  1. Hi everybody

i have some question related to I-130.

    1. insection C. INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR ALIEN RELATIVE---WHAT I HAVE TO WRITE OVER HERE.i am applying for my parents so i have to file seperate petition for them so if i start with my mom's petition what i have to write in above section.

    2. question 22. yes i am applying for AOS for my parents so what i have to write in city and state. my city and state or something else?

i am sorry i am asking somany questions.

Section C: Information about your alien relative

Q 17. For your mom, mention your father's name as husband

    your name as daughter

    others if more kids

Q 18. Give the address (your address most likely)

Q 19. Your mom address in India

Q 20. Write in your native alphabet

    Q 21. N/A

Q 22. If your mom is already in US, find the nearest USCIS office and write in the first City State that office city and state.

If your mom is in India, then put N/A in the first city and state, in the second City and State write the US Embassy city and state where she would get the visa

    Good Luck!

  2. Thanx all again for your answers, I guess I had an overdose of paperwork these days... The petitioner (my wife) is the "first/main" sponsor. Everything is much clearer now.

    - My wife should be the petitioner (filling the I-864 for me and checking the first item as the petitioner) and she does not need to prove her status/citizenship since she did it before throught the K1 process.- My MIL is then a joint sponsor, and she needs to prove her citizenship while filling the I-864.

    is this should be ok?

The USC spouse needs to provide their proof of citizenship along with their I-864 as well. This petition is entirely separate from the K1 petition. Follow the form instructions to make sure that all is done correctly.

A photocopy of California Driving License or passport would be enough for my wife and MIL?

Photocopy of passport for MIL as proof of citizenship. Or birth certificate (citizen by birth) Or citizenship certificate (naturalized citizen). State issued driving licenses are not proof of citizenship for USCIS

  3. my wife planing to come to USA.

does it require to obatin income tax clearance certificate for those people who are traveling abrod parmanently(green card)? please advice

    thanks,

i have heard that at time of boarding at Ahmedaba airport, officer asks for income tax clearance certificate is it true?

When I was travelling I did get one although they never asked about it. But if she is going for the first time and if she is going to be abroad permanently you should get one just in case. If you would go to the ITO they would give it to you without much FUSS. It is a standard procedure and does not take much time as well.

  4. OK guys this is what i would like to know did anyone use binders or fasteners or paper clips? How did you assemble your I-130? I heard about pictures in plastic bags and names written on the back in pencil, no pictures, pictures i mean WOW :bonk: HHELLPP?? I have only i few days before this thing goes to the USCIS lock box

I followed some of the advice posted on Visa Journey. I also followed the guidelines from USCIS. I used plastic bags and labels on the plastic bags for pictures. No Staples in my application, I filed 130, 485, 765 together. I had a cover letter listing the items enclosed in the application, and I put the items in that order and put a paper clip for each set of forms. Hope this helps
