I just got log in failed, i guess that means case complete and no more RFE. I had no idea you guys are all here, i have been checking January all day and was wondering if every1 is on vacation.

at times it may seems like no one will be willing to help but if you try and ask people you will be amazed that you can always get a co-sponsor. if u really want him here you will try more, no amount of savings and even a second job can help you at this time, your best bet is a co-sponsor which is relatively easy. a coworker at target who is single without any dependant only need to make $18,212 (2009 poverty guideline) it will just be the co-sponsor ad your fiancee as the family members and you will be fine. Eve if you get an additional job now I do not think the embassy will reckon with a new job like that, seriously look at the poverty guideline it isn't too much that you cannot get a co-sponsor.

We were both just so overly excited, that I didn't go through everything very meticulously, but I always had a very ominous feeling that it wouldn't get approved. He's my whole life, and I want to start our lives together, I just hit a wall.

Hello recd. text and email saying I 130 has been approved. Strangely though the I 129 f status has not changed. Wonder why!!!!

thanks, i am soooooo glad too, i am hopeful in the lord that there won't be any RFE by the lord's grace. It is really helpful getting a response, this journey requires a lot of energy and strengthening from people who understands what it really means to be going thru immigration VJ truly delivered on this due to people like urself, MsSheka, Sachinsky, ParisHeart, A2A, Waiter, and every other person out their with all the creative user ids, u are all great!

Yeah, I am sure they are fairly stressed out on Mondays....Here we are beating down the door from waitng all weekend long and then all it takes is one sour person to spoil your whole day........

Kind of ruins it for whomever they talk to next...

thanks, it is such a relieve! i hope this week will be the magic week since we have been approved for over a month, but allow me to sound pessimistic by saying that i look forward to next week, i think it will serve me better if i keep my expectations low (except that my type A worrisome personality will not let me )

RFE is for the AOS which was already sent! Apparently the docs were reviewed individually, OMG they had me worried so much, i was so scared of any further delay, I really am at my stretch limit . For whatever the reason, the operators were rude to me and I found that to be unusual about NVC but I just ignored their rudeness having understand what stress could lead anyone into. I imagine if I have to work their shift and then the increased call volumes from the Haiti pendings my politeness can only goes thus far. :wacko: I will still call them back later today just to be sure that all reps were saying the same thing, the fist rep said they did not have my AOS while the second rep said we have it we just haven't review it :girlwerewolf2xn:

I sent all all docs, the only thing missing is my 2007 W2 which i mistakenly sent the original to NVC last year for my 1st appl. and my thought is that only current year tax and W2 matters most, what kind of headache they want to give me now? OMG, we'll see what they want by monday at least.

Quick question, will the representative be able to tell me what is missing or I will have to wait to receive the mail, plus why are they not sending the check list via e-mail like the rest of the communications?

they really ruined my day, i wasn't even expecting any communication from them till 2 weeks time. this is shocking and annoying, i cannot imagine what else they are asking for after all the docs that i sent to them. thanks for the response, i really hope that this journey will not destroy me. i will call them on monday morning to find out what they want and why they did not send an e-mail instead of the snailmail. I do not think you should get any more RFE, the DS230 is a simple package compared to the AOS which really digs one's life.

i'm sorry to hear that but they should be sending you a letter by email not by mail mine came three days later but i called and asked what they needed and sent it with the AOS coversheet that i had ,I hope they don't ask me for anything else I sent them all the info they asked for but i know the feeling they RFE'd me earlier this month

yeah, me tooooo CONGRATS EVERYONE, @waiter where are you? are u approved yet? if not it will come latest by month end, i see no reason why because it is 5 months now. you are in my prayers. CONGRATS Y'ALL FINALLY WE CAN ALL GET OUR HOPES HIGH. Thanks to those of you who were reading my rants during my lowest point last year, this journey has been very daunting for me and I am sure most of you understand. It is my utmost belief in GOD that it is all settled and very soon all our loved ones will be here with us and our 3onely days will be over. See you all at the case complete NVC thread. I hope that WAITER will join us soon.

