    The best thing is to just answer the questions you get asked dont elaborate on the answer but DO NOT LIE....... once you have applied for the K1 you are in the system ( or so I am led to believe) ..... Deff have as much proof with you that you DO NOT intend to stay in the USA on this visit and that you have to return home to work and other such things.......

    My son and I passed through with no probs at all and didn't even have to produce our proof of ties, but I was sure glad I had it with me just in case

    Hey there my sons appointment was on the same day as mine but 5 hours later , When we got there I just showed them both letters and asked if we could be done together they said yes NO problem . I would call the number and explain the situation and ask if you could all get done on the same day , but say you dont mind which date they pick out of the three

    Hey there. My question may sound silly but im getting confused and tired of waiting. My son and I sent our AOS to Texas last year with a receipt date 6th Dec 2005. I got my EAD in March 2006. I keep looking at the dates for processing and Texas and they are now processing Dec 15th 2005. When I check my portfolio they now Don't tell you how long it takes approx in days ( example 180-200 days ).....

    Who should I contact to see what is happening and how much longer should I wait

    Any help would be appreciated :yes:

    I hope it is the case that Wes will soon get his green card........ I think someone is sitting on our case and cant lift their behinds up of it long enough to give us an interview date ....... :angry:

    I keep seeing others who have gone through Atlanta with later dates than us ( 6th Dec 05 ) and have had their interviews and now have the green card in hand ..........

    OK I'm probably jumping the gun and thinking way to far ahead but with the slowness of our AOS interview I was just wondering if I have to apply for a renewal of my EAD card , how long does it take to get a second one issued and do I have to go have biometrics done again . If no biometrics needed what form do I have to fill in and where do I send it .... :help:

    I know I havent posted on here lately as I have quite alot going on but now I am starting to feel a lil down :(

    My son and I sent of our AOS/EAD in Nov 06 they received it Dec 6th . We both had our biometrics done in Atlanta in Feb 06 . I had my EAD approved and received my card Mar 4th 06.

    Since then we have heard NOTHING :angry: about our AOS interview . We live in SC and I am not even sure where we would go for the interview so I cant even check the processing dates ....

    Can anyone help and is anyone else just sitting and twiddling their thumbs like us :unsure:

    My son and I came through Philli on a visit while we were in the process of our K1/K2 visa.... We had no probs at all , but just incase they asked for it I had lots of proof of ties to the UK with me , things like hospital n dental appointments/ letters from work and school showing a return date for us both/ leters from solicitor showing an upcoming court date/ lease on appartment and anything else I could think of :D

    I answered any questions that they asked me . how long were we staying , was it buisiness or pleasure and what was the address we were staying at ..... that was it ..... all the worry for nothing , though I have heard some people have had it rough
