    Could someone please give me the link to sign into your account at NVC? I have called the AVR but I don't see on NVC's website where you sign in to view your case. Thanks!!!!

    Yes this is what I was looking for. I wonder how I go about getting my invoice id number? Do you have to wait until they send your invoice or can you beg it out of an operator?? How are you today Beth??? Any news??? My day hasn't been the greatest. My cell phone bit the dust. And I have something in my eye and need to go to the Opthamology clinic tomorrow :(

    NO RFE in mail box today, I swear that woman who told me of RFE yesterday, said it was not sent yet, ???????

    Oh Gosh, wanted to settle the problem this weekend, more waiting now! :crying::crying::crying: If it was issued May 2nd, when are they sending it? is there more things they want ? do they send RFE per item, or all in one big fat RFE letter????? I hate this!! :crying::crying:

    I was told when I got my RFE that usually they send all RFE at once. I was worried because I didn't get my RFE email notification until WAY after I got the letter in the mail AND it had a different date on it. I swear I think they like to #### with our heads!!

    Good morning all! I am working today and stuck on a floor where I don't want to be. LOL. Guess that's the price you pay for being float pool. Ahhh well this day too shall pass. How is everyone today? I am still in shock that we are approved and have our NVC case number all in the last 8 days. I hope the rest goes this quick as well. My hubby is in Cairo today getting together some translations we need. Hope everyone is having a joyous Saturday!

    I think each state must be different because for us, his arrival was the qualifying event and I was able to add him no problemmo. I was able to add him before he got his SS number but I had to give it to them once we go it since in Massachusetts you get a slip stating that you are covered under some type of health insurance program and you have to send it in with your tax return.

    I hope NY state has the same policy as MA, humpkinpumpkin - it never occurred to me that my husband's arrival (June, insha'allah) wouldn't be a "qualifying event" :blink: I just emailed my company's benefits person and hope to hear back tomorrow. I'll kick up a stink if they say he doesn't qualify. Who can afford not to be insured in the USA for 6 months until re-enrollment - I'd be a nervous wreck the whole time something might happen to him and he's not covered. That could bankrupt us. And how can an employee afford to pay the extra spouse rate for the whole year when you don't know what part of the year they'll be here. Anyway, I won't get mad till I hear back.

    Unfortunately kicking up a stink won't help. I didn't get my final divorce papers within 30 days and they wouldn't let me add my daughter to my benefits until the next open enrollment. Unfortunately I think they stick to these rules pretty well.

    I have great news :))) :dance: :dance: :dance:

    As I've been away from my PC the past few days, I didn't know our NOA1 number (shame on me!!!) and I haven't been able to check online our receipt number. It's been saying error anyway. And I got home today, decided to check the number, just in case, and OMG:

    Application Type: I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

    Current Status: Approval notice sent.

    On May 4, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

    And it's been only yesterday when I posted crying that we'll be the last in an year from now to get our NOA2.

    Ahhh Courtney hang in there, I am rooting for you guys just like Beth!! I want all of us to go through NVC together. I can tell you that I had a weird gut feeling that it would be in my mailbox so I called my 13th year old daughter to call me when she got off the school bus to let me know if anything came for me in the mail. She called me back and said, I think it's here!!! I was at work and started crying and all the doctors were looking at me strange. I didn't care!!! I was so happy.
