Sounds like you would want to have the barcode strip. Might save you an RFE.

The DS-3032 mailed out has the NVC case number barcoded on the top.

Use a black marker and write the NVC case number in the horizontal box that says "Place Case Barcode Strip Here Before Mailing to the National Visa Center.". Make sure to include the 3 letters in addition to the 10 numbers. Please write it clearly so the NVC case number can be easily read.

That is what I did and choice of agent was accepted with no problems.

No, nothing of the sort needs to be notarized. In fact all you need as evidence for filing is a copy of your marriage certificate but if you choose to send more evidence then a simple, signed affidavit from friends and/or family members is all you need. I sent one from my mom and one from my sister with our I-130 and we were approved within 3 months.

Here are the ones we used and again, they do not have to be notarized.

because u gonna recieve an email or snail letter from NVC telling u can pay those example u got an email sayin u can pay now the ds 3032 and iv bla bla worth 70$.

after a day u gonna recieve again the IIN sayin u can pay it on electronic bla bla.

then after 2- 3 days u gonna recieve again a letter from them telling u need to pay the ds.230 to generate ur process bla bla.

after a day again u gonna recieve a letter again from them telling u need to pay worth 400$ to pay ds.230 with IIN

we call nvc -.- they said that to us so now we can pay ds.230 coz we got a letter with IIN

In the message title make sure you put Atten:ACL. I didn't do that at first and I called and that's what the rep said and I got an email of approval within hours!

What does ACL stand for?

i dont know too we dont call nvc for approval of ds3032. i got letter automatic reply letter from them after 1 week they accepted the ds.3032 anf sayin pay the ds.230 i dunno wat ACL stands for

My wife, beneficiary, sent an email to the NVC indicating her Choice of Agent (DS-3032). How long does it take for this to be accepted by the NVC? Its been four days since she emailed and every time I've called they still haven't received it. When is the Packet IV ($405) fee generated?

Just hang in there. My wife emailed them on 3/12 and we didn't get notified that they accepted it until 3/25. And they replied by email. But others have had their's accepted faster. So it is just a waiting game. As soon as you get notice that they accepted the DS-3032, you can pay the bill on their online site. It won't allow you to pay until that time anyway.

Ok sounds like you are confused about the fees needing to be paid. The I-130 process starts with paying of 355 USD to USCIS, this is the petition fee (I-130 application) which you got your NOA-1 showing that is paid. Once your case is complete at USCIS you received your NOA-2 which starts the NVC process. The fees paid at NVC stage are 70 USD which is the AOS fee (I-864) and then the IV fee of 400 USD ( DS-230). Once you complete the NVC stage and your case goes to the Embassy you will have 213 USD medical fee, and at the actual interview you will pay a delivery fee that varies depending on the carrier and location of the delivery. The Embassy fees I quoted are for the Philippines but are similar to other Embassies.

Does my wife have to have the NBI clearance before i send in the I-130 visa package; she has a local police clearance from her city, but not yet the NBI, i did not know if we needed ift first ofr if we needed it later in the process?

Seriously... I haven't heard of very many people who've had touches or got their approvals via the website updates for through email.

What a huge drag....

You'd think they'd take advantage of that as most of us here are just looking for the confirmation that our files are being worked on or looked at -- I know I'd relax 75% if I got a touch and

was able to think, "cool, they're looking at our stuff, it's moving along..." now I just feel like it fell behind the radiator or someone used it to wipe their butt or something...

Wouldn't they want to make their lives easier over there? By not having to field a billion phone calls from people who are just checking in? Send an email... it IS that easy.

NO USCIS dont use it for tissue paper, they have much more efficeint way to use our dusty, moth eaten petitions.

Coffee coasters, even out a wobbly table, many pages for top of the line paper airplanes, testing out new shredding machine, frisbie, and on and on.

For the email part, they would not answer them, spend all day on emails. UGH!! we can not win in this process, and yes it stinks. Relax is not a word usecd in this process. Hang in there LGG, something has got to happen soon. I saw some about 5 Jan. filers approved last week, check out Igors List.

Our paperwork has been sent to the embassy in Manila and the NVC and I've paid the AOS & processing fee which is still pending, turns out we didn't need to file the I-824 after all. I thought I read somewhere that the case # actually is coded to show the approximate date of our interview. Is this true or an urban legend? If true, how can you tell?

Hi everyone.. I am bound to fly to be with my fiance on April 27.

I am however worried that an existing liability with the DOST (where I have a scholarship contract I have to fulfill i.e., reimburse the scholarship amount because I wasn't able to finish my graduate thesis) will cause a problem for me at the Phil immigration.

What are the probable reasons that this happens in the immigration?

What I'm trying to do right now is get clearance from DOST. The problem could have been solved if I can issue post-dated checks for DOST to clear me. But, I dont have a checking account and it seems the banks are stricter nowadays in issuing checking accounts so its almost impossible to get one right away. Another option is to ask my fiance to issue checks for me but I dont know how he can from US with only 3 days left in the regular working days..

I know my case is not common, but I was just wondering if there is anyone here familiar with immigration rules and procedures at the Phil airport on cases like this...

i got rumor with that case. same with my auntie's client but she said they paid it bfore they go in states. u got ur visa and ticket thats not a problem anymore unless they hold u in immigration.

you can screen capture then open in paint program then you can print it out. you may want to have your call logs open and use the screen capture while you are talking to them on webcam so it will show your faces there as well

how do you screen capture? I tried just pushing the keyboard key that says print screen but nothing happens.

hi... this is easy instruction

few days ago i was printed some of conversation of me & my fiance... all u have to do is go to the CONTACTS in the upper of YAHOO MESSENGER then click on that & u would see MESSAGE ARCHIVE then u click on that it will show a folder there & has a name or record name then u will see your conversation record time and dates...its easy i hope to help u

I just noticed, you got your NOA2, finished NVC, have an interview date all in 41 days!! Oh my gosh!! That is such a coincidence!

NVC still hasn't loaded our case in their system. NOA2 was April 9.

-.- philippines is too slow
