  1. Funny you asked, I was just looking at people's timelines on here and I didn't see not one person who's visa took 2 weeks or more. I'm about to lose it if I don't get any news by tomorrow. Jamaica had ONE holiday, ONE and that one day to them seemed like one week. Damn, give it up already. TAMH, AMQUEEN and myself had our interview the same week, TAMH got hers 4 business days later, it's been 9 business days and NOTHING!!! Damn I thought I was done stressing after NOA2 :-(

Rant Over, thanks for asking and I will post as soon as I hear something.

stay positivem1228.gif at least you have your APPROVAL  i think Dens took a while too i remember people interviewed after her and got theirs before her so don't sweat its coming i pray you get it tomorrowt0803.gif

  2. MsS--Yes, a photocopy of his US passport. I'll get a copy of the 2009 W2s.

Ok, so if my joint sponsor's wife does fill out a I864A--what will she need? The joint tax stuff have already been sent in--so her W2s, proof of citizenship and their marriage certificate? Anything else? I'd like no other hiccups.

Husband has gone through his package and has a copy of everything should the RFE be on his end.

Joint sponsor is unwilling to preempt it and wants the email RFE before he fills any forms or gets any documents.

actually the wife would not fill anything out unless she is co-sponsoring you guys as well but your co-sponsor would fill out the I-864A if he is a part of your SO household and he has to make sure that he counts his wife as a part of his household a lot of time people miss count  and its normal for them to want proof that it is needed because most of the time they don't really understand the process and or they don't have the same sense of urgency as you would but i would call NVC tomorrow to see what they need and hopefully its a false RFE  also there are time when everything's right but NVC lost something

    Hi everyone,

Should I go ahead and send my 864 tomorrow even though I haven't heard anything about 3032 yet?? I know they're on seperate flows - but seems like most people are sending the 864 and 230 together?? I am sponsoring my husband - no co-sponsor and have everything ready to go (after I get a final check from you guys!! :) ) . so send it tomorrow???

I would not send anything until they request it it will throw you in limbo

  3. People--I need help. So far, this is the list of possible RFEs, I've come up with. I'm trying to cover all possible bases this weekend so we can send it out as soon as the RFE email comes in on Monday.

    1) My husband filled his initial I-864 according to his 2008 taxes. He's been working at a new job from last September so his employment letter states a different income amount. Which is the amount that he should use for his current annual income on the I-864?

    2) My joint sponsor sent a photo of his USC passport as proof of citizenship. Shouldn't this be enough or would they ALSO want a copy of his certificate of naturalization?

    3) My joint sponsor files taxes jointly as he is married but is way, way above the guidelines on his own for his household size so he used the individual amount on his W2. He also stated this on his cover letter saying that the income used is his own solely as evidenced by his W2 so he didn't attach a I864-A from his spouse. Maybe they didn't understand this and RFEd because they saw different incomes on the tax return and the I864?

    4) We didn't use W2s for 2009.

Any ideas/tips/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

 photo copy right? and i would send 2009 w2

  4. My wife is about to email the DS-3032, currently she has the completed signed form attached to the email and has included the form letter (from the wiki) in the body of the email. Is this okay to do? Or should the body of the email just say "please find attached the completed and signed Choice of Address and Agent form."?

    Please advise.

    Thanks.

sure! you don't even have to attach the form but both are fine :thumbs:

  7. Good afternoon, everyone! Cases are still giving us all ulcers, yes? No worries. Case complete and interview dates are coming very soon.

Here's what I have so far for the AOS Package:

    Cover Letter

    I-864 - Co-Sponsor

    I-864A - Co-Sponsor's Hubby

2009 Return and W2s from Co-Sponsor and Hubby

Since our co-sponsor makes plenty above the poverty guidelines, we can just go with the 2009 return, right?

    And for the IV Package:

    Cover Letter

    DS-230

    Passport

    Birth Certificate

MIL's Affidavit re: my relationship with her son

    Hubby's Affidavit re: our relationship

    Divorce Decree from previous marriage

    PCC Thailand

PCC Study Abroad for a year

What else should be included? I want to be done with NVC by Spring Break so I can enjoy it with my son.

looks good  but guys do not send NVC anything they did not ask for (trust me it can cause a nightmare  ) this will cause delays and you don't want to try too hard save all the info on your relationship for the interview because thats the only time it may be needed  don't forget you have already submitted enough proof of your relationship to USCIS in order to get to the NVC stage in other words if more proof was needed USCIS would have sent you a RFE so just keep it simple and you will have a smooth NVC journey
