Hi Wakey..Yes girl VJ is great

  3. Lady C, I have a question. Since I know you guys recently moved. Did you change your address and info or did your hubby get his EAD card before you all moved?

We changed Den's address online and also mailed in the form. I also changed mine since they require any sponsor on the I-864 to change their address within a certain time period. I'm starting to worry if they have Den's current address. I tried to call this morning but they told me it could take up to 45 days for an address change.... Now I'm going  cause I don't want things to be held up over an address. We did everything we were suppose to do to change our address and let them know.

Dens G got his card the day before we moved. I have since changed his address but I did not chance mine. Im about to go do that now too.

  4. Just wanted to stop by quick and say thanks to Tee and KJ for coming to NYC. Hubby and I had a great time with you and your husbands( cousin and hubby too). Wish we could have hung out longer KJ. The yardie link up was the highlight of our trip. Hubby HATED NYC, just too many people (and none on island time) for him. Tee you deserved to get drunk after all the walking old botox rass made us do looking for a liquor store. Dallas BBQ really was a great choice and now I'm wishing I had tried the cornbread.

Glad to see Dada and Mrs Palmer had a likkle yardie link up. Aren't they the best??

Nat- From my experience Zillow is just whack. Hope you can get into that neighborhood though.

Brooke did you guys just stay in the city? Brooklyn is the best (I grew up there). My hubby loves New York. We will be there this weekend.

  5. Well the school called me back while I was taking care of the car business and now they aint calling me back mad.gif

The car issue is a dyaam mess, my brother hit the back of his car because the fukka couldn't decide if he was getting off the exit or staying on 95 mad.gif and if my brother swerved he would have ended up in a dyaam ditch. My son was in the car too.

Insurance company trying to figure out who is at fault. The other guys was charged.. Its a friggin messmad.gif Im very angry right now... mad.gif

    Good night

awww Tee...I hope this all works out for you. I see drivers do this shyt all the time. I know you angry I would be a smoking gun by now. Link me if you want vent.

  8. Here is the letter to the school district superintendent: (yall knew it was coming, lol)

    Dear Mr. Ignatuk:

I am writing this email to you regarding my daughter Kayana Guerrant. I have tried to reach Assistant Principal Maiers on two occasion. Once leaving him a voicemail on Thursday, May 20th and again today only to be told he wasn't in the office. I am frustrated. On Friday, May 14th a teacher by name of Mrs. Morriston confiscated my daughter's cell phone. I understand that the regulations are that cell phones are not to be used in school. According to my daughter, (and I'd be more than willing to address this with Mrs. Morriston), she was taking her cell phone from one pocket and putting it into another. Mrs. Morriston confiscated her phone or she was to be suspended for three days. That is fine with me. If my child is wrong she's wrong, but the fact that now the phone is missing when it was supposed to be returned to her and nobody seems to be calling me back and giving me a STRAIGHT answer about the phone is leaving me very frustrated and irate. I don't have the time nor energy to argue about the phone. I have two choices in this matter. 1. Someone needs to return my child's phone to me personally or 2. The school needs to compensate me for a new phone. While the phone is not in use, I still have a bill to pay on it every month. It is not fair to me that the school lost her phone. I am willing to pursue this further if need be.

I am awaiting your response to this email. Thank you for your time.

    Mrs. Guerrant-Gardner

Parent of Kayana Guerrant - 9th grader

  9. Hi just wanted to ask but has your husband just maybe taking him out one on one and asking him what problems he is facing. I came to the US from Barbados and it was tough at that age going to school and the kids are cruel and make fun of your accent and other stuff so maybe he could be having issues elsewhere that he is channeling at you guys. My husband wanted to wait awhile to bring his daughter and I told him no the younger the better she will adapt. Just my thought.

We have sat him down and spoke to him and he says he is fine. He did not start school as yet so there is no school kids picking on him. The kids he do go around are all Jamaicans and sounds just like him. I came from Guyana when I ws 13 so I know how it can be too but this is diffrent
