I oppose the Vuvuzela not because it is cool to do so.
I oppose it because it is incredibly annoying. Where is the ebb and flow of the crowd as the game happens?
The constant drone adds nothing to the atmosphere.
And the fact that the games have been very drab so far just adds to the misery. I can't believe I've spent 28 hours of my life watching the drab, cagey, unadventurous, let's-stay-in-our-half soccer when I could have done other things.
Bring on the league season in August soon! That is so much more exciting.

OK this is what really annoys me. Why is this even relevant?
She has stated she has been faithful to her husband. Anything she did beforehand with anyone (which she has denied by the way) is none of anyone's business.
There is a lot of mudslinging that goes on in these campaigns and there is a group of people out there who are waiting for something, anything to latch onto as a front for their distrust of those who do not look like them.

That it was received on May 12th does not mean it shows up on the operator's computer.
It would likely show up on the operator's computer when it gets looked at by an examiner/reviewer.
But I'm just guessing here.
My suggestion - just be patient and give them a few days.

Thanks Sachi. The point is that the AVR has already been updated and the package HAS been sent, as of May 4th and the NVC rep confirmed that it was in fact mailed on out the 4th, but I didn't see it on DHL. I'm not stressing yet. Like I said, I will verify with the embassy next week.
