  1. I have one question. Who gave this thread Ritalin? What is everyone busy touching themselves and can't type. That is BS, I type with one hand. This process still is not done. Don't make me put my midget on an east coast bus tour with a new vacuum cleaner. Be careful going to your front door, he could be waiting.

Cum on Lohninck. Some of us still wanted to see you dancing naked. Hehe.

Yeah, I noticed this thread has died down since most everyone has been approved now. Am I gonna have to hang out with March and April filers now just to get a sign of life around here?

I did a very special dance just for Vermont last night.. let's see if the sexy energy will get them moving or not.

  2. Our RFE has still not helped our petition at all. I have Congress involved on the case, whenever they can get motivated to do it, anyway. This is just completely stupid now. I've seen petitions get approved within days of receiving the response and it's almost been a month now. There was a February filer who had an RFE a week after me and they got approved weeks ago. Aughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. My disdain for Vermont is palpable at this point.

  3. First of all. Lohninck, all efforts are directed for your SO's petition. Whether you like it or not, you are the keeper of the midget. Abuse him how you want, but we all hope not for long. What is up with your box?LOL.

Leslie, we have not yet sunk to new lows. Dirty boxes, hobbits, soiled thongs, and some sado masochist devices are being lined up for NVC. It is going to get ugly. Feel free to take some pictures. Keep dancing naked.

Well, I do have a cage that might fit him so he'll be well fed and he can always sleep in the Boom Boom Room.. a walk-in closet we have which is just enough for a twin size mattress for when we have couples over who don't mind sharing a confined space when sleeping. He can use it for now.

My box is probably with someone who decided to go to Florida for a month or so. I hope he or she gets forced back up soon.

  4. It is the start of a new week. Hopefully one that has a lot of approvals like last week. I was happy and excited for everyone. Had a busy but fun weekend myself. I hope that everyone is still dancing. I have come up with a new theme song for me. Billy Idol's "Dancing with myself." LOL. I hope that everyone gets through NVC quickly and on to your consulate. Get out of my way and don't clog up the system. I do know of one person who is going on two weeks and has not made it to NVC. That is way out of the norm for how NVC operates. I hope it is already on the way to the consulate and his case number is in the mail. I hope everyone has a good week and Lohninck needs her NOA2. Cum on VSC.

Indeed I do! It's sad that there are still a bunch of us January filers hanging around. We should be partying it up by now but we're still tense and stressed. I contacted my Congressman's office today and she said they hadn't even worked on my case yet.. all government employees are slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. :bonk: Let's hope for a lot of NOA2s today, we all deserve em.

  5. Still no news on the RFE, but I contacted my local congressman and they have their immigration specialist on the case so.. good news may be soon enough. It sucks that we keep seeing people on VJ's Timeline/Igor's List who applied after us, got RFEs after us, and have been approved way before us.. why is the person who's handling my case sleeping on the job? :(

  6. Even Igor's List knows I should have it soon.. I was never that patient of a person to begin with. 112 days today of sheer impatience and worry and stress. It's part of my job as a woman, and especially as a bride-to-be. I'll give the congressman's office a call tomorrow (or Monday, depending on if they're open on Saturdays) and see what Vicky has to say about this so far. Best of luck to us all.

  7. Lohninck, i should be happy but it is the middle of the road for me with Anna's grand mother being ill. Sure i want you and Poach on the other side of this. For surr i was shocked when it happen. I was thinking it was just a touch. I was in the right box i guess.

    David

Yeah, there are some people that need the NOA2 more than us. I'm not bitter, just a bit jealous and envious, but I am not envious of you and Anna's situation. I hope this will at least shine some light on the situation for you both. You'll be in my thoughts. (L)

  8. Doc, I'll be your huckleberry.

UK, I hope you sail through NVC.

Lohninck, come on girl. We want good news. I'm pulling for you.

Confusing, that is so awesome that you received a quick interview and that you are going to be there for it by sheer luck. Safe travels.

I'm still thinking our interview will be about mid July. Got to get approval, then NVC, then Kyiv. Their interviews are about a month out. I'm actually going to start my cleaning out process and cleaning this weekend. Of course I will never have it up to her standards.

Saw a couple more approvals. The burlesque is working.

Thank you, sex bomb. :P Maybe if you do more dancing VSC will wake up. You can do it! I have faith in you!

    WE'VE BEEN APPROVED!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D

    Congratulations!!

  9. Very informative indeed. I had a feeling they probably worked from home and/or made their own hours. I'm a government employee and I'm told to do the same. I'm actually told to take the work slowly and take my time and I am forbidden to do over 40 hours a week or else I'll get fired, and I certainly work whenever I feel like it's a good day to work. Granted, my line of work is kind of dependent on the weather because I'm mostly outdoors, but still.

I got a letter from my Congressman today saying he would be happy to work on my issue with USCIS right now. They even already assigned an employee to my case. Might finally get good news soon. I hope the rest of you get it the natural way and don't have to bother with Congress like I am.

  10. Congratulations, UK! I'm glad at least one of us got an approval today. I wonder if their site is down if you didn't receive the approval in text/email/site and just got it in the mail? Unless I misread something and it says approved on the site, too. I just got back from a day out with one of my bridesmaids at Six Flags Great Adventure. I faxed a letter to my local congressman this morning and his assistant called me and told me she had to mail me a privacy release form or something, and then the congressman could get down to business for me. So, we're feeling hopeful. At least SOMEONE in the government is recognizing us.

As for how Peter and I met: we met online back in 2002. We were both pretty young back then, we just met in a chatroom (one that I hated and usually didn't go to, but my local one was full, so I settled for this one this one time because I was bored) and he was making fun of people for using improper grammar and all that. I thought it was funny and asked if I could add him to my buddylist and he said sure. We were friends for a while, just talking back and forth, until the summer of 2005 came along and I had a summer job working at a desk/in retail, and since no one else was awake at 8:30 AM except for a Dane, I would talk to him and he'd make me laugh and keep me e-company while I had to deal with customers. In June we started flirting with each other and I remember he sent my phone a text saying "I had strawberries for dessert tonight, they were sweet, but not as sweet as you" on June 25, 2005. I remember I was driving to an ice cream shop with my parents and for some reason that memory is on my mind forever and we made that our unofficial anniversary much later. Unfortunately, he had boarding school, so after summer break I didn't even get to talk to him for 2 weeks at a time because his dorms didn't have WiFi, and it was hard because we were both secretly crushing on each other and it was hard being away from someone both physically and emotionally. In September 2005, he first told me he loved me in a letter (yes, people still write letters these days!) and I was officially head over heels for him. We planned to meet in the summer of 2006 and although I was nervous, and he had never even flown in a plane before, we hit it off immediately and we had our first kiss just after midnight on July 24. That's going to be our wedding date, now, too. We have been visiting each other back and forth, trading summers and Christmases for our respective countries, for almost 5 friggin years, and I haven't seen him since January, probably won't see him until June or July, but it will be worth it. I'm a very jaded, bitter person, but there is no one in this world who makes me as happy as he does. I actually smile and don't mind all the idiots around me when he's near.

That's my story. ;) Let's go for some more NOA2s, please, people!
