  1. hi everyone, instead of just sulking and depressing on why my NAO2 has not arrived yet, id like to gather up my documents for the NVC process...

heres what i have so far: my hubby's police clearances and his birth certificate. now, someone told me on VJ to fill up the DS 230 (my hubby the beneficiary, fills that up right? and also the I 1864...they do send this as a package from NVC right?) so if anyone can help me out in preparing since all of you are very much experienced NVC people alreayd, i would really appreciate it, thank you...

    Hi Taj,

Yes you can get ready with those pacakages...

I-864 pacakage should be done by you with folloing documents:

I-864 Cover Sheet (will be generated when $70 fees are paid)

    I-864 Form (filled by you)

Most Recent yeaar Tax returns and also if available 2 more years tax returns.

    Employment Letter

Pay Stubs for past 6 months.

And DS-230 need to be filled by your husband..

I am still in the process of filing DS-230 as my bill is not generated but the instruction in Wiki are preety ckear.

    Hope this helps.

  3. Not to discourage you but our NOA-2 was 7 months after our NOA-1 and like you we never got a touch or update online to our case. Just be patient and you will get it. you can use this time to prepare for the NVC step. Download the DS-230 and I-864 and start gathering the documents needed. this will give you something to do and help pass the time while waiting on the NOA-2. It will also have you ahead of things at NVC which will make that process faster. Also I would suggest reading the NVC short cuts and flow chart on the wiki. and learn as much as you can about the rest of the process. Best of luck and hope the NOA-2 comes soon just be patient.

thanks...can you tell me the link to ling che's shortcut at nvc...also for the DS-230, my husband the beneficiary fills this up right?

  4. my father hated my husband for a very long time, but i guess he just had to accept it since we got married and had a son. but its the public crowd that totally annoys me like when they ask where is your husband from? and i say pakistan and they say, oh my god he might be a terrorist. so me and my husband make jokes out of it and throw it back to their faces...like yes his family name is also hussain like sadam hussein, they are actually related, sadam is his uncle and yes osama bin laden is hiding in his backyard in pakistan and he drinks blood from humans and just walk away....

basically i really just dont care anymore, you love ur husband and he loves you...thats the only thing that matters

  5. Sitting around and drinking Red Horse or San Mig all day long

    Driving MotorBike around town

Cheap Food and Coke with Sugar instead of High Fructose Corn Syrup

Helpers doing my cooking and laundry........

I AGREE! i miss manang yayas at home and manong driver...they do all the work, clean, cook, laundry, and u just tell the driver where you wanna go too!

  6. i miss the philippines very much and i am really looking forward to visiting soon...(i actually already started to fill those balikbayan boxes for my pasalubongs to random people back home...(para kayla manang-maids, manong-driver, etc) anyway i think this is a very interesting topic...and i want to take my mind off my I 130 with no touches and no NAO2 since feb18 (so dissapointed with Vermont Service Center)

    here it goes

    1. my family of course

    2. the pedicures and manicures (iba talaga dun, dito hindi ko feel na sobrang nila na linis...)

    3. hot oils and cellophanes

  7. i want to rebond my hair when i go visit the philippines this year and cut it short like shoulder length again, my hair past my bra strap right now but my hubby says not to cut it. i dont really have time to fix up my hair and let it loose and flaunt it because i do work in a hospital and i just want it out of the way. i am still having second thoughts about cutting it short...sayang nga talaga. mga pinay kasi known for long black hair tapos sabi nila it makes me look younger. pa tingin naman ng pics ng long hair niyo. here kasi wala naman pa hot oil not like in the philippines...

  8. hi pinays, we are all known for long straight hair and i want my hair rebonded in the philippines...any suggestions? im gonna cut my hair around 2 inches past my shoulders and i dont want it super straight because it will make my face llook long...straight but with volume hahahaha...
