One thing is to be direct and another sarcastic and offensive. Just answer what the person asked without ur stupid nonsense.. And it is not just $680 there is also taxes we pay as lpr that is part of the requirements to become a citizen, and other legal fees that some ppl have.. I think the ppl that comes legally to this country pay their fair share to be a citizen. We come to this site for support! And help.

In central America El Salvador I think is the poorest country.. After Haiti which is the poorest of the hemisphere.. Of course they would want to come back.there is nothing better waiting for them only gangs.. The thing is ppl every country has it's flaws and this country does not escape to that. It is great country? Yes. But it also has many many problems.. Let's not try to cover the sun with a finger now.

every system has its fatal flaws. my wishes are for people to stop abusing and JAMMING UP OUR LINE! and please stop oppressing other people.

I've heard of immigrants being mistreated and petitioners being used for immigration benefits or mistreated. This is not a black and white issue. We have some cases where people have had bad intentions in both directions, and yet plenty of cases where it just didn't work out. When the heart is hurt, its hard to say how you'll react. Even if there is a legitimate reason to want to send someone back, that person would do much better just forgetting it and moving on with their life. There's also the case of petitioners poorly treating spouses or potential spouses and refusing to help that person return when they want to. There is every mix under the sun that will come through here. I'm just glad there appear to be more happy cases than sad ones. Or maybe I just prefer to believe there are more happy?

A petitioner should treat this process as though there was not a "return to sender" option. It's not fair to look at your role in this journey from a position of leverage and power. People mention the heart of the USC; it's bad enough that USCIS paperwork refer to people as ALIENS (hubby really took offense to that), but to have the frame of mind that only the USC has a heart implies that you believe your worth is more.
When the relationship is USC & USC the issue of returning them is null. Can you truly say the hurt is greater when the person is from another country or is your mentality that you believe you've paid for this person so they owe you?

I'm still waiting for my interview letter.. What it bothers me the most is looking at some January filers that have their interview schedule for this month!

Where in NY do u live? I just sent back my biometric letter to reschedule cuz I can't go next week. I live in Astoria and according to the letter I had to go somewhere in long island city for the fingerprints.. By the way everything is going really fast..
