  1. I was about to get into a deep depression mode because I was not getting EAD approval then a strange thing happened:

I received I-797 notifying the interview date on 9/10/09.

Is it ok that I receive interview notification prior to receiving EAD approval notice?

Btw, no updates on USCIS site.

I know the feeling. My AOS is getting all kids of attention and I am sitting here wondering about the other two applications. I think we have been conditioned to expect a wait for the GC but a quick turn around on the EAD and AP. Regardless I am happy to action of some sort.

Congrats on the interview date!!

  2. We flew with our 3 month old kitten in March. She did great! No meds needed. I was worried at first but she just watched people and stared at me when she could. With an older cat in a car I would think it would fine but you could get the medication to help her sleep and only use it if you need to. Good Luck! You can see a pic of our Mini on my profile. :luv:

  3. First of all HELLO everyone !!!! :D

It's been a super long time since I last posted on here, however I have had a quick read over everyone's posts and everyone seems happy and moving swiftly along to the finishing line, which is great to see!!!

I am glad to say that Mike and I had our Visa approved. Mike came over for a weeks visit recently, and coincidence should have it that My visa interview and medical were scheduled for the day after he arrived in London; therefore he got to come with me!!! I must say it was a lot of waiting around, and the interview itself was such an anticlimax!!! I really thought I was going to be taken into a room and interigated lol!! Glad to say not the case ... up to a window where the consular took my fingerprints had a laugh and joke with Mike and I and told us what to expect when I get to the US!!! He mentioned it's bit of a prison sentence until I get my AOS etc.... Anyway everything going smoothly fingers crossed, hoping to fly to Houston on the 9th of Sept to be with my better half!!!

I'll keep in touch... take care everyone!!!! Luv M xxx

Congrats!!  That is great news.

  4. Hello June filers, sorry i have not posted or make any updates since receiving my biometric appointment letter.I did go in for that on july 1,there was one touch on my AOS application and none on the Ead.

But i did check in on all your rapid progress and was really impressed with the way almost every one was receiving Good News.I have been very busy, taking maths,Chemistry and preparing for biology come sept (all RN prereq).

I never took any of these courses in high school and actually hated maths, but here i am taking them all on my own.

Congratulations to those who have had transfers,Ead ordered,AP ordered and many touches.

I also see alot of new members, hope its not too late to say welcome?Well.welcome to all

I only had one touch but the good news is that i got my interview letter for Aug 28,at 9 ,,45 AM.

Am so happy and hope that the interview goes well.

I will dissapear again but know that i have everyone in mind,in my prayers hoping that we all will have our GC latest sept ending.

    GOOD LUCK

Thanks for the update shashar. I was wondering how you were doing. I am glad to hear you are busy with important stuff. Good luck with your interview and the math classes. Keep us posted!!

  5. Hi all

:star: Got my EAD card in mail :star:

Nice...1 down 2 to go

I had a touch on the AOS today...nothing has changed with EAD or AP... the same message about my case being at the center it was transferred too blah blah blah....no more information

I had a touch on my AOS today too...What is up? Nothing on EAD and AP as well. Our files must be close to each other in the CSC office.

Congrats to all that are getting good mail and notices. Things are heating up, very exciting. Good Luck to all of those next in line. They seem pretty orderly with the processing.

  6. So, does everything think going early for their biometrics actually speeds things up?

My appoint is on Aug 4th, but I can walk to my office in less than 5 minutes so I was thinking about trying to go early... but will 2 weeks really make a difference?

My husband says just to wait my turn...

I don't think it speeds things up...from what I can tell. I don't feel like I cut in line . If your that close I see no harm in asking but the waiting is nothing like the first part of the journey. I would have waited if I wasn't moving two hours further for the summer.

