Got a second RFE on April 15th, sent April 15th but it was a small one compared to the first one. First one was on March 17th, sent March 26th

Got a text message today that our status online has been updated:

My husbands ROC is approved, and the green card is in production! took exactly six months from the filling date

I wanted to update some of you,

We actually ended up getting two RFEs! One around March 17th, send it march 25th. Second one April 15th, sent it right away the same day... and finally today they approved us, took exactly 6 months from the filling date!

I was sitting in my car during my lunch break,going through some forums on here, reading and reading.., and all of a sudden i get a text message that my status has updated, green card in production i thght i was going to get a heart attack for a secondd!

We had two RFEs and still got approved within the 6 month window.. I would say, submit another service request, when was the last time u did it? Wait at least 3-4 weeks from that... SOMETIMES the second one may speed it up. One of the VJ members submitted a service request, and than she did it again and got the same text msg as i did... its hard to figure out how they approve these cases. Good Luck

They do not call..

whatever they need from u they will ask u in writting (RFE, interview notices).

and failure to respond till the given date will result in termination..

Even ppl that divorced still send evidence, just to prove that it was not a marriage just to get papers..

did they look at your green card in Europe or only in US?

Also when it comes to RFEs, we filed I-751 in October and got a RFE on March 17! A lot of october filers have gotten approvals, and RFEs by now. Keep in mind, every case is different.. So, definently try to find those receipt numbers and give them a call ASAP. See whats going on, because its possible that something can get lost in the mail. Good luck, i hope i helped

Well you said that she had biometrics in November. You should have gotten a notice before that stating that the status of the conditional resident has been extended for one year. All of us have gotten that notice. Second notice is the biometrics appointment letter. Therefore, you should have gotten 2 notices by now.

Check with your wife because your receipt number is on that first notice! Also there is a receipt number on the biometrics notice as well. So there are two receipt numbers but only one of the works for the online status check, i cant recall which one works..dont have it in front of me at this point..

Here is what i would do..

Look for the First notice of action letter that they have received your petition, On that letter it should say that the conditional status has been extended. Look for the biometrics notice as well. Try one of those numbers and see which one works for the online status.

Contact USCIS, have them do a service request to see whats going on with your case

It does not mean u will wait 6 months. It states that in case u dont hear anything in that time frame to contact them. . Every case is somewhat different. Its up to u what u want to do. From my understanding if ur citizenship opens u cld file for it, in some cases it speeds it up! good luck !

I did and I am not that crazy to miss that many questions!!! I also checked every single paper i send to them! I wld understand that somebody cld miss one...but like a whole section is missing! i dont understand..im not blaming anybody here, but I am also not that dumb to miss that many questions..even if i just skimmed it when i was double checking it

So, i filled it out on the computer, and when they sent me this page...one of the answers was filled in with a pen? as much as i can remember, i know for sure i would not fill in with a pencil or a pen IF i printed my questions out on the computer. i dont know how they work over there, maybe they re-write it on their computer because the page looks very different from ours? or scan it or something.. I am not sure.!

i did write a letter to them and apologized, i am not going sit there and make excuses, it is what it is.... we apologized it may have been due to printing issues.. bla bla.. and i sent the whole application this time i left everything like it was before. I did not want to change dates on it. we just printed it out again. I doubled check like a retarard 10000000 times, and signed it...hopefully they will look at this whole application that i sent if they come across anymore missing questions.

However, regarding the evidence, I am sure IF what we sent before was not enough they would of included it in this letter... all they said was please fill out this page... and initial it and date it... and so I did that and PLUS i sent a whole application and i told them, we r afraid there may be more missing questions, in case there are please look at this application.

Got another rfe today!!! I cant believe this. That we r missing another question on the I-751!! i kept a copy in my email of our original one everhthing was filled out!!! I have no idea whats going on. We sent the whole application back this time. However the rfe said they received the previous RFE everything was fine except that they found more missing questions, so i decided to send the whole application this time! Just in case they say there is more missing questions. It took exactly two weeks! So im hoping this will be final cuz i sent the whole application because we were afraid they will say there is more incomplete parts. I hope they will look at the whole application we sent in case they find more questions missing. I didnt change dates or anything on it. I hope it will take two weeks again! And it wnt be another rfe

We also got an RFE, I was in the same boat as you are I started freaking out, because I did not what else to send.... I still did not hear from them though, because this was recently.... however, my case is a bit dif. than yours...

