I sorta have a feeling all this might take a little longer than expected.
USCIS gives us a 5months timeline but due to all the 2-3months Jan+Feb -Filers it seems we March-Filers are expecting our approvals within 2-3 months also.
I guess I am just not so sure that we will get that lucky.
I agree with you. I think we will have to wait atleast 3 months before we start seeing any approvals for March filers. So starting June 1st week, i think we should start seeing approvals and if we dont, then we are in for the long haul.

Any updates from March filers?
-
wow Teya. They want you to wait for just this minor correction. I dont get it, how long does it take to actually reprint the form out with the correct information.

Hi!
No my case has not been touched at all.
I understand it may take time but got worried since other peoples case was showing the touch where as mine didn't.
Yes I think I need to cut down on the time to talk over the phone.
So is there any paper works which we need to keep ready and what will be my next step?
Let me know.
Thanks for all your opinions.
you should read the following post which will help you prepare for NVC stage.

Alright, kids, I'm off to the airport. Hopefully, I'll have internet at the hotel so I can stay in touch with y'all.
Keep me in your thoughts!
Good luck!!

Ezy - yes that is the problem. you dont qualify for the second option where it says:
I am using only my own earned or retirement income, which is documented using IRS Form W-2.
Since you have a co-sponsor, you were suppose to say NO to this question and fill out I-864.
Thanks
-
Ezy - did you meet all three requirements on the form to use this version?
a. I am the petitioner of the family member sponsored on this form. Yes No (Use I-864).
b. I am using only my own earned or retirement income, which is documented using IRS Form W-2. Yes No (Use I-864).
c. The sponsored immigrant is the only person immigrating based on the underlying visa petition.

why are you expecting a RFE? Did u do something wrong? I know i am going to get one because of my change in address and i didnt send any proofs (pictures, emails etc) with the application. Just send my marriage certificate. didnt know about this website until after i sent it.

It should be you Teya. Its been a while for you so I think it should be you.

They already haven't gone FIFO with March. That is fine with me though b/c my ducks don't even know they exist, let alone that they need to be in a row. .
Hey u guys will definitely get the noa2 before me because my noa1 is dated april2. Got a long way to go before my turn. Atleast not until 80% of march filers get their noa2. I am worried at all it will happen just don't know when.
-
Do you know what those numbers mean? I was 83 last night. I keep moving up but since some ppl never update their time lines so.......I know I won't ever make it to #1.
TeyaValentina - those numbers are just based on the number of people that are registered here and haven't received their NOA2s yet. I agree that you won't be number 1 as a lot of people don't update their timelines. Anyway, the closer you get the better. Don't know if uscis goes fifo (first in first out) way but hope they are.
Hoping May brings happiness to the march filers. Good luck everyone.

# 131 on IGORs List
I am right behind you. 135 on igors list. Doesnt really mean much but guess gives us some guideline.

Hi!
My case was filed on 5th March 2010 and I received the mail for NOA ON 20TH March 2010.
I check my status at this page:
https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do
there has been no movemnet of my status till today(10 May 2010).
I am worried why other peoples case is been touched and mine dosnt show any motion.
Can some one tell me if this is OK?
Am I doing anything wrong that it is not moving further up?
Please inform.
Kapad - no you r not doing anything wrong, I haven't been touched either. The only reason why I have been touched is because of the change in address. So don't worry and just wait for the email or letter. March filers still haven't been sent any approvals. Just a selected couple lucky ones have it.
-
John, do you keep track of the 7 approvals? Does this site keep track? How do you know?
Thank you
The 7 approvals are for people registered on this website only. You can find them by going to igors list and searching for i130 approvals (ir1-cr1).
On the top of this page, you will 'immigration timeline' click on that and then on igors list and search for the appropriate application.
Thanks

another week and hopefully we can start seeing more approvals this week compared to 7 from last week. The sooner they approve Jan & FEb, then sooner March filers will start seeing approvals. Good luck everyone.
-
Only three approvals this week? oh come on let's go here!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like they had a total of 7 approvals this week. Not bad at all. Now I just hope they start finishing up the Feb filers and start March middle of this month
-
I m still waiting too since december 4 i hope we will get it soon
You should start calling them and find out what's going on as the 5 month processing time has passed.
Good luck and wish you get yours soon.
-
Don't look into that too much. We have to just wait and watch right now. They are working on the January and february timeframe. After that it is March filers time. Everyones turn will come.
-
March isn't doing much of anything right now . Feb is what is moving.
Teya - there are another 10 cases open in January and 17 in February. Then 54 in March. All these are on VJ only and there are many many other applications. My NOA1 date is April 2nd. So I have a long long long way to go. Expecting to hear from USCIS by end of July at the earliest.
-
I should have been specific. Teya is right. There is nothing that says touched and it might not mean anything either. At times, USCIS updates the case a lot but they dont make a decision even after that. So its good if you get touched but dont get your hopes too high.
-
Same here, no pool for me either.
By the way, does is say TOUCHED on this screen, see attached? Because mine says nothing except for the NOA1 and I am not sure if I am looking at the right web page.
Good luck everyone.
No that is not touched. When you click my portfolio, there should "LAST UPDATE" when that date changes, then you have been touched.
-
My case was touched (I feel special) only once, back in 29-APR-2010. I hoping someone opened up my file and went like so: "I-130 Check. G325a check. Copy of passport check. So on an so forth. Everything looks good. Let me put it up for now and in one month I'll comeback and put my seal of approval on it"
That would be amazing. Good luck to us Aprilers and rest of you folks.
Good Luck. I hope that it does happen.

I agree with you completely. We have nothing in our hands and if we just keep looking at the timeline, we will drive ourselves insane. So rather than doing that, just talk to your loved one everyday (if u can) and just enjoy the SUMMER weather
-
You're right. At least according to the VJTimeline thing. I won't get to hear anything until middle of July. The sad part is the day keeps going further and further. It was July 9th, not it's July, God knows, 17th, 2010. I wish it would get sooner and sooner. Someone got their ish approved in 35 days.
Yup the VJ timeline will keep changing and in actuality I dont think I will hear before the end of June. However, I am praying that i hear from them by end of this month. As for someone getting their I130 approved in 35days, I know of one that got approved in less than that. I think it was 21 days from NOA1. That person must be the luckiest person on earth. I need that person to share the luck with me

The site is definitely down but could be for standard maintenance. Usually the site doesn't go down if they are updating cases but good luck.
