what's in packet 3 &4 and when does fiancee gets these packets after Noa2 is received.
-
so when do I mail gathered evidence to fiancee after receiving NOA2? Can I wait till interview date is set to mail the evidence to her?
-
Your I-129f was approved in 54 days from your NOA1 date.
Yeeeeeeees!!! Checked my email at work 'bout 3-4 times today but saw nothing indicating a touch or anything on my application. Well, got home and checked my mail box and there it was, NOA2!!!!!!
Big thanks to all VJ members for your help. I really really appreciate it.
Now phase 2 begins:
When do I send my gathered evidence to my fiancee?? and
what evidence does she need to put together.
FORM DS-156 is the form my fiancee will have to fill out? Can I fill that form out and email to my fiancee? Thanks everyone!

Depends on how much was in the transfer, if enough for visa fees, medical fee, can be fine.
However if a large sum, this can be tricky, it can look like "buying a bride".
IMO, it almost never helps and actually CAN hurt. I'd leave it out.
Can you not show this as evidence of ongoing relationship?

Hi folks. Hope everyone is doing great!
Just got a quick question and I need some answers, please.
so my fiancee lost her phone and needs to get a new one. Of course, now her phone number will be different from what is listed on the application form?
how do I update this piece of information with the immigration office?
USCIS will not call... consulate won't unless there is a problem
So how do I update fiancee's phone with USCIS to make sure they have the right phone number if they need to call? application forms are with the USCIS currently and not with the consulate yet.
Let me reiterate... The USCIS will NOT call...
what about the consulate? if they need to call which number will they use? is it the one I put on G325A forms? that's the one which is no longer working because fiancee phone got stolen.

OMG... where is the popcorn
Pass it around.
Can I get a cold beer wit dat?
wow, what a wicked mind. At least tell the first boy to withdraw the petition so he can move on with his life and not waist it on you. It's just a sane thing to do. We're only judging based on the info. you've provided, and so far you just don't look good in this forum. wow!
MAKE IT TWO COLD BEERS FOR ME, PLEASE.

We've been romancing for only about 8 months online and we haven't even met each other yet, in person. I want to go ahead and file the I-129F without proof of having met in person. I want to bring her from Cambodia to marry in the states. Should I start the application now? Any thought would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
You haven't met each other in person within the last two years? don't even think about filing I-129F until you've met your fiance(e) in person and have evidence to back that. Good Luck!

assets are not a requirement, if you have enough income then it's fine, assets are only used if you don't have enough income, so a co-sponsor is not required...
Thank you!
-
I don't have assets but do have income to meet the requirements as set by uscis. can I still do the affidavit alone or I'll need a co-sponsor, someone with assets???

You posted the same question yesterday
No I didn't. The first question asked about what I need to get ready. the second question, I'm trying to find out what she, fiancee needs to get ready.
why posting again, you'll just make this forum more messy and you'll still get the same answers...Is not the same question. first question was about me, second question was about her.

So I just mailed my I129f. Just wondering what documents does my fiancee need to get ready in her country??. just want to stay ahead of the game, so to speak.

How far back of my tax returns do I need to get ready for my affidavit of support. I'm just trying to stay ahead my gathering the information now.
do I need both the tax return and thier w2 forms too?

ON the form G325A, where it's asking for applicant's residence last five years. I put my fiancee's physical residential address and not the PO box.
Will this be a problem??. I mean is this where they'll mail her forms to if approved. That probably will not work it's going to africa since they only use the PO Box system. Do I need to be concerned here???

According to the visajourney's guide to filling k-1 visa forms, it looks like my fiancee also has to write a page or so in addition to mine, explaining how we met in the past two years. I thought it was just the petitioner who writes that??? am I wrong???
Yes, you're wrong. I suggest you read carefully, interpret literally and follow the instructions to the letter. Your description about indicates you've misread the instructions and mixed item 4 with item 5. They are separate.
What it is with you telling people they can't read properly?
This is an immigration website and people here have every right to ask questions about the process.
Thanks everyone for all your help. I 'ppreciate it.

I notice the form G325A has four pages. Do I have to attach passport picture on each page???
Also I do have Five pictures of me taking with my fiancee together. Will this be enough to send with the I-129f???
I do have other evidence like my boarding passes from when I met her. and one email from her to me and one IM.
Will these work as evidence???
Only one passport picture is needed per person when filing the petition. One for petitioner and one for beneficiary.
Do I attach this one passport picture to the front of the form G325A with a fastener or a stapler??

so I'm ready to mail my I-129f. Just wondering is there any special organizations or any special order I need to have these papers together???
Just curious.
-
NOA1, NOA2, what do all the abbreviations used here mean??
-
First of all - pictures are purely viewed as secondary evidence; so they don't hold too much weight. That said - our intent (most of us), when we send/sent photos was to show 'us' together.
Sending photos of an engagement ceremony would be a great way to do that - but I'd be hesitant to send a photo(s) like you're describing which might might cause questions/concerns (e.g., "Why was he/she not at his/her engagement ceremony?"). I'd opt to simply select a couple of photos of you two together.
Thanks!!
-
so I don't have any pictures taking together with my fiancee at the engagement ceremony since I wasn't there.
But I do have pictures from the engagement ceremony that she took with some members of my extended family as well as her own family.
can I include some of these pictures when I'm mailing the I-129f application????
bank statements?

if you have both checking and savings accounts, do you add statements from both accounts to your I-134, affidavit of support or you just add statements from one account?
