That's more than I got from them. At least there is a time period and not a date posted for the processing time now. Contact your Congressman and Senator ASAP!
Did you know contact your congressman/senator... what was the outcome of it, I know you have been approved, I was looking at your timeline.... Did you get their info from the website and called requesting for what? I guess I want to know how to present my case to my congressman/senator

Definitely hang onto the referral request number. According to the new USCIS Case Status Update Procedures posted recently, if you don't hear back within 30 days, you can email them at vsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov.
Will do thank you much!

Oh I see, thank you, fingers crossed!

So we have been waiting will be 6 months next week. When I checked the processing time again for VSC this morning it said 5 months for processing so I called. I told them it has past the processing time according to their website and it will be our 6 months of waiting next week. The customer service rep took my information and created a ticket of which she said she will send a request to VSC that our case has past the processing time and we should hear something within 45 days and if not to call back, she also gave me a tracking/ticket #.... Does this sound familiar to anyone? Does this mean anything?

It is well, thank you all

Hey All,
Quick question, does the application need to be touched first before approval. We filed in Feb, it will be 6 months next week.... Still waiting

us too, just got our NOA1
Hey friends! I havent filed just quite yet. I just returned today from Bogota today and had my sweetheart sign the necessary papers. I am going to sent it out on Thursday!!!
Is anyone else using the Vermont filing center? From reading previous posts, I get the feeling that it might take longer than the usual 6 months...Is this so?
Received NOA1 Feb 26, a week after we sent it in
Still waiting for the approval... and I do believe from reading other posting VSC could be slow as it varies.

I'm a late March K1 filer and if I see one more person from the middle of April get approved I might jump off a bridge! First come, first serve...ya right!
All I've been hearing is patience, it was 5 months yesterday for us too, we are still waiting on God... I agree it's not first come, first serve, I think it's random.... Our turn will come too in Jesus name.

150 days, VSC...still waiting and trusting God. Patience is what I've been hearing from the forum and that our turn will come soon too... I'm still praying and expectant, I know it's challenging, I check uscis website at least twice every but I believe they would come through.

moving thread
My bad.... i'm new to this!
You're referring to an EAD stamp that you can get at JFK. Honestly, it's of no use to you. The stamp is a physical proof that the entrant is eligible to apply for a SS number and it's a physical confirmation to the entrant they are eligible to apply with the Service for an EAD. But now that the I9's rules have changed, it is not worth more than that.Yeah I'm talking about the EAD from JFK, thank you

Is it true that you can request for a temporary work authorization at the point of entry which I believe will expire when the K1 Visa expires (90 days)?

Thank You All, Patience is the word... it's just funny some people are approved within 3 months and some longer..... We are still waiting on the Lord

I wanted to let everyone know how happy and thankful I am to God right now! My SO passed his interview and his visa was approved. He will be getting it next week! This has been a smooth process for us and even though it was kind of long we're so thankful. I just found out from him about an hour ago and I will post more details later!! I didn't sleep a wink last night just waiting and praying. I'm so glad to have found this website which has been so helpful! Thanks everyone!
I'm so happy for u o, we are still waiting for our NOA2, will be 6 months next week, I know God got it... Again, I am so happy for you, congratulations!

Hey all,
Not sure what's happening, we got the first confirmation that our check was received 5 months ago (it will be 5months on July 26), but we havent received any approval letter. Does it usually take this long? I was told the whole process is 6 months. We sent it to Vermont Service Center. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whoever told you six months for the whole process was a bit off base. The petition stage alone is taking 5 to 6 months now. You'll probably hear something from VSC within the next month.
Gees, thanks so how long does the whole process take, I understand it varies. Also I cant help myself, I found myself checking the status online several times a day and I have requested for them to email the confirmation to me, does anyone know if it comes authomatically so I can stop checking every hour.
