The link is about expediting your petition process at USCIS. The case is already at NVC stage, other jurisdiction,  when PD is already current, visa is available and request is to expedite processing at NVC, for CC.

They can't require medical, because it's just not done before CC. I think, it's a general info for every other cases as well, where medical can be provided.

The medical information he needs to supply for an expedite can be submitted at the NVC stage, he would have to supply any medical information concerning himself or an immediate relative to support his request for an expedite.

"If a visa is available for your relative’s category, and their case involves a life or death medical emergency, processing of your case may be expedited. To request a review for expedite, please submit a letter (or statement) to the NVC from a physician (or medical facility). The letter must include the physician’s (or medical facility’s) contact information, and declare a life or death medical emergency exists. This documentation may be in the form of a scanned attachment to an e-mail.

If a visa is not available, unfortunately there is nothing that the NVC can do to expedite the petition. Immigrant visa processing is governed by the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, as amended, which controls availability of visas. There is no provision within the law that would allow the Department of State to issue a visa to someone for whom a visa is unavailable."

  3. It appears that they want the medical documents and any other documents that support would your request for expeditious processing of your petition/application. Basically they are wanting all evidence from you that supports your expedited processing if you decide to request expedited processing.

  4. Went to Houston in December to renew my wife's passport. The Consulate has a new process there that requires you to complete the application online and then schedule an appointment online. The guard would not allow anyone inside the Consulate the day we were there unless the applicant had a completed copy of the new online form and an appointment.

  5. Hello everyone! Been a minute since I have posted anything here. I am here preparing for my stepson's upcoming F2B visa interview. It is nice to see a few familiar posters are still around to help people with this process.

  6. German authorities reportedly believe that more than 1,200 women were sexually assaulted across the country on New Year’s Eve and that more than 2,000 men were allegedly involved.

The German newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung and other German broadcasters published a leaked police document Sunday that shed some light on the details surrounding the mass sex crimes, according to The Washington Post. Authorities believe that at least 600 of the sex assaults occurred in Cologne and 400 occurred in Hamburg.

Only 120 suspects, most of them foreign nationals, have been identified in the mass sex crimes. The Post reported that a 21-year-old Iraqi man and a 26-year-old Algerian man were given suspended one-year sentences. A court spokesman said both men arrived in Germany within the last two years.

One official told the German paper that the mass sex crimes were a result of the refugee crisis.

"There is a connection between the emergence of this phenomenon and the rapid migration in 2015," Holger Münch, president of the German Federal Crime Police Office, said.

He also said he doesn’t think most of the suspected attackers will ever be convicted. The Post noted that Germany doesn’t have a lot of CCTV cameras installed in its major cities.

"We have to presume that many of those crimes will never be fully investigated,” Münch added.

Last week, German lawmakers passed a bill that will make it easier for victims of sex crimes to file criminal complaints if they rejected their attacker’s advances with a clear “no.”

German law previously required victims to show that they physically resisted attack before charges for rape and other sexual assaults could be brought. Women's rights campaigners argued that Germany's failure to recognize the principle of "no means no" was one of the main reasons for low reporting and conviction rates for rape in the country.

According to figures cited by Heiko Maas, the country's justice minister, only one in 10 rapes in Germany is reported and just 8 percent of rape trials result in convictions.

    http://www.foxnews.com/world/2016/07/11/more-than-2000-men-reportedly-sexually-assaulted-1200-german-women-on-new-years-eve.html

What did the German officials expect to happen? The officials knew full well what type of culture many of these refugees came from!

  7. I think the police decided that the robot bomb was the cheapest and safest method to use since the gunman made claims of planting IEDs. Robots are used by almost all bomb squads to find and defuse/destroy bombs, they just consolidated their tasks and used the tool that solved both problems given the fact that the gunman could have been wearing an explosive vest himself.

  8. MOMBASA, Kenya – A Kenyan court on Thursday upheld the use of ####### examinations to determine a suspect's sexual orientation, dismissing the argument that the procedure amounts to torture and degrading treatment.

There was no violation of rights or the law, Mombasa High Court Judge Mathew Emukule said.

"I find no violation of human dignity, right to privacy and right to freedom of the petitioners," he said.

