  1. I'm planning to see my fiance (im in the K1 process) during Christmas, new years and my birthday.

I've thought about what to bring and this is what I could get:

    - Proof of enrollment at my university in Amsterdam

    - Letter from my internship that I will start in January

    - Letter from my student-job that I will be back in January

Will this be enough? Because I do not pay rent and don't really have a payment agreement somewhere.

  2. Personally, I was always successfully admitted to the US with just my return ticket. Having letters from your employers should certainly be more than sufficient. Yes there are no guarantees, but in essence: if you have the really bad luck of meeting that one in a million official who won't let you in, then nothing will help. So try not to think/worry about that possibility. There is no need to produce any evidence unless they ask for it. It should however give you peace of mind having it with you.

What airport did you go trw? I heard good stories about Chicago?

  4. I doubt i even have my NOA 1 til then ! But other than that i have more then one reason to go to the states. My Grandmother is Us Citizen and had a ruptured brain aneurism =/ .. It is just normal I wanna go see her..

I dont have a lot of ties, but I try my best, .. and I dont think they actually flag you in the system, .. the stories read and told before never really showed that kinda,..it is what you make out of it :)

I dont think I will have any issue

Im srry to hear that, all the best for you and your grandma.

Let us know how it went at the border. Have a good trip!

  5. Slowly is the problem....... It would be nice to see some touches on any of the september filers cases by the end of the month.

Does anyone know where USCIS are right now on approvals? Anyone seen July filers getting approved.

Also whilst i am here, what do you all think about me adding a, 'last Touched' heading in our table. might be nice to see when peoples cases are getting worked on. Opinions?

I had two touches in September. One on Sept. 23th( prob when my package arrived at VSC out of Dallas) and one Sept. 28th!

  6. I hope this is useful. Anyone of you can reply to this post when someone new comes by or if you need to update your timeline. Just follow the instructions. Good luck, my friends! And, oh, I really hope the RFE section will remain incomplete for all of us.
