  1. Hello!

I was about to go crazy thinking in the new form lack of space as well ahahaha. I was everywhere and have to say USCIS care about legibility so as long as you can do a good handwriting no problem doing that this way.

My issue was my city name was very long but i was lucky because i found out that the official name of my city was changed 3 years ago to a shorten way so i hadn't this problem anymore but i did handwrite just one thing (the name of my province) with a very fine black pen and trying to do same letters as typing kind letters.

At first i was about to use this form. Is an improved version of the G-325A someone from VJ could decode and change the font. So using that you can do more things typing. I paste the link of the post in case can be helpful for you.

    Good luck!

  2. Thank you for all the replies.

Regarding one reply that says something about if he has been through an USCIS process... I really don't know how USCIS did 21 years ago what i know is that as soon as they were in USA (the family was sponsorized) the kids (my fiance between them) were US citizens and the parents were naturalized but with the time my fiance parents get to be US citizens as well.

He told me after all what we read he decided not to put any number there in the form since he's attaching his US citizen certificate, passport etc. (I'm not sure if he called USCIS or not for that but i told him thousand times to call so probably he did)

Thanks to all of you. We're about to send the package next week so the countdown will start officially :)

    God bless

  3. on his certificate of citizenship he has two number...one number is on top right hand corner in red ink which starts with an "A"...then underneath it has INS Registration No. and it starts with an "A" as well. So is the INS Registration No his A#? and the Number in red ink on the top right that starts with an "A" is his certificate of citizenship number?

  4. Hello everybody!

My fiance and I are reviewing the whole package before sending.

My fiance was born in Vietnam and lived there with his family (all of them vietnamese) for 7 first years of his life. Then his family was sponsorized and their life in the US started.

His parents had naturalization and my fiance and his brothers had the citizenship so he has his citizenship certificate. The question is...since he has a citizenship so he is US CITIZEN certificate, does he have an A# ? (for the I-129F and G-325A forms)

    Thank you all!!!

    God bless

  5. Hello!

My fiance has to send the package we put together but he talked to me about now the G325A number of copies changed and they just need one instead four, as all of you know.

I know have been many topics about it but we just want to make sure...

    1) It's ok with just one copy of the G325A or they will need 4?

2)Someone tried successfully sending just one copy after USCIS announced that change?

Thank you to everybody once again!

    God bless

  6. I'm curious about this post and went to USCIS website to research. Last update is 11/30/2009 and can't read nothing saying alien with K1 visa holder can't apply for the form

Actually in the instructions name as elegible for I-765 Family - based nonimmigrant categories (K1 in that category) says you can file within 90 days from the date of entry but cannot be renewed after that one the following must be based on the AOS.

I don't really know about it since i just started with my K1 process but hopefully the information i can research can help others somehow and i check that for my future as well...

That's what says in USCIS site in the I-765 form instructions. Now i don't know if they need to update that and USCIS hasn't yet or what.

    God bless

  7. Hello!

My fiance will be visiting me in summer and he was wondering if he HAS TO attend to my interview (that hopefully will be around summer). I told him almost sure that not that some people go with their fiances for the interview to support.

I thought that triple ask it doesn't hurt... anyone thinks that if he isn't there for the interview could be bad for an approval or as i heard it doesn't matter if he's there or not.

Nothing that we're worrying too much just curious to know.

    Thanks to everybody! :)

  8. Yes after all i read and very good guides and advices in VJ is very important the original signature (not scanned) handwritten with black ink...I'm starting with the filling of the K1 but i will send the G325A, passport pictures, etc to my fiance via post mail (then up to you and your wife to send it express or certificated).

So she has to date it as well whenever she fills and prints out the form

    Good luck!

  9. Thanks so much again!

Let me ask you a 3rd and last question...

My fiancee already wrote None in the A-file number (he used the one you can download in the guide or in USCIS so if you write none stays like that). Should he redo that typing 000-000-000or it's ok?

    Thank you in advance!

  10. Thank you!

In the improved version where it says A- (file) upper right corner and bottom right corner or SS number. When i want to write None it changes to 000-000-000. If i leave it blank and then handwrite the None it's ok right?

At first i was kinda paranoic with the improved version because this statement in the form:

Penalties: Severe penalties are provided by law for knowingly and willfully falsifying or concealing a material fact.

which i think isn't applicable to just a change of font since the form still the same.

So yes, i think i will used the improved. Please let me know if you have idea if handwriting the None in A- (file number) or SS number would be ok

Hopefully you had a nice start of 2010!

