  1. Scott - I just changed the address today as I read somewhere that CSC can reject you application if you dont tell them about CHANGE OF ADDRESS. The new house is less than 5 minutes away and I go there often to check on things. So it doesn't matter to me where the mail comes in as long as I get them.

i guess i didnt want the application to get rejected so to be on the safe side i just notified them via online tool. I received my NOA1 on April 6th, so even if the change of address takes 45 days, I dont think i will be getting NOA2 before June which takes me to about 45 days.

Thanks for replying back though. Just hoping that once the case goes to NVC, they dont make me go through the RFE process.

  2. ok so i guess no one know what i should do about the change of address. So i went ahead and just changed my mailing address to the new house so it matches the tax return address. Now the question i have is, would they mind if my pay stub and W2 forms has my old address since i still haven't changed anything.

someone please let me know your thoughts

  3. Hello Everyone. have a quick question and wanted to know what I should do.

I purchased a house last year in september before I submitted my I130/G325A form but I dont really live there currently. I still live at my old resident and have given my old resident address in both the forms. I filled out my tax return for this year with the address of the new house and the question I have is:

    1) Should i change the address online to the new address now since i will be filling out I864 which requires to send the tax returns for the last three years. 2009 tax return has the address for the new house

    or

    2) Leave my old address as is since I am still living at the old place. I haven't changed any of documentation (license, passport, mailing address for credit card bills, job paycheck etc). And in I864, where it says residence address put new address and mailing address put old address?

    Please advise.

    Thanks.

  5. I am new to this forum/website but it hasn't changed the timeline for me yet. Crossing my fingers to make sure it doesn't change and I get the NOA2 sooner than what is shown in the timeline. As for receiving NOA2, i have seen in other forums that people receive NOA2 in less than 80 days. Then there are some who get it after 5 months. I hope we are the lucky ones and get it in less than 80 days.
