My wife recently passed her embassy interview to get her CR1 spousal visa on april 12th 2011, yes there is a interview for that as well as interview for questions at St. Lukes. Her timeline for the whole process was 200 days, i think normal it averages 8-81/2 months. These web sights might help your friend, with what my wife went through and what she used to help her with the process. http://www.visajourn...tion-in-manila/ , http://www.visajourn...ssy-experience/ ,http://www.visajourn...am-wa...

You're welcome. Definitely ask just to make sure though. Most people send only photocopies of certificates to USCIS, but I do believe they send everything submitted to NVC and then NVC sends everything submitted to the foreign country's US embassy or consulate. Hello. We have very close timeline in NVC. I would like to know this - how did you know that AOS and IV packet was entered to the system? In our case, we heard ours that it they received checklist response letter last Mar 8 and Mar 11 but didn't say if those were the AOS and IV packet. Do they mean those documents though?

NVC Update: AOS already in the system and is done! They're now checking IV packet.
