My wife recently passed her embassy interview to get her CR1 spousal visa on april 12th 2011, yes there is a interview for that as well as interview for questions at St. Lukes. Her timeline for the whole process was 200 days, i think normal it averages 8-81/2 months. When your case gets approved at USCIS, they ship the case to NVC. Once your case is complete with NVC, they ship everything to the US embassy or consulate abroad. So you should get all originals back at the time of the interview, including those that were sent to USCIS I believe.

You're welcome. Definitely ask just to make sure though. Most people send only photocopies of certificates to USCIS, but I do believe they send everything submitted to NVC and then NVC sends everything submitted to the foreign country's US embassy or consulate. An operator should be able to verify this or not.

Go to Visa Journey Embassy info for Philippines. I have updated the contact information. You need to have beneificaries passport number, issue date, expiration date, name, email address, phone number, address. USC can then call the phone number even though it is a Texas area code and then it will connect to Embassy in Manila.

You should be able to get interview date scheduled within a few days because the packet should soon be at the embassy.

I don't know why it concerns you so much. We don't rely on AVR too much cause it is late in updating, that's what the operator told us. And also, we got a call from the congress telling us the same thing. So, we didn't bother anymore.

Yeah, I know the AVR is slow to update, but when it does, it's accurate for dates. If I were you, I'd just be curious to know what the official CC date is.
