, you need to get a police clearance in order to obtain an NBI clearance if its ur first time to get one.But if u already hav one before, u can go ryt at the NBI office and renew it.NBI CLEARANCE is what u need to show at the interview.Police clearance wont be accepted..And about the POLICE CERTIFICATE, u need to have this if you have been to other countries for at least 6 months.

Thank you very much and yes my fiancee is from the Philippines. What you said is true, according to the officer that my finacee asked, a police certificate is for a person who got out of their country for a period of 6 months or more.

  8. Get them directly from the IRS. Ask for your tax transcripts for the past 3 years and have them faxed to you!

I got my last three years of transcripts from the IRS by mail on Saturday. They do fax the transcripts provided that the fax you are using is a personal fax. The representative fax them over to me but she said that her system is down at that time and all she can fax me are what she called computer generated copies. So I asked her to send me a copy of the transcripts by mail so I'll have the standard copies too. So I got them Saturday and forwarded them to my fiancee. Thank you all for the replies...

  9. Hi VJ members! I have a question about evidence of financial support. I understand that I need to send copies of federal income tax return form 1040 and W-2s, but my question is should I get a copy of these from the IRS or are the copies of my tax returns that my accountant gave me sufficient. Please help my fiancee's interview is 11 days from now. Thank you in advance for your help.

  10. Awesome Mike D! That's like a few weeks away!

We're still waiting on the embassy to receive our case. NVC says they sent it on 3/15. Embassy says they have nothing and to contact NVC. Called NVC numerous times and finally voiced my concern that our case might be lost. They gave me an email address to write to: nvcinquiry@state.gov. I wrote them and they told me to contact the embassy. What a bunch of $hit. No responsibility; no accountability. It's really scary actually.

Hi dogspot! I don't know if this information will help you but I thought I share it anyway. When I called the US Embassy in Manila to confirm if they received our petition yet and the representative told me that they only the email from NVC about our petition. So I'm thinking maybe they have an email from NVC about your petition. I hope everything will be okay...
