  1. Thanks for all your replies! We went back to the CS on Wednesday April 18th. We were running late for the appointment my husband wouldn't accompany me because he was so angry and he said he already knew what was gonna happen he'd get arrested coz he'd yell at the staff for insisting I do the medical exam. So my mother-in-law accompanied me instead. Thank God I DID NOT redo my medical exam. All expenses were $70 for the vaccine shots and tb skin test and $100 for transcription and blood work. So what happened was a big misunderstanding. They did not know and understand the process. Just gotta insist on not redoing the exam otherwise they would really rip you off.

    CS info:

    Dr. Teresita Cometa

Myrtle Hilliard Davis Comprehensive Health Centers, Inc.

5471 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive

    St. Louis, MO 63112

    (314) 367-5820

It wasn't a pleasant experience but we're just glad it was done.

  2. My wife and I had to complete the civil surgeon part of the Aos process. We live four hours from Chicago and Two from St. Louis so we chose to go to St. Louis since it was closer we Chose a Filipina doctor since my wife is Filipino. She quoted us a price on the phone of 100 to get this done so we got there and I paid them 100 at the cashier Then she said we needed some vaccinations so i paid 70 for them. Then after that she said we need to redo the exam even though the civil surgeon instructions say if the exam we had has been within a year you do not have too. She said she couldn't finish the transcription because she wasn't the one that did the original exam. She told asked my wife to see the instruction forms which led me to believe she didn't know how to do her job. I took the day off work drove two hours there waited there for five hours then drove two hours back home. This woman told me that we had to come back on wednesday to do the rest. The guy at the desk said in order for us to put this in a sealed envelope would require another 100 dollars. So basically this woman told me it would cost 100 and so far it has cost me 170 plus gas and time from work. If we go back on wednesday it is gonna cost us another 100 just to see the doctor again plus another 100 for the sealed transcription and maybe even another 300 for another medical exam. I would like to file a complaint against this Civil Surgeon because they are either INCOMPETENT or trying to SCAM me either way I knew more about the transcription than they did. Anyone have a number to file a complaint against this scammer/incompetent civil surgeon.

  3. I stayed at Boulevard Mansion Hotel which was less than 5min. walk to the embassy. I stayed there twice for interview and the day I left for the U.S

It's a decent hotel which has spacious room it includes mini kitchen and good wifi in every floor and it's free...

I would recommend this hotel. Room rate was Php 1,650 a night.

    This is their website http://www.mansiongroup.com.ph/boulevard.html

After the interview I was back in hotel room really fast and was online right away and shared the news

  5. Good luck! Just be confident sis, I suggest you make a checklist of all documents and double-check them on the night before your interview then get your beauty rest. The whole process is a breeze and very concise. Smile and don't forget to thank the usem personnel especially your consul :)

  6. My Interview date was on November 2, visa got issued on November 9 from US Embassy email, I'm communicating with 2go through email. I still didn't get tracking number. Hopefully this week I should get it.

I don't call the US Embassy waste of money since it's long distance call for me from Cebu. I send them emails or go online chat with their agents which is what I'm going to do later.

  7. As what the consul said during the America in 3D presentation, they want to know more about you, the applicant rather than reading all the chat logs or scrutinizing the screenshots. Like a job interview, they are just gonna scan your resume but they are gonna ask you to tell them about yourself. So what matters is how you answer the questions and how well you handled it. But then again it never hurts to prepare for those stuff -- just not overdo it i guess.

  8. Thank you guys!!! The wait is worth it... just hang in there....

Congratulations!! If you did not fill up 2go form and they returned your appointment letter, then the embassy know where to send the visa. But the 2go office will use a different tracking number, instead of your mnl case number since you did not fill up 2go form. Congratulations again and soon you will be in your man's arm :)

Thanks sis... Such a huge relief... and i hope you'll be with your man soon too you've waited long enough

Michell and Greg--Many congratulations!! Hurray!! :dancing::dance::dance::dancing: The same thing happened with Inday at window 72: just told her to go home. Visa was delivered OK a couple weeks after interview. Contacted 2go tracking and after providing Inday's last name, 2go gave tracking number (of format A#######F) after 2go picked up visa in Manila for delivery (oen day before actual delivery & Inday lives in central Philippines). --RK

    Thank you for this info...