Two men had sought a court ruling to stop enforced ####### examinations and HIV tests of men accused of being gay after they were subjected to the procedures.

The two were arrested in a bar near Ukunda along Kenya's Indian Ocean coast in February 2015 on suspicion of engaging in gay sex, which is a criminal offense in Kenya. They still face the charges and, if convicted, could face 14 years in jail.

In their petition, the men said the ####### examinations and HIV and hepatitis B tests they were forced to have amounted to being subjected to torture and degrading treatment.

The judge said the petitioners should have used their lawyers to seek injunction orders to avoid undergoing the tests.

"I sat in court holding my chin in disbelief," said Eric Gitari, the executive director of the Kenyan National Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission, which has supported the petition. He said the men will appeal.

"It's so painful when we are trying to encourage the gay community to go to court to affirm their rights; the courts are instead affirming violation of their rights," Gitari said.

The court judgment means that someone can be arrested on a rumor that they are gay and subjected to these tests, he said. "Do we want to use the nation's scarce resources on this?"

Could someone please explain to me how an ####### probe can determine sexuality?

  9. The Pentagon on Thursday denied a claim made earlier in the day by an ISIS-aligned news agency alleging fighters from the Islamic State terror group were responsible for the death of an American military officer in Turkey.

ISIS’ Amaq Agency cited sources reporting a “covert unit…managed to assassinate an American officer.” But officials said the assertion was baseless.

“[The U.S.-led coalition against ISIS] can confirm that ISIL did not cause the death of a U.S. service member in Turkey,” U.S. European Command Spokesman LTC David Westover told Fox News. “We have no reports of any Americans killed in Adana, Turkey, by ISIL.”

Amaq didn’t name the person ISIS allegedly killed, but said, “the operation took place Monday in the officer’s home.” They said the announcement was delayed to “ensure the safety of the covert unit which conducted the operation.”

An American fire chief at Turkey’s Incirlik Air Base was killed at his home in Adana on Monday; however, Thaddeus Borowicz’s death was accidental, officials said.

The 61-year-old Michigan native allegedly locked himself out of his apartment and tried entering the residence via a 10th floor window by swinging from an electric cable tied to a chimney. But the wire apparently snapped and Borowicz fell into his courtyard and died from the impact. His body was found by a coworker after Borowicz did not report for work.

    Westover called Borowicz’s death “tragic.”

I am finally convinced that the US government assumes most citizens are retarded and will believe any line that they throw out there. This article resembles some of the stories about ISSI throwing gay people off buildings!

  10. The newly elected mayor of London's call for a ban on public ads that show scantily clad women has critics complaining the move has more to do with his Muslim roots than his concerns about "body-shaming."

Sadiq Khan, who became the city's first Muslim mayor in May, called for a ban on ads showing women in bikinis in a letter published in the Guardian, saying images such as the controversial "Beach Body Ready" one used by Protein World send a harmful message.

"As the father of two teenage girls, I am extremely concerned about this kind of advertising which can demean people, particularly women, and make them ashamed of their bodies," Khan wrote. "It is high time it came to an end."

The city's mass transit system, Transport for London, will create an "Advertising Steering Group" in conjunction with the advertising companies to ensure that on buses and subways "reflect London's diversity," according to the mayor's office.

The move is not sitting well with critics who believe it is an accommodation to Muslim sensibilities. In strict Islamic society, women are supposed to dress "modestly," which can mean anything from a head scarf to a full burka with only eye slits.

"Muslim mayor banned ads with bikini-clad women on TFL. Stand by for adverts for burkinis," tweeted Daily Mail columnist Katie Hopkins, a fierce critic of the increasing influence of fundamentalist Islam on British culture.

Others tweeted that the mayor should also ban ads regarding erectile dysfunction and even weight loss products if he is serious about ensuring ads don't offend the general public.

Critics have long claimed that ultra-thin models put unrealistic expectations on girls and women, but others say ads like Protein World's simply show healthy people and, in fact, send a positive message.

    http://www.foxnews.com/world/2016/06/14/london-mayor-bans-tube-ads-that-promote-unhealthy-body-image.html?intcmp=hplnws

Looks like he is getting right to work! Will not be long before the dress code enforcers start patrolling the subways harassing women they feel are improperly dressed.