. The reason why we got ours is probably because we didn't have any utility/rental bills/health....

- tax transcripts 2013 ( which they didnt have) because we filed ROC last yr in October

-gym memberships from 2012

- facebook page ( small thing but whatever it may help because we r both on one page)

- emergency contact information

- our vacation package thats scheduled for June 18th of this year

- pictures

- we provided more bank statements ( quaterly) from 2011 to present

- i went to my insurance agent ( car) and i had them type up a letter, and print out insurance renewals

- notarized letter from my brother that we live in his household and that he doesnt hold us responsible for any bills in the house

- affidavit from our CO-SPONSOR during my husbands AOS process, pretty much stating how long shes known us and so on..

- copy of illlinois registration card 2013

Whatever I was not able to include what they asked for, I explained why we don't have it.

For instance, we didnt have any utility bills or rental, so thats why I included a notarized letter from my brother that I am still a student, and we live under his household. We also don`t have health insurance together due to high costs!

I do not have a full-time job, I am still a student. I had my employer type up a letter explaining that I am not eligible for insurance.

However, I do have it through school but it costs around 2-3k to add my husband, which is ridiculous, because it barely covers anything, if you know at least a bit about health insurance from school,...however, I do not pay for that insurance its covered through by my financial aid. I even included a letter from my school that I am required to have it, but i do not pay for it.. in case they say ooo how do you pay for your school insurance than.

I hope that will give you some ideas.....every case is different... do whatever you can

maybe you could send a personal declaration, wedding pictures, letters from other people get a couple not just one or two..maybe if somebody wrote letters to both of you...maybe if you have any bills that have both names on it ( if you guys bought something together), letter from bank..

Sure ill let you know. MOst likely I will do it after April 18th, because that`s when our case will hit a 6 month mark

Thank you so much!!!! When did u first file??? Ill wait a bit more for the service request cuz they got our RFE March 26th..which was only a couple of days ago excluding weekends

Yea, just go to InfoPass and make an appointment at your local uscis office, they`ll stamp it for you in your passport..it happens! US postal office has been loosing my mail lately too! :/ its scary, I had to call them a couple of times to complain...

I have one question regarding email- text message notifications during ROC process ( updates on case)

I didn't sign up right away to receive txt messages and emails for updates on our case.... we actually signed up recently when we sent out our RFE Package, is it too late??

We applied for ROC October 18th

RECEIVED an RFE March 17.

They received our RFE package on March 26th! it hasnt been two weeks yet !

Well, the biggest trigger for my rfe was missing one question on the I-751 form ( martial status) but when i logged back onto my computer it was checked off!! I think my printer scrwed up. I told them it was not itentional. However they also wanted more bona fide evidence! I have provided them with what i had. What i didnt i provided them with a clear explanation .. ..with bunch of proof

Remember not to count the weekends!

What does your online status say? Ours is still at initial review, that they received our petition on October 18th !! Nvr changed!!!

How long did it take them to approve your case when u sent ur rfe package for i-130?

Ugh must be pretty stressful that u got an RFE again! :/ well i wish u all the best! Ill keep u posted promise each case is dif! But at least it gives some hope and preparation!!! This is our first RFE !! I didn't think it was coming! but i was wrong ..

I forgot to mention, but I have done extensive research when it comes down to RFE responses... Some folks never hear anything from them until their approval.....i hope dat helps.. It may be just an approval letter..

However, if they are not satisfied with evidence received ( which I HOPE does not happen), they send you a letter notifying that your case was transferred to your local uscis office, and they schedule an interview..

I would wait because its only been a couple of days since you and I both sent our RFEs...

Neither have I :,( i guess we just have to be patient but its hard! Esp im scared we r gnna loose almost 3500$ for these airline tickets we booked for June 18 to visit my husbands parents! ugh!!! I agree with Darnell, we sent it through USPS (priority express). It got delivered the next day at 11:00am on the dot I actually went to their postal office, didn't do this online thing, up to you though if you`re familiar with it... . FEDEX does not deliver to P.O boxes, neither does UPS
