You have good evidence. You do not need affidavits (they are only required if you have very less financial and residential proofs).

I would also suggest including Health insurance together (if you have). And life insurance and beneficiaries. If any of you have any investment plans then include that with beneficiary as each other.

Some more pointers (More important than pictures for sure)

1. IDs for both of you showing same address (Driver's license etc official IDs)

2. Health insurance together if you have

3. life insurance and beneficiaries information.

4. Since you don't have a lease / mortgage affidavit from your parents that you guys are living under their roof.

5. Joint Car Insurance.

I've the following docs. last time when i submitted the I-751 - we did not had the child born also I did not gave them the full bank statements from the last 2yrs & lease for last 2 yrs . so now I'm adding everything .let me know if anything needs to be added . Thank you .

1.birth certificate of child born to us.

2.car insurance -with both names.

3.Taxes from last 2 yrs.

4.Bank statements & letter from bank from more than two yrs.

5.Lease from more than 2yrs.

6.401k -with wife stating as a Beneficiary.

7.Affidavits of support from family & friend.

8.trip to India --tickets.

9.copy of marriage certificate .

10.copy of GC + passport .

11. Copy of Driver's license showing the same address for both of you.

12. Health Insurance cards copy

13. Life Insurance beneficiary

14. Car's registration showing your address / or DMV renewal

You can skip the marriage certificate, they already have that.

Send anything that shows your address together. Or anything that shows your finances, residence etc together.

Safe route i am assuming you already have a 10 year GC, wait for the 5 year from the date of your first GC and apply for Citizenship.

Even with attorney you would have to devote the same amount of time which you would have to do to get the information on your own. And either way attorney can not magically produce your documents that you have to produce yourself.

Also you have already made one good start by starting on Visa Journey.

I would suggest you to start with VJ guide for AOS from tourist visa, and then go to USCIS website download all the related forms and their instructions (whether you hire an attorney or do on your own you have to understand this anyways). Give it two days read and understand and may be fill the forms as a test. Where you have doubt ask on VJ and see if you can do it on your own.

If then you think you can't do it on your own hire an attorney. Good luck

We sent pictures with our 751 application but we had not sent any with AOS, of course we took a lot of pictures with us for the interview for AOS. So if they need pictures they would ask, but pictures are not important.

And of course we mailed in copies of our Identity Documents.

We also sent in a few cards/invites that our family and friends addressed to both of us, but we doubt these would make much difference, because they can be faked easily.

So, we're planning to send them everything we sent originally, including updated car insurance, bank account and credit card statements.

In addition, we want to add:

- Copy of our lease agreement issued in both our names

- A letter from our property leasing agent dated Sep 11 to verify a change or our rental rate

- Copy of our Sep 11 electricity bill issued in both our names

- Ed's new benefits plan with Cindy listed as the primary beneficiary

- More pics of us this summer

- Copies of our joint US tax return and state tax return for 2009

Your initial evidence was fine except for the fact you guys did not send your joint residence proof. You should submit everything again and more but make sure you submit the joint residence proof. Also you can send some bills copy in either of your names but on which the address shows your same residence address. Sending 2009/2010 tax returns is also a good idea as you had not sent for 2009 earlier.

If you don't want any complications you should rather wait 9 months or so and go the right route. Since you are already engaged and if after marriage she comes here on a tourist visa and then you file I-130 the intent would be to immigrate on a tourist visa which is a serious problem. There could be serious problems in your application and could result in denial of her 130/AOS.

Similar if not same was in my case. Sometimes the IO need to review and confirm the decision that they are making. And of course my card was ordered for production on the date of the interview itself but I was not told or Welcomed to US kind of stuff or any kind of indication that the interview has been a success at the time of the interview.

The 2 year review is the Removal of Conditions VJ has tons of info on that subject.

You can add your case when you receive your biometrics appointment letter. There is a case number in that letter you can use to add to your portfolio.
