  1. Thank you REFIGH! I thought I was battling this ignorant forum alone. It is so very sad what I read here from others. I am actually crying.

The Iranian president and the western media gives Iranians a worse rap than they deserve. Most Iranians are fed up with the islamic regime. So much so in fact that many Iranians are renouncing islam, converting to other religions or just giving up on being religious altogether. My husband and his family and friends are the latter. You'd be surprised by how many agnostics or people that say they believe in a god but not any organized religion there are in Iran. You'd also be surprised at the number of Iranians that sympathize with Israel just to go against the islamic regime and because of their dislike of Arabs. Mahmoud I'manutjob is a village idiot but he's not likely to nuke anyone. Sure he'll fund militant groups like Hezbollah in other countries but he's not likely to give nukes to any Arab country because at the end of the day Persians hate Arabs.

Hey relax, i call them ####### ZIONIST!

We will not go to WAR for these ZIONIST!

  3. Can some of you MENA sisters out there give us some LINK to different websites that have nice MENA clothing.

Also help us with size conversion table please

What do you mean by "MENA clothing"? Most of the people, women and men, that I've seen in Cairo dress just like we do here in america, albeit a bit more conservative (no Daisy Duke shorts, etc.). You really don't need to go to a specific MENA store to dress like they do in MENA. If you're looking for an Islamic clothing store even you can always find what you need if you just look around for more conservative clothes. Hijabs are super easy since a lot of stores sell long scarves and in nice beautiful designs and colors too.

I noticed the the type of materials and garments used in the US is not that good. The workmanship is not good either! For example Morocco and

India use a better type of materials. I am just judging from what i have seen during my travel (13 countries)!

  4. Sorry this is way off topic and I would appreciate an unbiased answer but in Islam cousins are allowed to marry and according to California law they are allowed too. Well I married my cousin (my choice and it wasn't as if we grew up together like a sterotypical cousin) and with the visa process I have done everything to avoid suspicion of him being my cousin for example saying that my dad is his father in law rather than uncle, etc. However I had to write his mother's name which is the same as my last name and I guess my question is do you think this will delay our case in any way? Jazakalakhairun

As long as your marriage is true and you have all the proper documents then you should not have any problem. You don't have to hide that fact!

I met some people with similar case to yours:) they are here in the US!

  5. Bill should have done a documentary on how nitrogen in the air is causing global warming and may have won an Academy Award, no rewards for picking on religion.

We have MVP with Hollywood video, Religious is hot right now so would have to pay an extra four bucks to watch it, but that will die in a couple of days, then put on sale for a couple of bucks. Plus HBO will show it endlessly for the next ten years. Can wait a couple of days.

Will I learn anything? Probably not, but may be nicer than watching someone getting their head cut off with a chain saw. Lot's of movies like that on the shelves now.

  6. :innocent: innocent & truly mean that

Hey #######, Let's choose a day & make it a HAPPY VISA DAY!

OK my dear VJ friends, my credit cards are not for you to spend on USCIS fees. If you want me to be your SUGAR DADDY then let me know. But before

you answer that first you have to tell me who's your daddy now :bonk:

Not until you tell me who's yer Baghdaddy.

Did you mean Bagh-dad as..

Ok MISTAH you aint my sugar daddy, nor is anyone else. It was YOURS proposal to have VISA DAY, so hell ya, have visa day and give me your card number, because you want to celebrate.

    Got the point? You better.

Oh and I am done with USCIS, I will spend it on buying cloths from Abercrombie & Fitch

    FYI,

    It's Abercrombie & B.. tch

  7. http://www.lionsgate.com/religulous/

    Have you seen it?

    What did you think?

I thought it was interesting in the way that normally 'taboo' type questions concerning religion were asked of 'religious people' and 'religious leaders' of all different faiths....And it was very interesting to hear their reactions and responses.

It was kind of like Maher was openly asking questions of people that I wouldn't dare to ask ( especially here in the South where we live).

F..ck Maher. He is a friken loser. Who is he to make a movie mocking people's religion :bonk:

  9. If its gonna be this kind of party I'm gonna stick my d1ck in the mashed potatoes...

I would never compare the beastie boys to LFO.

I meant "you" in general, "one cannot compare..."

Ill Communication is awesome, by the way.

I like to eat fresh mint and mint my money too

    Sorry I got sidetracked.

The answer is no. Abercrombie and Fitch sucks. It's for frat boys with frosted hair that buy their clothes with their daddy's credit card. These are the same guys that wear khaki shorts everywhere(!) and visors backwards or cocked to the side. It is an exercise in douchebaggery. Sorry to be so blunt.

:wow: You make it sounds like Sunset Blvd time.

  12. Hello and I would like to thank you guys for answering so many questions for me. I need to know if the sponsor has to have a certain status in the US, I was told the sponsor has to be a permanent residen or citizen that it cannot be a provisory resident.

Is this true? what should the their status be? my husband does not qualify and my dad could do it but he is not a permanent resident yet.

    Thank

That is true! The reason for that is UNCLE SAM wanna make sure to grap that $$$ MOLA incase you don't meet your responsibility.

    permanent resident or citizen only!
