My wife's card expires on 05/20/2012. I believe she needs to file her removal of conditions by 02/20/2012. My question is:
Do the forms have to be in the USCIS office by 02/20/2012 or the stamp from the post office has to confirm that the forms were mailed on 02/20/2012
thanks for your help!

Sorry it's Form 258 not 158. Do I need that?
what about Form FD-158? ( two completed fingerprint cards for applicants and dependants between the ages of 14 and 79)

The only form you need to remove conditions on a conditional green card is USCIS form I-751.
If you fall under any of the "exceptions" categories listed in the instructions, there may be other documents you need to send along (such as passport photos), but only you can determine this by reading through the I-751 instructions here:
http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-751instr.pdf
I am not including the list of evidential documents that you need to include with your application but since you asked about forms specifically, I-751 is the only one you need.
Good luck!

just to verify. Do I just need the I-751 forms to remove conditions or I need some more forms?

My wife's Green Card expire on 05/20/2012. When can I mail her removal of conditions forms ( I-751)??
Please, help!
-
Well, if you can provide the exact expiration date, we might be able to help you..but here is the breakdown with the info you provided, May 2012:
Feb 2012 will have 29 days
March 2012 has 31 days
April 2012 has 30 days
Total=90 days
This is assuming the GC expires May 1st, 2012 then you will be able to mail the paperwork on Feb 01, 2012.
Card expires 05/20/2012
That means I'm able to drop removal of conditions forms in the mail on exactly 02/20/2012 or I can actually mail the forms after 02/20/2012?
-
Pleas, correct me if I'm wrong. The expire date on my wife's GC is 5/2012
so when can she drop her Removing conditions paperwork, in the mail?
is it anytime in the month of 2/2012 or some other date?
thanks!

If I'm a non-US citizen married to my wife ( a USA citizen), filling form I-765 how do I answer question number 16? I came with a B1/B2 visa.
I'm only trying to help a friend out.
can he file the I-130, I-485, and I-765, and mail them all together?
thanks for your help!

My wife just got her work authorization card. She doesn't have her greencard yet. Can she take this authorization to the social security office and get a new social security card with no conditions written on it?

After marrying my fiancee, I just received my two year green card. Can I file to bring my brothers and sisters here too as a green card holder??

I filed for AOS together with Employment authorization for my wife. She has not received the employment authorization card yet. But today she received a letter from USCIS that reads " welcome to the United States of America".
It also states that, " We will soon mail you a new Permanent Resident Card. You should receive it within the next 3 weeks."
Question is: will they mail employment authorization card separately or receiving the Permanent Resident Card is also the authorization to work?
Do I have to take the Permanent resident card to Social security office to get her social security card updated too?

I'm a USA citizen. Which form do I need to fill out in order to invite my mother for a visit?
-
My wife just got her SS#. The words " valid for work only with DHS authorization" is written on it. When will that go away? Do I have to go back to the Social Security office?
-
I e-filed all my taxes for the past 3yrs. I do have copies saved on my flashdrive though. Do I need to sign those forms when I print them for the AOS??
-
Yes it is.Yes - Page 8 of the I-485 instructions.
thanks folks!!

Is the current fee for AOS still set at $1010.00 and payable to The Department of Homeland Security?
-
Why not include Form I-131 in case your Beneficiary has to travel outside the US while in the AOS process? Something to ponder. You also need two passport type pictures for EAD and if you were to apply for AP you need two for that as well.
So a total of 6
Do I need a separate set of supporting documents for the EAD in addition to the passport pictures? if so what are the supporting documents I need to include?
thanks for your help!

• Form I-765 Application for Employment Authorization
Thank you!!
-
How many pages of the G325 are needed for the AOS?
-
So I just need three pages from the passport for the AOS package, ( the biographic page, entry stamp page, and the visa page )??
I don't have to make copies of all passport pages like I did for the initial K1 package, right?
-
Your "status" is what you were granted when you entered the USA... your status is K-1, it expires based on the I-94
moving to AOS forum
Thanks!!
-
On "Part I" of form I-485 under question " CURRENT USCIS STATUS" I put "K 1 VISA HOLDER" for my fiancee's application. then next question states " EXPIRES ON" . Are they asking for the visa expiring date or the I-94 expiring date? please, help.

SSN can take 2-4 weeks (more/less) but you don't need to wait for the number to file your AOS (just put "None" for the SS# on forms), it isn't required.
Thanks much!!
