Thanks for your advise you guys! Also, if she needs to file separate I-130 for her husband and daugther, does that mean that she needs to send payment for each (US$355.00 x 2)? And if that the case, then does that mean that everything will cost double? I was under the impression that because her daugther is a child (16) she would be able to immigrate with her father's petition.

I spoke with them yesterday , ds230 looks fine , they still reviewing i864 ( cuz i had rfe on that)

I am wondering but I'd like to believe we will have an interview soon coz I called up NVC today and I asked the lady when can we have an interview, she put me on hold and when she got back she told me, they are scheduling me for next month and I will call back on Friday to check on it. Is this real? I hope they are not giving me false hopes... Anyone who experienced a reply from NVC but didn't push through? Your replies will be highly appreciated.

I just called the NVC and they informed me that they have processed the affidavit of support and didn't find any issues. And they received the DS-230 on November 5th and to allow 2-6 weeks for processing.

Based on the information we got looks like we are going to get our interview date schedule for February.

Happy to hear you didnt have any issues. wow so long February hmmm just sit and wait for us huh

She came in october of 08. She filed taxes for that year and also 2009. We should be okay in that area.

I called the NVC and the automated system is saying that they received the check error list from me and to allow 4-6 weeks for processing. I'm going to call again tonight to speak with an agent to see if they have process the i864.

I t happend to have the same to me . I called on the 11/2 and they told me that they send out an email with checklist error ( missing docs from me). on Saturday 11/6 i recevied thru email the checklist error list but in the mean time i called again on sinday and they said (on automatic services) that they recived the checklist error . so weird becuase the checklist with missing docs im mailing today so i thought they must receive ds230 thats why.

To Eddymvp :check your email maybe they send out an email with checklist of missing docs.Just wanna ask you again had your mom do taxes in usa ever? i forgot to include a explanation letter and they needed so im mailing that today.

i am 25 years old and have F2B category and my priority date is 03,OCT,2005 my priority date should be current anytime soon, i have been recieving papers from NVC lately and i have sent all forms (DS3032,230 AND AOS) i have few questions if someone can help me please:-

1-How do i know my AOS got accepted?

2-How long do i still need to wait after NVC has recieved my DS230 form with civil documents?

3-Can everyone share his/her experience with the NVC?

BEst thing is calling their automatic service, to check up to what nvc is at. did you pay IV $404? did status changed to Paid ?

did she file an i864 and attach a letter explaining why she didn't submit 2009 taxes? as the sponsor, she has to submit an i864. you would submit another i864 as joint sponsor, or the i864A if you live at the same house with her as household member.

I don't think they are asking about your tax submitted, but your mom's.

Thats what a thought its only request for her . yeah i didnt include a explanation letter telling them that she became LPR on dec 20.09.

Im in hold on the phone with NVC just to double check ( i think they just need that letter written from her.

Can you please help me with this RFe abou i 864 . I did submit 2009 return taxes as well and they say that they didn't receive them . Also my mom become LPR on December2009 and she didnt file taxes for 2009 and that checked the box that she have to provide them with 2009 taxes.

Mom is LPR and she is a petittion for her son 12years old (my brother)F2A category.

i called up already ms. heart and it looks like it isn't updated yet coz it says there there are documents still missing but I already submitted 3 weeks ago, i saw in your timeline that your visa is complete after 3 weeks of mailing the docs in nvc? how i wish it would be that fast to on ours...

Maybe they will send you an email with an RFE , maybe something is missing on you ds230 package. try to speak with live operator what exactly they need so you can mailed to them, Hope the procedure will be faster. Thanks, god luck and update then

hi ms. nela, thanks for that. i am really having a hard time calling NVC Hotline, It's so frustrating. But do you have any idea if i can check online if the papers I passed are already complete and ready for mailing to US Embassy mla?

The only thing i will suggest you try to logg in nvc web(same web where you paid the visa fee)and check if you can logg if not than it means that your case is about to complete. usually after you mail ds230 it take couple of weeks for the case to be complete. try after 10pm or 78 am to call nvc.

Anyone who has an idea how will I know if my visa documents status is complete? We mailed our ds-230 including the civil documents last Oct.11,2010. How will I know if it is being mailed here in U.S. embassy Mla? How long do we have to wait for our interview? Our priority date is apr2008. You gonna get an email from nvc center telling you when the interview will take place. you also can check on their automatic service over the phone too or speak with live person 7am till 12 midnigh.
