    Dear Saylin,

    Hi, we have DV US visa and  machine-readable immigrant visa (MRIV) with the following text on it: “UPON ENDORSEMENT SERVES AS TEMPORARY I-551 EVIDENCING PERMANENT RESIDENCE FOR 1 YEAR.”on our visa .While we wait on the green card (which might take up to 120 days) we want to visit my sister in Canada(We will be travelling by car). So my question is "will we be able to travel Canada with I-551 stamp (Iranian passport) or do we need a visa to travel to Canada?"

    "If we are able to travel Canada on I-551 stamp then do we need eTA?"
