I was just reading so so so many forums regarding your concern ( as well as mine). To make my story short, some people did have issues at the airport WHEN making a connection to United States BUT it was due to poorly trained employees.DONT PANIC! In case you come across one of those employees, just explain what that letter is all about. If they dont believe you, one of the VJ members said tell them that you will hold them responsible you have to fight for your rights sounds funny but it worked for her..obviously don`t start arguing and threatening them way too much many times they will still have to call their manager, or whoever it is...and that person is well-trained.. I just read one forum where one of the airline employees was giving this lady a hard time when she was traveling on a extension letter, had to call his manager, ..his manager showed up and as soon as he saw the letter he just said yea they`re fine .. and let them go right away... hope that helps!!

We got an rfe recently on March 17th (ROC) and sent it to them on March 25Th... For those of you that have experienced something like this during your ROC process. How long did it take them to make a decision

Yea when i called their 1800 # that was on RFE LETTER. Whoever i spoke to she was like our records show only that they received my petition but nothing bout RFE. I guess whoever is working on our cases didnt bother to update. Please let me know whenever u receive something from them. It will be helpful for all of us waiting for that rfe response!

We have sent our RFE package through USPS. We first went to fedex, I totally forgot they dont deliver to P.O Boxes im keeping my fingers crossed that it gets approved before we go on our vacation June 18. The only thing I am afraid of is that we dont hear anything from them before we go and than we get an interview date while we are in Europe..

i think it depends on each case. I have seen people get approved in couple of days, some take 2-3-4 weeks..months to get approval ( my biggest fear).

From everything I've read and heard, USCIS is looking for substance over form. They are not going to count up the number of documents and say "OK, you have enough" or "No you don't."

You will not be the first couple with a challenging financial/educational/living situation they've seen.

The main thing would be to prove that you've lived at the same address and shared the same bank accounts. It might be helpful to put a copy of your brother's lease or deed to his house, and (if not otherwise obvious) some proof that he is your brother (just that his last name is the same as your maiden name should be enough). It sounds like your husband is working "on the books" and has appropriate W-2's, and those should have his/your address.

You shouldn't have a problem traveling. You have 87 days to reply to the RFE, which puts you close to your departure date. It will take them a little while to process it. His green card will be valid during the trip. Unless you are going to be gone so long that they could call you to an interview and miss it while you're gone - you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

You might want to wait to reply to the RFE until close to the deadline, to delay the process until after your trip. Although I know you'd probably really really like to get it over with!

You made me feel a bit better! I have been out of my mind last couple of days. Not because I am scared, because I am still wondering if this is enough evidence. Hopefully, they will respond before we go. We are traveling on June 18. I am sending these papers either tomorrow or Friday!, which will be March 20-21. They have until June 18! almost most 3 months. I called USCIS yesterday, 1-800 number. No help... this lady told me to get a lawyer. I feel like people like VJs should work on those lines!! .They can come to our home and search if they wish to do so. In no case will i ever get a lawyer..it would make me upset that I`m paying to prove my marriage when it`s for love and not papers. Sorry, it just threw me off when she told me this...

Anyways, this is what I am sending and it`s final. This is all I was able to get I cant wait any longer I am probably going to explode!

- I will have my brother type up a letter, stating that we live in his home & that he does not hold us responsible for any type of bills from rent to a simple phone bill. We will get his letter notarized, include a copy of his ID . and an old copy of my previous US passport with my maiden name on it. Haha this is the only document that has my maiden name. its old though, its de-activated since they sent me a new passport with my husbands last name

- I will provide them with a print out from facebook showing we have 335 friends, highlight that it has a married status. We are both on this one page and have been ever since 2008! i have provided them with my facebook page in previous processes, such as first petition to come to US, AOS as well.. I mean it never changed.

- Gym memberships: They put us on two different forms but BOTH forms have the same time/date/ credit card info/ address when we signed up. So they were charging both of us from one account.

- I will provide them again with my husbands W-2s. Including also a complete copy of 2013 tax return ( incl W2s). The W-2s show that my husband works for my brother.. It shows my brothers name on there and under his corporation name

- As I have mentioned we even booked a flight in June 18. There is only airline e-ticket WITH both names on it. I will copy it for them!

- Again, no health insurance policies due to high costs .I am a student and i have it through school :/ which is again covered by my student loans? I cant add him again it costs a lot for us at this stage. I am not a full-time employee.. and my husband works for my brother, and this job does not offer any benefits..

- my husband is not on my student loans, I only have him on my FAFSA. i am not sure how to print this thing out showing that he is on my fafsa. Maybe I can ask my school to confirm that type up a letter on Thursday of this week. I`ll go to the financial office

- I have gone back to my bank yesterday, I can`t access statements from 2011. She was only able to get them through 2012. past two years. However, she did type up a letter stating that my husband and I have a joint account since July of 2011!!!

- I have gone to my auto state farm agent, he also typed up a letter stating that we both own one insurance together since 2011

- I will provide them with one more addtional letter from us explaining why we do not have health insurance and some of those listed

- I will provide them with another letter from a family friend, who was a co-sponsor during my husbands AOS process! i think she would be great in this case. Its a big risk somebody could take to be your co-sponsor and she is not even a relative. She is my best friend`s mother! she mentioned in the letter that she was his co-sponsor during AOS, and she did this for us because she BELIEVES in our marriage. Its a big risk for somebody to take

THIS IS IT! You can kill me, cut my head off but i have nothing else. PLUS we sent so much stuff before too i can`t wait any longer.. i cant provide them with something i dont have ((( such as health insurance policies, loans ( i am a student for gods sake, interest would be 29.99%). I have a strong feeling this sent me all this because I have missed ONE question the most important question on the I-751 application..martial status, i left it blank. but i provided them with the date when we got married. !! however, i have gone back to my computer AND ITS THERE its checked off. I have gone to my other computer, ( yes i saved it on two) and it`s there! i dont understand .. I am not trying to defend myself but its seriously there checked off ? .. anyways let me know guys what you think :/