  11. Hello everybody!

My head is about to explode because i do a big deal of everything and start thinking about all possible choices.

My fiance just filled his G325A (the new one exp. 11/06/2011) for him was no problem everything fits.

But for me it's crazy...half of things don't fit... i wrote a topic about i didn't have space enough and i received lots of kind answers (people that just handwrote the whole thing, others linked me to an improved version that Stephen + Elisa uploaded to VJ forum etc...)

I'm kinda doubting to use the improved version 11/06/2011 because the font would be different of my fiance's form (he filled the original we can find in the guide or uscis website) or maybe i just should type whatever fits and if not handwrite what doesn't fit...IDK

I've been reading in USCIS that prior versions could be used (i guess i could use the exp. 05/31/09 then) but i don't know if it's ok that my fiance use the 11/06/2011 version and i use the 05/31/09.

    Some advices?

    Thank youuu

  12. Hi everybody!

We just started with the filing...

I have a question about the fiance letter of intent:

In the example (K1 guide in VJ website) i could read that first of all in red says (petitioner's/beneficiary address) so do i just have to write my address with no indication like for example:

    FIANCE LETTER OF INTENT

Street an number: Arc de sant marti , 17 2A

Zip code, city and province: 07011 , Palma de Mallorca (Illes Balears)

    Country: Spain

And right after the next step would be writing the following:

United States Department of Homeland Security

    U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

Is that ok? Is ok that i specify what is the street, zip code etc or just write it like in a letter? should i b saying it's my address first of all (before writing the whole thing)

Then i guess that the date of the signature etc.

I guess i use there as well my first last name (i have two since i'm spanish) like in G325 A form and I-129F form because i specify my two last names in the cover letter?

I know there are lots of questions...Thank you for your help!!!

    Juana

  13. I was naive enough to fill all 4 by hand, it never crossed my mind to make copies of the one and then sign all lol , that is too much work and not needed <_< ( i did buy a very fine black pen so that i didn't leave any blotches)

I did not fill it out on the computer because it was going to look like a letter soup, not even the birthdates fit properly on mm/dd/yyyy that was crazy, my parents and husband's place of birth too long also. I couldn't figure on the pc how to change font sizes so I just said F this! and did it by hand :jest:

** By the way when you are doing the I-129f use Black ink as per instructions**

Hahahahahahaha funny bout the F this! Thank you for the answer. Merry xtmas

If you read the form (most forms that is) - it specifically states to use all caps for last names (easier to pick them out I suppose). So - if it says to do that - do it.

Black ink is always preferred - it retains legibility after copying. (blue tends to "fade" as the generation increases) - While in the Navy - you were only to use black ink for anything "official" - so I carried on doing that.

I haven't seen any apps kicked back for using blue ink though.

You could put "see attached sheet" or just fill in as much as you can - they are smart enough to see the attached sheet (That's what I did - I didn't write "see attached sheet" and didn't have any issues)

Thank you for the advices they're very useful...I think that everybody try to thousand check every single detail since all of us want our visa process goes fine. Merry xtmas!

Thanks to all other answers as well! :)

  14. No issues if it is legible. (handwritten) - make one master sheet and copy it.

You should only use all CAPS when your typing the last name.

    Use black ink.

Dates should be in this format (mm/dd/yyyy)

I would recommend using a supplemental sheet (with the form, question, and answer noted) - can't get much neater than a computer printout. (make four copies - one for each sheet)

Yes, i will do that tho...that will be lots of things in the attached but yes, will be much neater with the computer printout. I will write see attached in the gap (is that ok?). No need to use caps for the last name if i do that on computer right?

By the way...about the ink...for the signature what would be better black ink or blue ink (since it has to be original)

Thank you for your answer :)

  15. Hahahahaha i feel you i am through the same question...it's ridiculous how little space is in there!

In my topic i guess what's working more is do the attached paper thing (if it helps) i think i will do that as well because is worse leave incomplete names that could be confusing for who's reading that or whatever...i'm pretty sure everybody knows how picky they are with these kind of stuff.

    Good luck then!

  16. I left it blank and wrote it in, both for birthdates and those Thai addresses that are about 300 characters long

What about months in employment stuff etc? did you write them with numbers or just the characters u could? like jan (for january), feb, mar, etc...

I'm sorry i ask you again but yeh if it worked for you i will do with the words i hadn't space enough leave it blank in the form and write it in the attached paper as u did but i was wondering how u did with the month thing as well.

    Thank you again :)
