  1. HA hahahhaaa she is one busy lady!! Well thanks for the heads up, I learn something new everyday here!! :bonk:

Thanks and here is to that busy lady Supervisor Sue!!!! LOL

Yes me too I learned it in the process. laughing.gif You need to keep and follow-up with operators as soon as the supervisor receive your request she'll not respond to you view e-mail. Only viw mail address, if you expedient request accepted and approved by the supervisor she'll respond to you on the hardcopy letter that will be mail out to you within two weeks.

And then they (NVC) would immediately sent your case to the embassy and they'll notify you so you can contact the embassy directly you need to call OP follow-up with operators.

  2. Good morning all,

I called NVC this morning and gave them my email and hubby's email as well. I also informed them that my case had been expedited at USCIS and that I would like to continue with that thru my NVC process. She told me to write to PI Supervisor Sue! I remember someone posting a sample email asking to expedite the case, I just spent 2 hours looking for it..can't find it :(

Please I do not want to mess this up so in this emai

Provide the applicant's name and date of birth and the petitioner's name and date of birth. and then the reason why I want this to be expedited?

no other information? how about an NVC # etc... I want to get this email out today,

    Thanks everyone,

    Emily

Did u read my post on back to you? thats what I post for you ....link..http://www.visajourn...ost__p__4101148

Before you send your IV and AOS to NVC you need to e-mail to PI Supervisor Sue to request expedite for your case at NVC so that by the time your IV and your AOS get to NVC Supervisor Sue will read your request e-mail. Just in time for you to be in and out from NVC

When writing to NVC, write case number, beneficiary's name and date of birth and petitioner's name and date of birth first in the body of the email. As the subject line: ATTN: PI SUPERVISOR SUE

  4. GOT NVC NUMBER, It was entered into the system on June 30th!! So now I just have to wait till Monday to speak to a "HUMAN" as Darnell says and give them my hubby's e-mail and my e-mail. Teya when I get someone on the phone should I then tell them that my case was expedited at USCIS and want to continue with that with NVC stage?

I got everything ready so I will be finishing up all forms today!! Very happy and thankful to God, for He knows all situations and all is under His control!!

    Emily:)

Just like Darnell told you give your email and your hubby e-mail then tell the NVC OP that your case is expedite, b/c the OP they dont know if your case was expedited from USCIS. before you send your IV and AOS to NVC you need to e-mail to PI Supervisor Sue to request expedite for your case at NVC so that by the time your IV and your AOS get to NVC Supervisor Sue will read your request e-mail. Just in time for you to be in and out from NVC

When writing to NVC, write case number, beneficiary's name and date of birth and petitioner's name and date of birth first in the body of the email. As the subject line: ATTN: PI SUPERVISOR SUE

  5. I'm U.S. citizen and I live in Brazil, since November 2009.

In June 2010 I got married only in religious, not in civil and still like to live in the USA.

What would be the most appropriate visa to apply? The Cr1 or K3?

    Thanks..

    Max and Lilian.

Cr1 is if you legally married. Living together does not qualify as a marriage for immigration purposes but, if you have your civil marriage certificate its real nice to go with CR1 visa.

  6. Welcome to the August 2010 NVC thread  . Join in and ask any questions you have and together we (hopefully people join) should be able to guide you through it.

There is one more business day left in July but after that its off to August and hoping all the March and April Filers start seeing their NOA2s. Again welcome to the thread, Best of LUCK  and hope to see a lot more progress this month.

    good.gif Thank you johndoe12

  7. Hello Friends,

I take immense pleasure in announcing that my wife's visa interview is over and she has been approved.

It was a tough ride for both of us along with our family members as each passing day, we waited for getting back in US.

I would like to take this opportunity and thank Visa Journey forum & its valuable members, who supported, encouraged, helped and guided us in all the possible ways.

Without this forum, it would have found it extremely difficult and agonizing to cross a hurdle.

    regards,

    Mital & Jinal

    congratulations good.gifkicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gif

  8. Wow what a tragic incident happened today in Islamabad, Pakistan. Many of you may have seen the news about pessenger plane crash over there.

After we saw the news, we were so worried and nervous, and scared, ofcourse since my wife had to travel to Islamabad from karachi for her interview today later in the day. Plus it has been raining cats and dogs over there since last several days. So we were not sure whether the airlines will cancel the flights. But they did not and Thanks God she made it to Islamabad safely this evening. Now waiting for interview in next few hours. Keep praying for us.

Many prayers for the family members of those who died and may God give patience to them for loosing there loved ones.

So happy to hear your love one are all ok , Good luck to you!

  9. MY VISA GOT APPROVED!

At 8AM today I got to the American Embassy in Oslo. I was the first in line. A few more people arrived as we waited outside the gate for the approval list for today's interviews.

I was the first one inside. The security went fast, I just put my cell phone and a few items in a box there, and were told to wait inside.

There I spoke to a man, paid the cash fee, spoke to a lady who took my papers, and then I was asked to wait. At this point it was about 8.30AM.

    Congrats!!kicking.gifkicking.gif

  10. sorry guys, got so involved in the rush of things... i'm getting excited. i'm actually hoping they can come some time august.

anyway, pls disregard my previous question on packet 3. i just did a quick search here on VJ and found the info I need.

    thanks

NVC they'll send you a letter with in 4 or 5 days , to tell you that your expedite has accepted at US embassy. Call US embassy and tell them you NVC case # and they'll tell you your interview date too.

  11. need a spotlight on question number 21a.. on ds 230. 21a. Person(s) named in 14 and 19 who will accompany you to the United States now.http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-DS-230.pdf

on question 19 i listed my daughter;s name. and she WILL be coming here with her mother/ my wife / applicant.

SO... do I list my daughter's name in Q.21a...? i am sonfused because she is US citizen by birth, so i didnt file any petition for her, BUT she will be coming here with the applicant. so to prove that she is US citizen...do I submit her us embassy issued bith certificate with my ds-230 package?? so NVC and us consulate will know that my daughter is us citizen and didnt need immigrant visa petition . OR doing this will make things complicated???

friends... whats ur take on this???

    Thanks.

Yes, you need to submit your daughter....

I only send a copy of my baby US passport with DS-230 to NVC

  12. Thanks to All for the good wishes and congratulations... I also had not been touched prior to approval. and was beginning to think I didn't know what they were. Now USCIS has my case updated to reflect the approval on their pg. I hope to have the NVC case # on Monday that's when I will call. Once I get that its off to the Races.:thumbs: Just glad this milestone is behind me... Seems that the USCIS system is now functioning again so be ready fellow Marchers. The horseman cometh...