I was in the same boat as you are, and still am unfortunately. I am not done with school yet, we recently applied for removal of conditions ( which a lot of people have to do after living in US for 2 years?) They are now asking for more evidence BECAUSE we do not have enough financial evidence, because we live with my parents and dont pay anything untill I am done with school and ready to move out. . I actually just had my brother as a co-signer. Maybe you parents would be the best bet, somebody in your household. I did not have any problems... I was earning but only like 8,000 a year which was nowhere near what they were asking for ... you can mention it but they are looking at it NOW, not your future...hope that helps

I submitted hubby's I751 on October 14 and received the dreaded blue paper -- an RFE on February 19. Im confident that I submitted all needed documents, I'm just trying to get a sense of processing time with the RFE. Has one else received an RFE? How long did you (or have you been) wait for the next step or response.

Same here, we got it yesterday! what are they asking for ??? they want more evidence from us its driving me nuts! and dont even bother calling that number on the blue paper because they did not help me at all! they have no idea.. she told me to go find an attorney ? seriously? is it necessary...i would understand i need an attorney if my marriage is for immigration purposes. I believe i have sent them so much stuff what did you guys decide to send?????

--Another thing is that my husband does not have health insurance as of right now due to high costs. He works for my brother... and my brother is an electrician, i have insurance through school ( should i explain that) but it costs sooo much too add him...when he has to go to a doctor, he usually goes to a clinic by our house thats really cheap its for ppl with no insurance.. Super onda cu to da uradim.

I objasnicu im zasto nemamo drugih racuna, tu smo kod mog brata dok ja ne zavrsim skolu.. ne znam vise stvarno .bacilo me je skroz u neku nervozu... najgore sto treba da idemo tamo ali ne znam koliko je sigurno da se putuje sa onaj extension letter sto se dobije...

Mi smo imali car insurance everything title, ali smo prodali to auto prije mjesec dana zbog velike potrosnje goriva ... ali nikad nisam odkazala insurance samo sam ga zaledila da ne dolaze racuni bzvz ...dok ne kupimo drugo auto. I dalje imamo account with state farm.. jedino da odem u state farm kod svog agenta i da mi napise da imamo i dan danas account with them with both names on it...

Bojim se da im nece biti to sumnjivo... imamo mi jos jedno auto nisam jbt bez auta ...ali to auto je na mom bratu zato sto ga mi nismo mogli dobiti na kredit to mi nece pomoci ni malo..

da li moraju taj affidavit da notiraju? ili obicno da napisu samo

Did any of you have any experience traveling while ROC is in progress? On our first NOA it states that he got an extension for one year to travel...

I am so scared guys i dont know what to do its making me sick!!... we paid for our tickets so much hoping everything will be fine. The only reason why we bought them early is because we got them for a cheaper price..

Is there a way I can have them process it express or somethinggg that i can do ?

Skoro smo predali za REMOVING OF CONDITIONAL STATUS ( ROC) October 18. Nazalost, dobili smo RFE.

Na tom pismu pise, the conditional permanent resident filed a form i751 with our office, The CPR provided some evidence of martial bona fides. However, the documentation submitted is insufficient because it does not cover the whole time period of the marriage and does not provide the evidence to make a final decision. See below for specific information

I onda ima sve kao i ovde ...IMAJU TWo bullet points..jedan je za EVIDENCE OF GOOD faith marriage a drugi je INCOMPLETE PETITION APPLICATION...

Evidence of good faith marriage:

• copies of insurance policies ( koje sam ja vec poslala) .
• copies of bank statements,, i to sam poslala i od svake godine sam poslala po neki statement od 2011 do 2013. Cak sam i pismo od mog personal banker poslala gde je napisao da imamo i dan danas account together
• Copies of rental- mi nemamo to posto zivimo u istoj kuci kao i moj brat...to im jedino nisam poslala. Jedino sto sad mogu je da moj brat napise pismo da zivimo zajedno u jednoj kuci zato sto ja jos idem u skolu, i on hoce da smo tu dok god ja ne zavrsim faks.... tako da mi nemamo rental and utility bills.pa sam mislila da se to odnese notaru..

Provide a letter from my brother stating that we live under the same household and that he works for him as well since 2011 when he became a 2 yr resident. Ill have a statement from my school that i am still a student and all my fafsa and emergency contact i have him in there. Ill provide our most recent airline tickets that are scheduled on June 18th

Bad news! I am sorry my forum may be confusing but I am really stressed out. I dont know what to do now

I recently asked how long it will take to get this green card, because we bought tickets to go visit my husbands parents.:/

However, today I got an notice "Request for Evidence". The letter is so confusing! It has list of all evidence of good faith marriage and another part is INCOMPLETE application :'( i accidentally missed to check off one of the boxes for martial status. I feel so dumb, i dont know how i skipped that or if it was my computer acting dumb. They included a copy of this page ... however they also had allllllllll this along with that "evidence of good marriage".

I just got an RFE for removing of conditional status. It really stressed me out.. I dont know where my head is right now!! ( we bought tickets to go see his parents as well on June 18!!! We filed October 18, 2013!

My husband applied for his second green card on October 18, 2013 (California Service Center). We bought out tickets to go visit his parents in June. When they sent us receipt notice that they received our paperwork, it says that t his old GC has been extended for one year but only for travel and something else. We`re hoping it will arrive before we leave it`s scary to travel on the old one, how does it even work? do we just bring along the letter that states that... Did any of you go through this???
