did u get the RFE? what evidence did u send ..can i scan both ids and show his has a same address as mine ..also our insurance has both names on it so i will scan the latest one showing both names

I have two questions, I would really appreciate if somebody could help me...

When they say that we have to file ROC within the 90 day period, you don't have to file exactly when you hit those 90 days before it expires? I`ve read that we cant file earlier than the 90 day period

Second question, will this evidence be enough? and if it is not enough, do i have to explain why i don't have the rest?

-Tax transcripts showing that we file our taxes together

-Letter from the bank stating that we have an account together

-Car Insurance on both names

-Car title on both names

- airplane tickets showing the same flight everything from our vacation in 2012 and this year 2013, when we went to visit his parents. i will probably scan all the passport pages with the stamps showing that we have entered and left US on the same date...

-pictures ( i know they dont want too many)

we dont really pay any other bills since we live in the same house as my parents. no rent, no utility expenses and so on.

My family friends petitioned for their married son in 2002, March. They still did not bring him here and their case is in California. Is there anything that can be done? This is a very long time... when they petitioned their son and daughter-in-law had 1 child but now he has 3, one that was born in 2003, and one in 2006.

my cousin has a girlfriend in Serbia, and he wants to bring her to United States but she has daughter from another marriage???

He wants to marry her in Serbia.. and obviously bring her and her daughter here....

How can he file documents to bring his girlfriend and her daughter????

did u fly overseas or locally ..? i heard their flights were delayed in 2008-2009 when they were in the financial crisis..our Boeing is A330-200 and i heard that's supposed the new plane? well not a new plane but like renovated or smthing like that but i am not sure if thats only in new york or everywhere.. well i hope its gnna be okay =) as long as i land safely i mean people sometimes expect too much from them to be perfect you know..

well this was such a stress relief to read all these positive comments..we already booked our tickets with Alitalia got them for 898 reallly rlly cheap comparing to Lufthansa 1512.00$$..united ettcc... i looked up some reviews online before i posted this and everyone was just complaining how their luggage never arrived ...canceled flights all the time.. never on time ...ripped seats ..bla bla bla horrible service but it freaked me out cuz ppl were complaining about same things.thanks for the feedback

I DID TRYYY TO REGISTER ONLINE BUT THAN IT TOOK ME TO A PAGE WHERE IT SAYS THAT HE IS ALREADY REGISTERED )) and it said to WRITE DOWN SELECTIVE SERVICE NUMBER AND DATE OF REGISTRATION TO KEEP IT FOR RECORDS.. i do not remember doing this probably they do it now automatically??? he never got that little piece of paper that my brother got in the mail stating his number and date of reg. but thanks for the help

hi everyone i was just helping my brother fill out his citizenship and we came along a question for SELECTIVE SERVICE, he did register, he was able to answer all the question but my HUSBAND who came here on a fiance visa last year never got that little card to register and i never knew about this and ofc my brother forgot all about that....

-is it too late to register now?

Me and my husband are planning to visit back home.. i usually flew with Lufthansa for the past 5 years chicago to germany n from germany to belgrade...and i had a great experience and i used to get their tickets for like 800$ from Chicago to Belgrade that is REALLY CHEAP comparing to now.. now tickets from chicago to belgrade with Lufthansa are 1600 almost per one passanger ..double the price :SSS .. i called one of the travel agencies in Chicago and they offered me some new PROMOTIONAL DEAL with Alitalia Airlines from Chicago to Rome from Rome to Belgrade...ii know i might sound really weird ..its not really comfortable for me to fly with a airline that nobody knows anything about except that they were in a huge financial crisis and used to cancel bunch of flights because of their strikes.. i really want to know if any of you flew with Alitalia airline. .i would really appreciate some commments =)))

my husband received his green card yesterday in the mail, pretty exciting it was worth the stress haha it took only 58 days from the filling date i couldn't believe it

because i thought it was gnna take about 4 months ..we did not have an interview tho it was transferred to california right away btw congratz to those of you that got it... good luck to those that are still waiting...

