My case was finally upgraded today to Immediate relative status...... Now I can officially join the Team NVC. Worried myself sick over the last few weeks on why it was taking so long. Next step Choice of agent :-)

I'm waiting for my ride to the airport now....I went online and my first fllight to NYC is delayed 30 mins. Darn it!!!! They better not make me miss my flight to CAIRO or I will be one p/o'd woman!!!!

hello everyone!!! Was trying to read the old post since last 2 days but it seems like i have to read a lot! Still finalizing all the papers that we will bring tomorrow in the US embassy! Husband arrive 3:45 am MNL time so spent the whole time today in the mall to shop for something for the interview!! We are hoping for a good news tomorrow and to those can still read this, we need your prayers!

To all my VJ friends with almost the same timeline, thanks so much, MQ, Andrea, Abbie, Myracle, Osen, MsSheka, Sachinky, JustJ, Malrothien, christeen, and to all who helped me a lot with the USCIS and NVC process. THANK YOU SO MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

An 3 DAYS!!!

Well I started tonight but I know there will alot more added to it in the next couple of nights...HONESTLY if my husband would stop asking me to bring things...I could get it all in one suitcase!!! But then, having an empty suitcase coming back home...that would just leave room for more souveniers!!!

I just got off the phone with NVC.

Has anyone ever heard of a petition going through "ADDITIONAL PROCESSING" at NVC before they have even recieved their DS-3032?

I'm sooooo f-in mad right now...

No other information wsa given to me about what to expect as far as timeline - just to give it a week or two and call back.

I just got off the phone with the NVC operator. They said we were not assigned a March interview because the interviewing consulate was at capacity for interviews in March.

I don't know what it really means, but I guess it just means we have to wait another month.

Lol what mistake did they make? They put my hubbys place of birth as Jordan when its not, they said thats what they system says, but she said it no big deal anyways.

they put my hubby's DOB under the POB and the DOB was blank the POB was a mile away from the actual spot where it should be

Ok is NVC spamming me I just got a second interview letter but i noticed they made a tiny mistake on the first one i'm wondering if thats why they resent it

Ms. Sheka for some reason it seems like the K1 visas take longer...probably just in my head...but Sam & Rasta had their interview the same time as Den and I and their Visa was ready in like 3 days...then just like Bunz said hers was ready around the time ours was and we had our interview like 2 weeks before she did...just plan on it being about 2 weeks to be on the safe side but I bet you will have it within a matter of days! Den went to Kingston to pick his up as well.

Thanks Bunz I was wondering if it makes a difference if its picked up in Kingston or Mobay...our interview is on a Friday and I'm leaving on Thursday my hubby wants to leave with me

we did our interview friday and it was ready for pickup the following tuesday evening

but they seem to do this thing in batches, because dens had her interview like a week before ours and hers wasn't ready till around the same time as mine

i would safely say within 2 weeks