ALSO--GUYS. I just received our NOA2!!!!!!!!! No touches or anything. Just the NOA2, out of nowhere. The text/email came in about two and a half hours ago. The case status online also reflects this--I'm so thrilled and so very happy! OMG, I can't believe this! Thanks for all your support over these last crazy months. Off to NVC now. But I'll be dropping in till each and everyone of the September filers is through.

Praying and wishing for everyone else still waiting. This IS our week.

Things are often not considered official in the U.S except if it has a written document somewhere, for a document with this importance to life I will mail it with a delivery confirmation or express mail that has a record.

For mailing the I-485/I-130/I-765/I-131 package it is mailed to a chicago addess:

I live in downtown Chicago. I was wondering is there a place where I can just hand walk my application in give to the INS office? If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks.

i used from Birth to date. but the catch here is that you will need a police report from the places where you had lived for 6 months+ (check guidelines for this),

personally i will not include a place of resident where i would not be able to get a police report or which may cause me additional money and stress to get police report (just my thought) especially when they have no way of figuring out where I had lived (this is true if it is not in your international passport which they will see at the embassy :blink: ).

In relation to Sydney, you can put from birth to date since it appeared that you just lived outside temporarily, any other place of resident where you had lived will follow with the time you spent their (just remember that when the time comes you need police report from those places!)

another question RE: Ds-230 (List places where you have lived since 16. Prior to age 16, I had lived in Singapore and Hong Kong. Since then I have lived in Sydney. So, do I put Sydney, Aus since 02/2001 - present, or since D.O.B 05/1987 - present ????

i don't know if USCIS is working today. I just call NVC to check AVR updates on my case and option 1 just gave me an agent who told me what was going on. Usually i press 1, 1, 2 as soon as I get connected to skip all the automated intro. Every good human being is saying a little prayer for HAITI now irrespective of their race, religion and creed, it is the least we can all do.

They told the husband the same thing on the 18th Jan ... you have 31 days before it reaches the 5 month mark, until then just wait. 3 days later it was approved. So the whole name check thing etc is really a 24 hour turnaround if there are no hits/red flags. One of my friends told me to watch this movie - Crossing Over - so I did last night. It's what people will do in the quest for a green card. Not a brilliant movie but made me sad that I come on here and gripe about the waiting time when people would literally die for it.

if u call the NVC today you will get a live person by pressing 1, they are handling HAITI cases today. Meaning that this may slow processing for standard applications because HAITIANS will get priority for now in order to relieve them for the tragic earthquake. I want us all to factor this in our waiting because the USCIS will probably be doing this now. I hope that the lord will relief all those concerned in the Haiti quake. select the first box and then put your Wife (USC) name and address as contact. Alternatively you can just send them an e-mail choosing your wife as your agent as soon as you learn from the AVR that your DS3032 has been generated. Check the WIKI for NVC for an example of the e-mail content and the format of sending e-mail to NVC. I sent my agent selection via e-mail and it was accepted the next day. As a matter of fact I sent it before the AVR update that the DS3032 has been generated, from experience I know if it has been two weeks since approval chances are that it has been mailed but AVR not updated yet. Either way, it will catch up with each other if you send an e-mail and also a hard copy. You can get all your docs ready now to save time with sending docs back and forth between AUS and USA. If you prefer the e-mail DS3032 you can just send an e-mail to get started no signature required in that case! Alternately print all the forms from online now, fill them, sign them and mailed it to your wife, as soon as approval comes she will just add the dates and send them out. Electronic DS 3032 will save you days in the process.

that was just my sense of humor, no race of course, no one can race with immigration processing cuz just when u think u r done u may be issued an RFE or somtg totally out of the blues. Hoping for March interview for us and for others who may get approved within the next couple of weeks :dance:

no race i just want to make sure everything is correct but my DS-230 and my RFE will be delivered on 1/25/10 I'm just happy that we have got this far and that's all they need

i am strongly hoping for that miracle and I believed in it because i did not even expect to beat MsSheka at the NVC race :no: but I have been preparing for over a year since this is my second application maybe that is what gave me the leverage (i canceled my approved 2008 application in february 2009 due to my incomplete divorce at the time).

@ MsSheka the race ain't over yet, let us race to first touch down in the U.S.A i think it will be fun!
