  1. This story does not surprise me , in 2000 i worked in this area as a "cable guy"in dearborn, coming from southern indiana, i found it strange that in america street signs were actually written in arabic instead of english. at that time i knew that i was the minority in this part of the world. I am glad i moved back to southern indiana from dearborn, my only hope and wish is that all these ppl stay up north in dearborn, and do not intrude on my birthplace. I doubt the ppl here would allow it to get as bad as it has in dearborn.

  2. Me ( USC ) and my wife LPR from Philippines, would like to travel to the bahamas this july. She does have her 2 year GC, would like to know if there would be any troubles for her entering the bahamas with her PI passport. I know that there is no trouble returning to the u.s. with her GC.

would like to know before i spend the money! :)

    Thanks.

  3. no one can tell you there will be no problems, those that do are simply doing so to make you feel better. anthing can happen at this stage, I told my now wife while in the interview to answer only the questions asked and to not volunteer or ramble on anwering any question. short precise anwer to each question and answer the question only.

as for the paper work sounds like your confident, thats all that matters. search posts about NBI seems that i recall if certain wording were incorrect that it might cause a problem or delay. maybe someone can remember.

  4. yea , this is my favorite part. you call them and tell them you spoke to nvc, and that the embassy should have it. but your told your case is not complete.

I came to understand this is just a ploy to delay the process for some reason or another. i called the embassy over 20 times. the last time i called i told the guy that i already spent well over 100 dollars on there pin number calls.

finally , i just told the guy that i got a email from the embassy. he told me to read it to him.

then magically he scheduled our interview!

this part of the process is a pain, i dont know if there trying to make as much money as they can on the phone calls or if they delay you becuase of scheduling problems.

may be different now with the ecomony tanked and not as many apps.
