  1. guesss what everyone... i took your advice calling NVC and i asked the guy has my case been forwarded to the consulate and he said no it hasn't been forwarded yet but it seems to be you are under some additional processing and i said how long will it take he said try calling back next week... thank you alll for giving me advice in calling! and as i am seeing 3 people got their petition forwarded on june 24 or june 25... i hope AP goes by fast for all of us!

  2. boy oh boy, i hope everyone has a speedy process with AP! it can get frustrating, i thought that VSC had lost my case because it was 3.5 weeks after my approval and NVC still had not received my case. I called the USCIS director and they told me that it was still at VSC, I was relieved at the fact that it was not lost. I hope all goes well for alll of us!

  3. I got my approval notice June 4, but my case was still in VSC nearly a month after the notice date. I read in another post that AP is done on those cases that get checked and reviewed quickly at the service centers and the NVC picks up the work they didn't finish. I don't know if VSC was still doing background checks on my case even after the approval because my case was there for 3.5 weeks after the notice date.

  4. how did you all find out you were on AP? I called june 23 and to my surprise they received my case... I was happily in shock and didn't want to ask too many questions because I hear when one inquires too much or calls too much makes them suspect something. So I said thanks have a good day and the lady said wait, my heart dropped I thought she was going to say you are in AP, but she said let me give you your case number. The next day I got the letter! which was dated june 22... and when I tracked the cases sent from NVC in DHL, I saw only one case that was sent to the embassy listed the next day, but who knows it could be someone else. Is it true that usually when you receive the letter, they send the case the same day they send the letter?

    ADMINSTRATIVE PROCESSING

He gave us a green paper n wrote it will take on average 1-3 months. They didnt keep his passport.I will post the details when I in a better moood.

omg im soo soorrry to hear! i hope the AP goes by fast, insha'Allah everything will be ok just keep praying ok? Don't lose hope, and like someone said AP is better than a denial, your fiance will be out of AP ultimately with a visa stamp on his passport right? So why worry, everything will be ok just be patient

  6. no no, you don't have to apply again THE only way you would have to apply again is if it is revoked, but that won't happen. He should be in the United States before October 6 if you are saying the interview is in September, but if the embassy needs to do some more processing, they will extend the visa time frame. Don't worry girl, once the interview is successfully completed, he will be here before October 6

  7. D n M i didn't ask that question... the case was received today and said that my petition will be forwarded in a week or 2 to the listed consulate. I'll call in 2 weeks and see if my case is sent, I'm just relieved that my case was received NVC, i got scared that my case was lost in the mail or something... but thank you i will keep that question in mind and thank you lee b... I hope the same for alllllllllllllllllllll of our vj members and those who are in the same situation
