It varies from case to case. AP doesnt have any time limit. Based on my experience (2 time AP), i will say 4 to 6 weeks. Just call them once in a week or 15 days to check the status. Since they have kept the passport, it looks it wont be long wait. No one wants to hold responsibility of holding the passport.

I guess it means your EAD is approved.

Alien number is printed on the Visa with red ink. Also they write it at the back of I-94 at the POE.

AP is stuck in Post Decision Activity stage. Does it never go to Card/Document Production stage like EAD?

They were not online an hour ago. I checked again and it showed up. Even AP is approved now.

Finally today i had my Biometrics done. Still EAD or AP doesnt show up online. Hope to see EAD approved by 15th.

Has he given you the copy of the package? If not then please ask him to give you the exact replica of what he sent. Go thru all the papers and check if he has provided the right information or not.

By now the Lawyer already may have come to know that you are not at all happy with him so its not worth arguing with him over anything.

So sorry to see you going thru all these but just be patient and let the time come when you can strike back at him either by spreading the message or by notifying Bar Council.

You must report this lawyer to the state bar along with all the emails he has sent you. This kind of people has to learn the lesson. They think they are doing us a favor but the fact is we "immigrants" make their living when we pay xxxx USD for doing some stupid paper work. He has lied to you which is good reason to get your money back.

Adjusting from Visitor visa is a different ball game. Intent differs. Most of the ppl here are K-1 holders.

I dont think the person you talk over the phone knows if your Bio letter is dispatched or not. I called on 4th Feb (22 days since NOA1 date) and they said it will take 4 more weeks for me to get my Bio letter. Well, i received my Bio letter on 7th Feb and it was dated 2nd Feb. So technically when i called them, they should have told me that my Bio letter is on the way but did not hear those words. So be little more patient and you will get it soon. Also you are about to reach 1 month deadline so you will have a strong reason to call them.

This doesnt sound any right. I have gone thru the same dilemma as i lived in 4 different states. It was almost impossible to get PCC from all these places. All i did was get 2 PCCs from the place i was living. One from the Office of the Commissioner of Police and one from the Regional Passport Office. Also note that you can apply at the nearest Regional Passport Office for passport PCC as long as you have residential proof. Your passport may have been issued from different place but it doesnt matter.

This is totally based on my personal experience and i was not even asked for Local PCC. All they asked for was PCC issued from the RPO.

They asked me whats the reason. I guess they did not like the reason i gave them. Or may be i was stupid to come up with a lame reason. Well, some more time to wait but slowly getting there

Unsuccessful attempt for walk-in Biometrics at Baltimore.........

Appointment is on March 7th but i am going to try walk-in today at Baltimore office.

Give at least 15 days to appear them online. Many people are not able to see their cases online even after a month (Including me).