he didnt receive his EAD card tho but i think thats what green card is for because on the paperwork it states that if he applies for a job just to show the green card.. i dnno i just thought that EAD was gnna be a seperate card maybe it was like that before???

he asked ONCE thats why i said he feels stupid to keep asking because again .. sorry maybe i didnt word it good...dnno ive been reading around and all ive gotten from it was that he has no other choice except to marry her... i dnt want to mess with their lives but if they love each other and if she wants him to stay thats their only choice if not obviously he has to go back home... shes the main reason why he stayed ...

one of my friends came here on a student visa and he was allowed to work or something like that i am not sure.. his visa expired but he still wants to stay here and go to school.. is it possible to extend his visa or anything if its expired.. he is going out with a us citizen and she is not willing to marry him because she thinks he just wants to use her but he loves her and he feels stupid to keep asking..

there is a question that i came across in I-485 form on PART 1 and towards the bottom of page 1 there is question "CURRENT USCIS STATUS' what should my husband put if his i-94 expired? .. and than there is a question "EXPIRES ON" ... i-94 or the visa that was given overseas in the passport???

Yeah from what im seeing its Chicago Lockbox because in the instructions it says adjustment of status should be sent to chicago lockbox if any of the categories apply to me.. and we filed K-1 n its one of the categories for Chicago Lockbox.. thank u

we will be sending my husband's AOS paperwork tomorrow. They are asking for MY proof of citizenship, i will be sending in my naturalization certificate, is it okay if its still in my maiden last name??? My state ID is with my new last name, same as my Social security card..

also from what ive read on here we are from Illinois, Chicago ..we should mail the AOS Package to the Chicago lock box? whats the best way to send it ..express??? or some other kind??

i think you will just have to call around if you dont want to take the risk.again good luck. ... like ive said we ended up repeating it paid only 150..$ i mean its not that much ive seen people pay like 400$ if i was you i wld just call around untill you find the price that might be reasonable... i was on the phone for like 2 hrs trying to find a CS... and i can tell you ive called BUNCHHHHH of them i cant even think how many ..n ive noticed that they wont do the transfer so i gave up and choose the cheapest one..thee problem with them is that they ARE NOTTT willing to sign someone else's job.... haha nd all they were accepting is CASH

i am gathering all our documents for the AOS.. and my husband had to visit a civil surgeon and did his medical exam here too ..my question is they gave us the sealed envelope with i guess probably I-693 form in there .. and gave me an additional I-693 form ....so for the medical proof do i only send that sealed envelope or do i send the sealed envelope and the additional I-693 form she gave me.?

My husband came here also on a K-1 visa and has done his medical exam overseas in Bosnia and paid around 300 dollars.. and even though it says that who ever has done medical exam overseas and because its valid for one year the immigrant does not have to repeat it. Unfortunately, they say that but not one civil surgeon in Chicago who i called wanted to just fill it out they actually want you to repeat it...even though i BROught them the instructions and point it out where it says that medical exam done overseas is valid for 1 year and does not have to be repeated..they read it n still said IT HAS TO BE REPEATED I AM JUST FOLLOWING MY ORDERS.. we ended up doing that and they charged us 150$,.. thats the cheapest that ive found..ive seen ppl paying 300$..400$..and so on..no joke.. we had to pay again...

does my joint sponsor need employment letter, if she has 3 past years of tax transcripts with the pretty consistent salary around 34,000...????

or is the employment letter only if you dont have tax returns??? i dont see it anywhere in the instructions???

would it be a problem if my joint sponsor's transcripts are on her old address??

in case thats a problem can it be changed over the phone if we call IRS ??

me and my husband used my brother as a co-sponsor (I-134) when he had an interview overseas to obtain the fiance visa....

would it be ok if i used another joint sponsor now for adjustment of status (AOS).....would it cause any complications because we used him and now we are using someone else
