Me and my wife have been through this embassy for the same type of visa you seek. I would bet or say for sure that the embassy would not accept a co sponsor.

It is totally up to the consular on that day, how they feel, good or bad. did they stay up to late the night before kinda cranky.

Also someone else can chime in here. but i would in no way mention that your mother and his aunt are friends and that they introduced you.

If i were in your shoes , first thing i would do if i was the boy is come to ph for 2 week trip, takes tons of pics! travel around the islands. when the boy gets home tell him to get another job! part time would even work.

The journey is to long and expensive to pin all your hopes and dreams on whether your co sponsor will be accepted.

I can understand that technically you met in person. however when you send her to the us embassy, they want to see photos of you and her together, you hugging her mother, you your girl and her mother and father and gramps and grams.

I would bet money if you try to pursue a visa for her , based just on that meeting that you would fail.

yes, from what i have learned for us self employed they want 3 years returns, i ordered 3 years of IRS transcripts, you can do it over the phone and they arrive in a week or so.

note that my 3rd return from 2007 i was just a bit under the line! i submited my ROth IRA account to make up the 1500 shortfall that year.

yea i could have took lots of miles on my van , but as i am doing my taxes i always watch that line 37 , ajust it as you need to get what is required.

As 3 years returns is advised , the most recent is the most important, i think next feb ??? ask someone for the date, USCIS will require tax returns for 2010, then do them and submit with 09 and 08.

also write your self a self employed letter, with your letterhead or make one. stating what you do ,clients,salary ect..

I am self employed too, satelite contractor. i too use turbotax to do my taxes each year, so i understand what your going through.

You will use your AGI ajusted gross income. it should be listed on the summary sheet on turbo tax (the first page that prints)

as for the credits i know how easy it is to keep digging and diggin till you owe nothing! but this does not help your situation. i planned 2 years in advance prior to my fiancee coming to usa,. i basically made my AGI what i needed it to be and what the goverment required it to be. sure i paid a few dollars in.

I dont know if maybe you can ammend your taxes, or maybe you should postpone till feb of next year. then plan accordingly!

seems the sponsor needs to be 18, I think this is required because of the contract or the I864 which is basically a contract. minors could not be held legally liable to this.

I think you need at least 3 visits 6 months apart. while there takes tons of photos with you, her and family all together at different places, beach, restaurant, hotel.

i think that 1. there should be no towns or cities sitting on the south border, buy them up from mexico and make a 10 mile de militarized zone all along the border. 2 use drones and limited military persons to patrol it.

yes i agree with this law also! Im surprised that this coalition would be against this. I always considered the philippine culture to be conservative and abide by the laws. maybe things are changing.
