Yes, even if you are married you still need to sponsor him. You need to make 125% above the poverty line.
-
If you go there and marry him then everything changes. You can then file for a spouse visa. If you want to bring him to the States, you two MUST meet in person.

When we contacted ours that's the timeline they gave us but both responded within a week. Unfortunately their job is not only taking care of visa issues, and we are left to wait. Hope you get a responde soon. Good luck!

Congrats and good luck!

Apparently they have finally realized some people have been waiting way too long. About time. Congratulations!

If you change your address, just make sure you let USCIS know about that change.

I would freak out if I started to cry blood tears. Poor kid.

I wouldn't hit other people's children, I probably wouldn't even hit my own. But you have to admit that most of the time children aren't reasonably crying and, again, most of the time it's the parents' fault for not raising them right (meaning disciplining them). Of course, some kids are naturally whiners or hard to deal with but I don't think they are the majority. That's nothing I hate more than uneducated kids who won't even let adults talk (again, parents' fault for letting them interrupt the conversation all the time).
Last July I went on vacation to the Dominican Republic. My fiance and I were in one of those tourist places. He went to the restroom and I sat down on the side walk to wait for him (it wasn't a sidewalk that people actually walk on). Anyways, there was a family of 4 and the children were about 2 and 4 years old. The 2 year old was running back and forth with his arms open and everytime he ran past me he would hit my back. The first time I thought it was an accident but he kept doing it, and every time he hit me harder and harder. On top of everything, he started giving me a mean look. When I looked at his parents, they were looking at him and smiling (kinda like congratulating him for his new "game"). It made me so upset, is that really how you educate your children? You just spoil them and let them do what they want, and that's called love? I don't think so. If you don't mind your kids hitting you, don't assume other people won't mind that either. Of course, I didn't hit him back, I just gave him a way meaner look. He hated it, started crying and left.

Great news, congrats!

You just have to prove you two have met in person once in the last two years, not every single boarding pass is needed. We only had boarding passes of one trip, the rest of the evidence was passport stamps, bank statements etc. If you have more, great. If not, don't worry about it. Good luck!

I'm sorry things didn't work out for you. Looking on the bright side, at least you won't have to go through the almost always painful divorce process. I wish the best of luck for you!

I made the same mistake and it wasn't a problem during the interview (in my case, on the work for the last 5 years question, my answer on the DS-230 was different than on the G-325A). They didn't say anything. If they ask you about it, just say you made a mistake. Just to be sure, take a corrected DS-230 form with you in case they ask. Good luck!

My visa was approved in Brazil on the 28th and they said it would take from 7 to 14 business days for it to be delivered. Didn't they give you a receipt with a tracking number? And congrats on your approval!

I just can't wait to see the Visa Approved topic.