  11. There is outrage after Chicago police shot and killed a 16-year-old boy.

In Homan Square on Monday night, police pulled over a car that was connected to an earlier shooting. Police say Pierre Loury jumped out and an officer chased him.

Police say Loury then pointed a weapon at the officer and that is when he was shot. But a witness claims he saw officers "high five" each other after the teen was gunned down.

And now, protesters are demanding justice. A group held a vigil at the scene of the shooting and then marched onto the Eisenhower.

    pierre-loury_1460517319412_1177776_ver1.

Even though the facts of this case are still far from clear, there are those on the side of Loury who claim this was not a justified shooting, despite what police say that he pointed a gun at an officer, and that the gun was recovered at the scene.

It threatened to turn ugly Tuesday night as protesters loudly and angrily confronted police in front of the station where the officers involved in the chase and shooting work. Police managed to keep order and move the protesters down the street.

Earlier, several hundred people marched down the alley to the spot where Loury was shot and killed as he ran from a police stop a block away.

“We do believe that this individual turned and pointed the handgun at the officer the handgun was recovered at the scene where the young man was shot,” said 1st Deputy Supt. John Escalante.

Police radio transmissions captured the intensity of the moment, and a neighbor facing the alley posted a video on Facebook of the scene shortly after the chaotic moment.

Loury’s mother, overcome with emotion, joined the vigil as supporters chanted against police and in support of Loury.

“They gunned down one of our brothers, they executed him. 16 years old. 16 years old. He should be here right now,” one person said at the vigil.

Police say Loury was a documented gang member. He posted a picture of himself holding a handgun on his Facebook page. People who knew him, though, did not think he would have been carrying a gun Monday night.

    http://www.fox32chicago.com/news/local/121528082-story

I did not know it was against gang code to carry a gun on Mondays! Funny how you got witnesses out the ying yang when a cop shoots a gang member, but you have to pass braille cards to potential witnesses if it was gang related street crimes.

  13. French President Francois Hollande’s comments this week in Washington about Islamic terrorism -- a term President Obama won’t use -- were omitted from an official White House video.

Holland made the comments at an international summit in Washington on nuclear security that also focused largely on global terrorism.

“We are also making sure that between Europe and the United States there can be a very high level coordination. But we’re also well aware that the roots of terrorism, Islamist terrorism, is in Syria and in Iraq. We therefore have to act both in Syria and in Iraq, and this is what we’re doing within the framework of the coalition. …” Hollande said following a meeting at the summit between his and Obama’s top officials.

However, an audio gap occurs in the original White House video where the French-to-English translator would have said: “Islamist terrorism, is in Syria and in Iraq. We therefore have to act both in Syria and in Iraq, and this is what we’re doing within the framework of the coalition.”

The gap was reported first by the Media Research Center, a conservative-leaning government watchdog group.

Republicans and others have been highly critical of Obama, and Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton, for not saying the words “Islamic terrorism” when talking about the Islamic State terror group, which has claimed responsibility for the recent, deadly bombing attacks in Paris and Brussels.

“For seven years, President Obama, and Hillary Clinton and this administration have been sound bound up by political correctness that they have refused to acknowledge what is it is we are fighting, refused to even name it,” GOP presidential candidate Texas Sen. Ted Cruz told FoxNew on Sunday.

“After every one of these attacks, the president does a national TV conference where he refuses to say the words ‘radical Islamic terrorism.’ Instead he lectures Americans on Islamophobia. Well, enough is enough.”

The White House told several news outlets on Friday the audio gap was the result of a "technical issue" not an attempt to scrub or censor Hollande’s comments and that an updated video with the complete audio was posted on WhiteHouse.gov soon after the problem was recognized.

Officials also said the official transcript posted on the website always included the dropped sentences.

Obama has said that he will not use the words “radical Islamic terrorists” because they legitimize the efforts of the Islamic State, to which he refers to as ISIS.

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/04/02/hollandes-islamist-terrorism-omitted-from-white-house-vid-technical-error-blamed.html

Do not worry, once he is out of office and assumes his new role as leader of the Muslim Brotherhood all these little pieces will fall in place!
