hello i filed for an appeal on a k1 visa last year and i was in india at the time i filed it so my dad took care of the paperwork and its sending. i told him over the phone not to send it to washington dc but he did anyway. so uscis forwarded it to long beach california which they usuallly dont do. usually they will just send it back. so we thought that it would be rejected and we were afraid that the deadline would pass so i had him send an all new package to long beach with a new check. anyway the whole thing was dismissed and they sent out a dismissal letter on one of the two generated case numbers for the appeal. they however charged us with both checks cashed. weve tried to talk to them about receiving the money back for one of those case numbers but so far they havent done anything about it. what can we do to get the one check back? thanks

hello mr simps here. i am now worried that it is taking long becuase they are looking at our first case number which was for a k1 visa. they denied it becuase we never met before filing. and becuase we didnt sign the applications. i made one mistake on my wife's name. i put it without the middle name. but now she is going by her married name which is her first name then my name so its competely new. also we appealed it but it was dismissed. i just never knew they would make it so hard on us. any thoughts about if this will be a probelm for us?

hello again mr simps here. are u all dialing with the 800 number then 121 then reciept number then 134? i keep getting the same lady and she keeps telling me i dialed the wrong way and then she says that they dont handle case questions at the california service center. are those the correct dialing instructions? thanks

From your timeline your case has been completed at the NVC. You should be given an interview date. The Consulate Officer (CO) can approve your husband his visa the sameday and he can pick it up the next day. Don't always assume you will go into Administration Processing (AP). Since your husband worked for a security company there at the Embassy that is easy for them to verify his employment. So INSHALLAH your husband will be approved and he will be home with you really soon.

I think she is rite.. Your husband worked for security company at embassy so there will be No chances of the AP But Allahu aalim. InshaAllah he won't get it, don't worry too much.

hello all this is mr simps. i called one more time and it was the same person i always get. she told me i am dialing the wrong number. i dialed the 800 number then i dialed 121 then my case number then 134 like u guys said. she said i need to dial 121 then case number then 33. but i think that just goes to the national service center. m i right? and i know they never give any answers in that service center. they only read from the website what i already read. i cant talk to anyone about our case and they havent touched it since 4-30-09. what is going on with it i dont know. last time i got an answer was that they are doing a background check. i hope i hear from them soon. me and my wife both are not having a good time waiting for it. thanks to all of u

Actually in all fairness, my husband, does make the bed, hangs up wet towels, puts his clothes in hamper, but dont wipe shower down after showering. He can cook, does laundry, and brings his dishes to the sink, I autmatically thrown them in dishwasher. All in all, I would never trade my fellow. Now only got to break him of hogging remote, LOL

hello i am just wondering is it possible for my wife (who i already applied for cr 1 for) to visit on tourist visa and wait with me in the US to get her interview (for cr1) then go back and do the interview? then come back on cr1? how long does a tourist visa last? and can an indian get it? and if so how long does it take to get it? and what is the chance of it being approved? is there any chance this will raise any red flags for us? thank u all

Well my husband called uscis and we found our (i-130) case is in back ground check. They told us the same thing it will take 90 to 180 days at back ground check for I-130. Its almost more then 2 months no approval or no RFE. Now since so many days we r trying to call and they give us the same answer that they can not inform us anything about whats going on with our case? They touched our case 5 times since we filed.

Mrs. Simps,. sounds like when your husband calls, he just get the wrong people to talk with. They can be short, rude , and so un-caring at times when we call. All we want is a scrap of hope thrown at us of a time line. I understand your furstration, look what I just went thru with USCIS, they never sent my RFE when they were suppose too, and if I did not call them back, USCIS never would of know they did not generate the RFE or much less send it, it would of ruined our case!!!!

Hang in there, I feel good things coming by end of May for all March filers, and my feelings are usually right, just like last Friday, I knew I would know womething with USCIS, and it happened, I did hear news!!!!

Taj's american wife why the offensive response? is it more common in MENA countries than Phillipines to be into AP?maybe that is why she asked.. at least that is what it seems like to me in my frequent visits reading in the forum.. first not only Muslims go on AP ..everyoe can and i saw examples in many countires ..specially high fraud ones .filip , india , pakistan and nigeria is one of them ...thts according to many articles everywhere ...and thts why no DV visa`s for such countries ...so not only muslims ..lets say ALOT for muslims ..but still applied for everyone else ...

I agree with No where man.. Its not that only Muslims get AP or Muslim country ppl gets AP. Look at the NO where man.. He got his case done without any difficulties. Thats true No where man i m from Indian and i have seen a lot fraud ppl here who go over seas and fraud the GOV. its their rule of being hard and they have to if they don't do then They might have trouble for their countries and somehow they r trying to save their own ppl from frauds. Here we r not for any religious debate, we are here only to support each other and ask for help to live with our loved once. I have seen a lot philli ppl and so many Indians and Pakistani getting married to US citizen for green card and due to these ppl we have to face all the problem.

you're at least lucky that u were able to talk to an officer and get it taken care of. they wont even talk to me. all i get is call the national service center where they read from the internet to me what i already downloaded two minutes before calling. these people are getting paid for nothing. absolutely useless. its not customer service its a complete waste of time. i'll just wait to see what they send in the mail. i pray that God gives them a reason to at least approve our I130 soon amen. inshaAllah. all i can do is wait and hope. noone will help us but God.

i don't understand your case at all. could it be that your husband starts calling with an aggravated tone in his voice.

our tone reflects how we feel... ask your husband to smile all through out the call, when you do call again.

Well i don't think my husband Was bad anytime with them. even i listen to them too i mean to say person who talked to him. they always answer him polity but with the same answer like can't give us information. I was thinking its only for us but they replied the same to one of the other VJ march filer so now i don't feel like it has something to do with our case only. Well he deiced not to call again now but i was so impatient and i told him to call. He said he won't call these ppl anymore now. I don't know how u got to talk with officer?

Apparently, Canada has one of the longest processing times. How lame. I sometimes wish there was no immigration within countinates, because a lot of the time, they're so similiar. I just hope my husband and I can start NVC by July. That's when I get to see him next, but only for 2 weeks.
