  1. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this - my AP is in my married name, as well as all my other ID, US driver's license, military ID, etc, etc...

My passport is in my maiden name... I know, I should get it changed, but I have been insanely busy at work, etc.

Will I have issues re-entering the US. I am brining my marriage cert, too.... I won't go though if there's any chance of being denied re-entry.

  2. We both had nothing of any great value when we got married. However, if I had sizeable assets I would've gotten one. Nothing too crazy - just some basic protection to make sure I wasn't being married for my $$$.

  3. Awww.... glad he came home ok! My husband is USMC, too... he stays late lots, and his cellphone gets horrible reception on base, so I know what it's like! He in california now and it's killing me... I have no idea how so many wives get through "real" deployments.

  4. From the roomate from hell many times in the past... SORRY!! we do grow up though - just takes about 5 years :)

Good on ya for getting them back, I hope you opened all the curtains, too :D

  5. You know what... I don't really care about ANY of the contestants this season... I don't really have a fave, and I don't think any of them are really good, either. It sucks, I'm usually SO into this show, I just think they have weak finalists this year in comparison to previous years.

    Anyone else agree?

  6. Cool! I am glad to hear they had fun, I've been reading lots of reviews and not all of them are good!!!

Jacksonville is so convenient for us - we live near Savannah so not having to book a flight saves even more $$$. I'm super excited - wish we were going earlier!!!

  7. We're going on Carnival, out of Jacksonville... it's just for 5 nights and we only stop in Key West and Nassau, but the price was FANTASTIC, and it's our first cruise so I hope it'll be a good introduction. Under $700 for the two of us with all taxes, etc. Can't beat that price!

  8. We're going late september with Carnival - they were the only cruiseline that departed out of Jacksonville. Only a few hours drive for us so we're saving a lot by not having to fly - we were going to cruise with princess but an 8 hhour drive to ft. Lauderdale was a bit of a downer!

  9. I'm so psyched - in spite of a variety of horror stories I have just book us a long-awaited honey moon cruise in the middle of hurricane season. I'm either incredibly stupid or very frugal.

Either way I'm looking forward to it!!! Anyone been on a cruise recently? How was it?
