I have a BDO Peso Savings Account...

Can my hubby send me money straight to my account? Coz eversince we've been using Western Union but the fee is so expensive.

So he tried Moneygram...I'm really having a hard time with all the docs and signature needed...i dont like it!

I just want him to deposit money straight to my BDO account.

Oh!my husband is in Tennessee right now, and most of the Subsidiaries and Remittance Partners of BDO are mosty in California...just one in Texas,Illinois,Las Vegas, Seattle...but no Tennessee...

I know it will cost us fees too...but i rather have it straight on my account that going to any MoneyGram or Western Union Centers.

From what I've read and from what the Japanese Embassy in Manila told my wife, she is supposed to bring the Japanese Police Clearance with her to the Embassy when she goes. She did however receive a letter saying we need to send it to the NVC to continue processing. Does anyone know if this has changed, or perhaps this is a mistake? I called the NVC and the woman on the found didn't sound to sure.. but they did send a 3 page letter in explicit detail about the clearance. Anyone else ran into this?

if anyone else could answer this question as well, or give there opinion it would be greatly appriated:

is local police clearance required from everywhere she lived for over six months in the philippines, when filing for the cr-1/i-130 visa to bring my wife here from the philippines?; or ie the NBI clearance all that is needed?

The more comments and feedback I get on this the better i will feel before filing, knowing i am not doing something wrong.

I have few questions that I am hoping that those who passed the interview already can give answers or clarifications to these few concerns.

1. "NO RECORD ON FILE" in my NBI clearance is this just okey? No need to ask for a letter from the NBI or have the remark change to No Derogatory Record on File?

I read a post about this topic but i just wanna make sure someone had the same remark and passed the interview.

2. When the consul asked for this clearance did he/she just took the Original Copy? No need for him to see if I still have my Personal Copy?

I attempted to renew my clearance hoping to change the remark to "No Derogatory File on Record" but since I am in Bacolod right now, it'll take a week to renew it and my interview is on April 29 already, too late. Anyways, i dont know what I was thinking yesterday but i did renew it and i passed my personal copy. Now I am worried that the consul will be looking for it aside from the original copy.

3. What are the documents that he took from you and did not return back after the interview?

Clearances should be in the applicant’s current name, birth certificate name, maiden name, married name, and any aliases or nicknames ever used, including different spellings of all names ever used. An official letter of explanation from the NBI is required for any notation of “No criminal record”, "No pending criminal case” or “With derogatory record.” NBI is located along Taft Avenue in Manila. You may contact NBI at (632) 523-82-31 to 38. For immigration purposes, an NBI clearance is considered valid only for one year from the date it is issued.

Hello to all VJ members!

Im basically new here, but i started reading visa journey since March. I read some forums and get some ideas about processing of our petition together with my daughter.

I have concerns like CBRA processing?

Me together with my daughter had an interview last April 21. The interview went well from the pre screening to CO. Until the CO noticed that my husband is already US citizen. She asked why we didn't file our daughter's CBRA for her to be citizen already. I told her that it takes time and we dont have much ideas about the processing etc. She continued typing on her pc until she said that my daughter is already a US citizen. She said that we have to go to the ACS (american consular services) to verify my daughter's citizenship.

At window 37, called my daughter's name and the guy in that window gave us instructions to go to ACS and he gave back our passports. Then we proceed to the ACS... from there... at window D, the guy gave us forms to fill up and said that gather all the requirements that we can and gave it back to the embassy. Forms are: for CBRA and for passport.

I have questions regarding the CBRA. Anyone ever had the same situation like us? My concern is the process of CBRA? How long does it take? also with the passports. Im supposed to submit all the additional requirements they needed next week cause im still waiting for my marriage index from NSO.

Btw, i forgot to mention that our case was expedited from NVC to USEM. Because my husband had an order for his deployment in July that's why im very much worried about the processing of CBRA. Can anyone help me and give me some inputs regarding our case? It will be appreciated.
