Provide the correct answers on the G-325A.. with the correct times and places to avoid future problems.. The question on the G-325A [regarding residence] doesn't require explanation why you lived there.. Answer the questions and avoid extra information not being requested. Be honest, specific and clear.
Ok. So to make it clear, I SHOULD say that I lived in the US for 11 months, and I dont have to put a extra sheet in there to explain why I was there?
-
You're kind of mixing things together - the G-325A is an integral part of the I-129F petition - yes, the petition could get denied if USCIS finds reason to do so (based on the information provided by the petitioner or from their own resources).
So what do you think I should do? Put down on the G-325A that I lived in the USA for 11 months? I was a student on a F1 visa. Do you think its smart to at a extra sheet to explaing that I was a student and not a illegally staying in the US?
-
Doesn't go with the I-129F nor G-325A - it is a Dept. of State form so it is at/near the interview/Embassy stage.
Ok I see. Thanks for making me aware of that. Its something that comes at a later time, near the interview? But can our application be denied because of the G-325A proir of the interview?

I don't think so! I am more worried about my age difference problem. I have heard the age doesn't mean anything to them. All they want to know is that you really will marry her because you love her and not to get the citizenship. It depends on the country as well, how hard the Embassy is etc. Your interview will decide a lot, just make sure to act mature enough.
Let keep the fingers crossed!

The DS-230 for one.
And when are you suppose to fill that out? That doesnt go with the G-325A form, Im I right?

My favorite Mexican food in Tulsa is El Rio Verde, but Chimi's is good too. Best of luck to you with everything, keep us posted!
Sounds great!
@ The Rest
SO I really dont have to worry about the young age (of 21) when we apply and get married at 22?
I really hope so!

That's my hometown as well! Be sure to eat some good barbecue and Mexican food while you're there, and maybe some Hideaway Pizza too... and you're visiting during tornado season, I'm jealous!
That is crazy! When you are talking about mexican food, do you mean Quapo (guess I spelled it right).
Thats the place I had my first date with my girl.
I like tornado season, gives a rush lol

Thanks!
I'm the Finnish girl and he is the USC. He is much older, which is just making this much harder for us. We have just begun to look for information and print the forms, so we aren't yet far at all.
Ok so not send out anything yet either. Good luck with everything.
It would be interesting to hear about couples who where denied a K1 based on age.

Congratulations! I'm a former girl from Oklahoma myself! Have been in New York for a long time now, but usually get back once a year to see family. What city is your fiance from, if it's not rude to ask?
Ofcourse not! She's from Tulsa. I will be in Tulsa in 59 days yeah!

Hello Brian!
I just wanted to tell you not to worry. I am 18 years old and still applying for the K-1. That is young, isn't it
My fiancé is older though. Everybody looks at me like I was crazy when I tell them about my plans. Perhaps I am. However I feel I am old enough for this. We will see.
Good luck with your K-1!
That gives me hope, thank you so much!
How old is your fiance? are you the USC? And how far are you guys in the process?
Srry for all the questions, they just popped up in me!
All the best to you!

There will other places to explain the F1 visa.
You got a example for that? I did not found one so far.
-
So I should just put down the adress of the campus (where I lived for 11 months)?
Because I can not put down that I was there because of a F1 Visa. Or should I ad a extra sheet explaining that I was a student?

Awesome thank you!
Where does USC stand for? (Srry I'm a newby!)

Dear all,
Soon me and my fiance will start the K1 process.
Im looking truw all the forms for all the bugs etc. But I was wondering about G-325A form.
There is a question that asks where you lived the past 5 years.
I was a student on a F1 visa during the schoolyear 2008-2009 and lived in the States.
I didnt sign myself out (of the country) and I didnt register that I lived in the States asomewhere. I was just a student on campus.
I am doubting now if I should enter this on the residensce within the last 5 years or not.
I dont wanna put any thoughts in the mind of the USIC officers that I lived illigally in the US.

Thank you!

1) Yes you are old enough
2) Whether or not they accept your relationship will depend on how well you prepare and how much evidence you provide to establish bonifide relationship at the interview.
For the USC to have the petition approved, you only need to prove that you have meet in person within the past two years.
To get the visa approved you will need to prove and factual and ongoing relationship.
Two separate parts of the process. If you have saved things all along since you met that can be used as evidence then you are well on your way. Keep saving everything.
Your off to a very good start by looking into the requirements now. Read up on on the K-1 guide here and Best Wishes.
Awesome thank you!

Alright that sounds great thank you!
She was here during Chrismas and springbreak. So ready to see her again this summer!!
Are there more (international) couples who apply for a K1 at a young age?
-
Dear Everyone,
During my college year 2008-2009 I fall in love with the love of my life, a girl from Oklahoma.
She visited me twice this year in Holland and I will be leaving to be with her for two months during my schoolbreak this summer.
We are planning to get engaged and start the K1 process. We are both 21 years of age now. After the K1 Process will be finished and we are allowed to get married we both will be 22.
A question that rises is, are we old enough to get a K1 visa? Do they accept our relationship?
She has enough funds to support me financially.
Please let me know,
Thank you.
Brian
