    You have plenty of time and you are worried for no-real reason. 68 days is a long time. Your fiancee has to plan things little better.

    Physical takes 2 days but that doesnt mean 2 consecutive days. I had the same problem. I gave my physical and returned back. I collected the report day before the interview. Hospital will keep his report safe. Also he can request them to send it to his address by courier but that depends if they will do that or not. I dont think it is correct information that you have to wait 7 days for the result. Generally they give it the next day.

    PCC from the passport office is again looks like a big deal to get but really it isnt provided there are no negative reports. As a matter of fact, PCC from Mumbai is faster than any other place that i know. it takes 1 day to get the PCC from Mumbai.

    I am not sure how you can send Packet 3 to the consulate before receiving the interview letter. I am still confused here.

    The consulate the best way send packet 3 is go in-person to VFS office. Generally they ask to send everything in the packet but if you dont have PCC or medical reports then its OK. They are not going to reject you for that. Just hand it over when you for there for the interview.

    P.S.: it is really hard to believe there is no way to get to Mumbai from his village except train. Seriously?

    It seems there is nothing really going on. If you really wanted to see whats going on, go online and check the card activity. Even if your account was suspended, you will be able to see your card activity. Call customer care and you will be able to get the last transactions on your card. Instead of bragging here and if you really care abt identity theft, go to your bank's local branch and get hold of the manager and see what really is going on. There is no way someone from USCIS would have done something like this. What did you send to USCIS? Credit card statements? Mind that no credit card statement displays full account number. They only display last 4 digits of it so there is something fishy in your story.

    Well, the first 12 months are always tough in a new relationship. Give yourself and your wife some time to settle down. You will be in a better position to make a sound decision if you analyze the things that are creating the problems. You may regret it later if you make the wrong decision in a hurry. May be you both will understand the value of each other in time.

    Cmon people,

    Put yourself in his shoes. May be his english is bad but i am sure he knows that if he gets divorced soon after getting GC, everyone will think that he used his wife for GC. May be he is going thru tough time. Who knows. Why cant we answer his query rather than blaming him based on what we think about his post. If we have nothing better to say then we should keep our mouth shut.

    Since I got the green card the other day hubby and I decided to book our honeymoon! We are going on a cruise in 2 weeks!!! Soooo last minute but so excited :) We have never been on a vacation before unless it was to drive to one of our families for a visit.... WOOHOO

    I read somewhere that if there is no name tag on the mailbox, they wont put green card in it. Did you have any name tag on your mailbox?
