Yeah, after this visit this weekend, my husband isn't coming back, so no double dating Oh wow, she has to travel far then for the interview. I'm happy I live near Montreal and can just drive the 30ish minutes to the consulate for my interview. How long are you two gonna be in Montreal for?

we will probably be there for 3 weeks to a month, i will be driving up there on the 21st so i can bring her to her medical and were just gonna rent an apartment or something for a month while waiting to goto interview and hopefully pick up visa/passport whatever in montreal so theres plenty of time to meet up

I have never been so excited to be woken up before but at 1:18 am I received an email that my wifes interview is scheduled april 8th at 8 am in Montreal AHHHHH YAY WOOOHOOO so excited I surely wont sleep!

So I was enjoying my slumber only to be awaken by my phone... thinking its spam only to see its from NVC my wife has her interview in Montreal April 8th!!!!! ahhh so excited im shaking! I surely wont be able to sleep.

OMG I was about to get upset at my phone for waking me up but only to find out its an email from NVC stating that I have an interview date April 8 at 8am WOOOHOOOOOOOOO SO EXCITED!!!!!!

DS260 and DS261 (Online Application...NOT EP) are mandatory (for montreal) as stated, documents can be scanned and emailed which is what is consider EP, I did the DS260 and snail mailed in my documents, also received a checklist to do the DS230, if you do just disregard that message unless maybe they finally are capable of distinguishing the difference and that checklist wont occur... just call until you get a "competent" operator at nvc lol. I dont think it has taken me much longer after sending in my documents than those who opted for EP so whichever way is convenient for you guys will work just fine.

Bah, stupid spiels. Once I get a CC, I'm calling every single day as well as calling DOS every day I won't stop till I have an interview date!

hahaha I will start calling DOS after this friday... so I take it no CC yet? have you tried to call AVR then again I assume you are like I was and basically stalked the AVR lol.. I hope I win the bet! actually I hope you do so its sooner lol.

well just called NVC and got the same spiel about our case is complete blah blah interviews only scheduled on following month or the 2nd week of the next month so poo on them I will call again wednesday and friday lol.... is there anyone else who calls as often if not more often? I wonder if they get tired of people just calling to inquire lol. Ravis, did you happen to call DOS?

just curious does the NVC send the package of civil documents to the consulate first and then an interview is scheduled or? Also will the AVR report when the package was sent or interview date? thanks in advance! cant wait i will be calling tomorrow after work just to bug them lol

Nope they gave me the same spiel about interviews scheduled on 2nd week of the month or the following month again I will probably call again Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays until I get a date... I'm so anxious...excited and tired of waiting
