You fill out form I-90 and send it along with the incorrect card to USCIS for a corrected replacement card.
If you have EAD, and it gets close to expiring while waiting for the corrected green-card, schedule an info-pass appointment with documentation about the replacement card order, they will stamp your passport with an I-551 stamp making your passport a temp green-card, and that will allow you to continue to work.

Always remember few indian young men who spend time, money and were very dedicated and had started k3 visa in 1998. they spend almost 3 years to have k3 visa started for every one. they were few young indian men from greater bay area. please remember them in your prayers.

I am a real estate agent in california since 1988. if you buy thru an islamic mortgage company, you will be robbed. stay away from them. with them you will be renter. never be an owner. if you have any common sense, stay away as far from them as you can. they will con you. rob you

it is better to keep this post informative.otherwise it,s going to be only desi post of pakistanis. there is other places you can go for sher o shairee. it,s a no surprise that when desi come, every one runs away. shon is the only non-desi left on this post. if you want your spouses to get visa quickly, you have to write to congressman and senators. they r the only one can help you. always remember those young indians who created k3 visa. they were from bay area (california). i seen them collecting signatures in front of wall mart. that was back in 1999.

We got an RFE at the interview stage for the K-1 for exactly the same thing regarding the birth certificate (my husband is from India too). He submitted school leaving certificates, affidavit from court, and letter from him explaining everything in place of it though and recieved the visa without any further problems. We eventually filed AOS and submitted the same. The EAD and AP have been approved but the AOS is still pending. I'm not anticipating any problems but anyways that's what we did. Hope everything works out for you.

Talk to an indian attorney who does immigration. he will tell you exactly, what is available in india for secondary evidence. i don,t see any problem with your case.

My husband had his medical done in London in June of last year (2005). He didn't receive ANY paperwork from the medical ( except a receipt for the vaccinations ). Now, the AOS interview is July 26, 2006 and we are wondering:
1) How will the civil surgeon's office know which injections he will need for I-693 A?
2) Are WE supposed to bring the blank form ( I-693A) to the civil surgeons office?
3) Will he need another medical, since the medical done in England was within 1 year of us "filing" for AOS/EAD? I think the answer is "no" but am still being cautious.
We have searched the FAQ'S , Guides, and the USCIS website but are still unclear. Any help/advice is appreciated!
Thanks,
Karen

This case has been approved. On May 25, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.
