  1. i have a similar issue. kinda... our solution is to get married through they court (civil wedding) then have a wedding in the church when the church finishes all our paperwork.

I am not a catholic and i was married to a non catholic but we will have a catholic wedding so i need to have my first marriage anulled through the church even though i am already divorced, but the process takes on year or up to eighteen months.

so on our first anniversary we will have a church wedding.

but since yours only takes six months you coudl just get married again in six months but to me that would be confusing :) having two anniversaries to rmemeber hehe

  2. Hi guys,

I have just signed up for the forum and can I say how good it feels to see that other people are going as stir crazy as me. We filed our K1 through Vermont, receieved the NOA1 and am awaiting NOA2. We received the NOA1 in beginning of July and im going insane waiting on the NOA2 even though we are still well within 'average time'. It annoys the pants off of me too see that other people gett approved whilst some are still waiting months.

God do they not realise how hard it is to be apart from the one u want to be with!!! Hope im not the only one that feels like they are totally going insane with this stupid process.

Also, I can not see anywhere when i log in to my case to check if its been touched - where abouts is the last updated section/link?

    Thanks guys xxxxx

Touch = last update, c link

  3. My fiance and i have just crossed a year and though we are not finished with the process from what i have read you just need to show that you have an ongoing relationship and that you have met in the last two years.

as long as you talk alot and you keep the chat logs of when you skype or ym and have lots of emails you should be fine.

and also remember this. they ask general questions at the interview that you should know the answers to. would kinda suck to get there and they ask you what his mothers name is and you tell them you dont know :)

  4. We did interview in the morning at USEM, hopped a taxi and went to St. Marys and did CFO same day, No reservations needed.

Thought u needed to have visa in hand to get the stamp? if so, whats the point of doing the seminar if you have to come back to get the stamp?

  5. When the girl arrives in USA, she is usually stuck without car / work / friends for about6 months to a year. Then they realize that in America we make lots of money, but we also have a very high cost of living.

For a USC going to PI, everything is dirt cheap in terms of cost, and unless your a total goob then you will have all the pretty girls in PI wanting you to court them, and you may even think your name is Gwapo since that is what you will hear all the girls call you.

Plus as a USC Male you can have just about any girl in PI that you want

all of this may be true, but unless you are going there to retire or you are rich you still have to find a way to support yourself or you will be just another broke dude in a country where you could maybe get any women you wnted if you were not broke.

  6. I did EXACTLY the same thing and it was denied because i didnt send in the backup. When i applied the first time i wasnt sure so i called USCIS and the person on the phone told me it was ok to send if they need anything they will send me an RFE.

The people you call know nothing. They read from a script and if they dont know the answer they say what they think but they are not the ones processing your paperwork. After reading around i found that they dont have to deny your case and yes they can send you an RFE but most likely they will deny you.

I got denied on June 28th and refiled on July 23rd of this year and I am currently waiting for my NOA2. Dont even bother with an appeal its pointless more time and money than just refiling with all the correct paperwork.

If you call your congress man they can assist you for free if you go into their office with the completed packet, they will look it over for yout to tell you if you are missing anything and then you can send it.

My congressman is rep Meeks and he has someone in his office that takes care of immigration.