  7. i wonder why i never get any touches on my AOS..... but when I checked the mailbox a few minutes ago, a letter from USCIS has been sitting there. I asked my husband to open it for me since I was carrying my baby. then VOILA!, REQUEST FOR APPLICANT TO APPEAR FOR INITIAL INTERVIEW

its on the 20th of AUG at 11am...

wow... i am just so happy... im hoping that it would be a breeze though. :)

God is good... He will guide me for sure and send the Holy Spirit to enlighten the interviewer.. :)

That is amazing! Congratulations!! Does your USCIS status reflect what the letter says? Good Luck getting things ready and enjoy your weekend knowing what lies ahead.

  8. Panna, did you get an email saying an RFE had been sent out? If so, I know that mine just isn't being updated...just as it didn't for K-1 either.

When I sent RFE back to them, I sent it with delivery confirmation, so I knew by checking USPS website that my package was delivered on Monday. And just today I got an e-mail update on my file that they received it and will resume my case. Hope that answers your question, if not - let me know.

And yes, they probably get so many packages all the time that it takes them plenty time to make sure everything was received that they asked for and update your case, so don't worry!! I'm sure you'll hear from them VERY soon

I was wondering if they sent you an email when they actually sent out the RFE or if you only got it in the mail. We sent our response with delivery confirmation too, so we saw when it was delivered to the PO Box. Either way, we finally know they got it. This was on the website for our case for today:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.

On July 16, 2009, we received your response to our request for evidence.

Yay! Hope they work through the weekend for all of us!!

I am so glad to hear that things are back on track

my ead was last touched today. this morning the status was CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED.

i checked a few minutes ago and it was changed to this

    Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On July 16, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

does this mean the card is on its way or its just a letter of approval? :D

i can hardly wait to have it coz i want to get a SSN. :)

congrats to all who got good news. :) keep the faith, GOD IS GREAT!!!! ;)

  9. Hi Guys,

Some advice please. I filed my AOS including Advanced Parole and EAD at the beginning of June, received NOA dated June 12th. I went in early for my biometrics on June 23rd. The original appointment was for July 9th, this was cancelled and a new appointment letter was received for July 21st. I know I don't need to go as I've already done my biometrics, but I haven't had a single touch or anything since the original NOA. Should I be worried? Everybody else seems to have touches as soon as biometrics are done!!

    Thanks,

    Paul

    Paul,

My EAD nor my AP have been touched, my date still says 6-12. My AOS was touched but that was due to the transfer. I would not worry yet. Good Luck!!

  10. AWWWW I'm a June filer i wanna get touched ... someone touch me ... hahaha ... actually my biometrics is tomorrow so should be touched soon .

Welcome! It's helpful if you fill out your timeline. Also, feel free to add your info to the Google spreadsheet (link in my signature) so you can see how you compare with the rest of us! Good luck!

I won't be doing either of those but thanks

Aww, bruddah, you gotta give, not just receive! :P

Agreed  I am such an organizational freak I can not resist a tool like a spread sheet or a timeline. Thanks again DavChels! I have been keeping track of the progress from my phone. Not much happening the past few days. Lets hope for a freaky friday. Went to Six Flags with Balvino on tuesday and he loved the roller-coasters.

  12. Hi Guys!

    I had touches on my I-130 & I-765 today.

I'm assuming the I-765 because I got my fingerprints done yesterday. Hopefully they approved my EAD :D :D

That is good news. When I got my biometrics I didn't get any touches on the EAD. Mine still says the 6-12 the date after my NOA was sent out. Right when you think you see a pattern they throw you a curve ball. I hope you hear something soon I am hopeful for next week.

Visa Journey was down for a minute this morning but they posted a nice notice to the early risers here on the east coast.

  13. Hi Everyone, I know I have never posted here, but I have been reading posts and gaining information from many of your experiences. I want to say thanks for you all, even though we have never talked you have been a great help, I appreciate it.

Well, we have gotten the K-1 approval, I got an email today, it was approved on July 10, 2009, but still waiting for hard copy. Just thought I would share our good news, thanks!!

Congrats!! It is an amazing feeling. Enjoy and good luck on the rest of your journey.
