Hello dixie7, I am in the same situation but a little different by me being the citizen and him having a temporary conditional card. We have been in the USA since august 6,2010. And my husband has made me file bankruptcy on my home, because he was scared of a few spiders and snakes, i had a house in the.country, nothing was ever good enough.for him, he told me he wanted a big family 10 children...I was happy and agred. In the first 3 months we were in the US I was pregnant and didnt know it, when i found out,I was so happy!!! He pushed me into an abortion,he blamed me, it was my fault I was pregnant, I was outta my mind, i didn't have people near me to tell me what to do. I caught bim cheating online and at school. Enough about me! You dont be gone, come back hire an attorney here, they will know what to file! Where I was going with all of that is there is hope for you!!! I made several reports on him to ice and he filed divorce on me in October 2013, and we even filed the I-751 together in may 2012,we had an interview in July 2012 and after all those things I did, he's still here...So, co.e back finish the divorce!!! On the 23rd of May we received a letter saying CSC has transferred our case to the local office and soon we will get a appointment letter for an interview. They are still requesting for us to bring more EVIDENCE OF A GOOD FAITH MAARRIAGE.

Has anyone else been asked for the same exact thing for your interview?

We both have each others names on each others bank accounts but... His money has always been his money by his choice and he has made my money...my money... by his choice. Also...he had never helped pay any bills until July of last year. I believe these are some of the many things that raised a red flag. We will see what happens next. SIGHHHH......

I was just thinking about something. When responding to the RFE which receipt number do you use the one from the RFE or the one from the NOA for the I-751? I know it's early still but we haven't heard anything and USCIS has not updated the case status.

Gin, you are a Legal Permanent Resident. Nothing about your current documents changes that. Asking for your status on job applications is illegal as well. You only need to show your DL and SSN to work, if you have those things.

I get a little scared when I see other people submitting so much stuff (600 pages?!!!!) cause it makes me feel like I didn't have enough but anyway, I hope the process ends soon and you get your conditions removed.

Talking about that, I submitted my RFE documents mid April and decided to call USCIS on Monday to ask exactly what the heck happens on 5/4 which is the date on my extension letter. I asked the guy if I would be out of status and he laughed like I was talking crazy. He then explained that no, that's not the case as long as you have a pending case, but that I should schedule an INFOpass so I did. And the next one is on May 14th.

So for the real question. I'm in the process of applying for jobs and they ask for status information. What do I say? I don't know how to nicely explain such a long and complicated process in a 10 line email that should have more of a focus on my skills as opposed to how much of a right I have to be here. This is actually being really discouraging as I don't want to be turned down for lack of understanding. Have any of you been on this situation or have any helpful insight? I would really appreciate it.

Don't worry! Everyone's case is unique. When we filed the I-751 we didn't send much evidence with it. So, when the RFE came we had to send in anything and everything to prove Financial co-mingling and Residence evidence which is difficult to do for us because of our unique situation. Sorry! I didn't mean to make you worry! Good Luck!!! Everything will work out fine for you:)

Well...We finally did it...We overnighted about 600 pages and about 250 pictures today...To reply to the RFE...Evidence of a good faith marriage...So, Now we wait...That's gonna be the easy part !!!

We are still gathering documents to respond to the RFE. Hopefully we will send in the packet this week. I believe the mistake we made with the I-751 packet was...we sent in documents from the time we arrived home until now, instead of from the time we married until now. Well...I called USCIS they couldnt find his case so they transferred me to a tier 2 customer service rep. He said...The case is still pending could take 6 to 12 months, an RFE has not been issued but...it dont mean we wont get one, An interview has been requested but has not been scheduled yet. So, thats where we are. Just thought I would share it. Good Luck To Everyone!!! and Congrats to everyone else!!!

Yes there is. My husband had the same issue. USCIS says no longer than 6 months so, he came back in 5 months. To be on the safeside gather any proof you can about her health while you are there also and make sure when you leave and come back through the POE make sure they document it in their computer why your going. When he came home it was like an interrogation for him. Have a safe trip! God bless! I wish your mother well!!!

Hubby had his bio on the 12th. We went thru security had a nice conversation with one officers but they were both nice. Took appt. letter, gc, dl to window they gave him a form to fill out the top only. Basic Info...Ht, Wt, Hair color, Eye color, Country of citizenship, A# and race...which by the way they never have egyptian so, it was unknown we checked lol... and gave him a number 22 and they were servicing number 21 so, not a long wait at all. They called him back for finger prints, and a pic which the guy took it with my hubbys head crooked lol the man asked him do ya like this one? Before he could say anything he said ok your done! All my hubby could think was...It was a terrible picture. That was about it. I hope everyone has a pleasent Biometrics Appointment:-) And Good Luck To ALL!!!

Hi All,

Just wanted to update you that I had my Biometrics Appointment today at 1:00pm Central at Chicago, N. Broadway St. It went really smooth and quick. I reached there at 12:40pm and the receptionist asked me for my ID (I gave my driver license) and the appointment letter. Then she asked me to turn off my cell phones and gave me a form to fill in. I filled in the form and she gave me a number to be called. As soon as I sat on the waiting seats, my number was called and it just took less than 10 mins to have my finger printing and picture. I was done even before 1:00pm Central They didnt ask for or check my conditional Green Card.

I hope i get my 10 years green card soon, Insha Allah. All the best to all.....Regards, S. Umer

Okay, i just read the whole NOA until the very end haha

It says:

"Upon receipt of your ASC appointment notice, you can find the status of your case online at www.uscis.gov."

That is the biometrics notice. So we have to wait for that receipt number and that's why our WAC# isn't working.

the WAC# i got with my NOA doesnt work on the USCIS website i think i need to wait for the number that will come with my biometrics letter

How strange is that! It may take them a bit to actually update the WAC#'s in their system then. I wonder if anyone else has had the same issue???
